That's on NAFEM. This time, it does look like they are bringing back BTA and PTA and form M.

We will get more clarity next week.
Ok. I doubt it though.

The CBN has been selling retail to BDC aggressively, even increase their allocation.

I'm hearing CBN will start selling USD to retail from next week.

We should expect naira appreciation in the short term. The protest has been hugely successful.
They have been selling since 2 weeks or so, the demand is just too high atm.

The increased state allocations is what will suffer. The same allocations governors said was not enough to meet salary obligations
Then let it suffer. What are the state govt doing with their increased allocation?.Who are the protester calling for its head? No be Tinubu.

Na him remove subsidy, na him go face the consequences. It's not as if he consulted the Governors before announcing on inauguration day that subsidy is gone.

The same place they are getting money to pay subsidy now.

First let us clear some lies.
OBJ is living proof that this country progressed as against regression during his time.
Industries were booming.
People were coming back to naija.
OBJ had alot less to work with than all presidents after him. So how did he do it?
Even GEJ with all his corruption had an economy that was on growth trajectory with the likes of China.

Now for the ministry aspect.
Again let us look at Dora and what she did with public health and how effective she was.
How did OBJ do it?

Let us look at Mama Iweala under OBJ.
So is the issue the president or the ministers or both?

We can also look at Adesina with GEJ😁.
In 5 bullet point, please list out the achievement of Adesina as Minister of Agriculture.

Buhari did not budget for subsidy beyond May 31st because he just packaged it for the next person

Cost of paying subsidy was running the country bankrupt even all governors agreed that if subsidy didn't leave they won't be able to pay workers beyond May

Imagine a situation that oil prices dey the same place in May 2023 but workers have not been paid for the past 1yr

Do you think it won't be worse than it is currently?
Have you lived in a state where workers weren't paid for 6months, I think You were in Osun during the days of Aregbesola half salary.

There are no easy solutions to Nigerias problem
Yes there are no easy solution to Nigeria problem means you must be careful not to compound those problem. Nigeria was already tough as it was before he removed the fuel subsidy, after removing the subsidy, the shege level was increased by x10.

I'm of the opinion that if he had waited for maybe 6 months maybe to critically access the situation of things, he would've come up with a better way to manage the fall out of the fuel subsidy removal. He can easily send a supplementary budget request to the NA to cover the 6 month.

Now the government is on the back good struggling to even catch up. It's self sabotage.

Na this managing the situation better thay Tinubu has gotten wrong. I'll always say that removing that fuel subsidy on that first day is reckless and not well thought out. We are still suffering from the after effect till now.

The first 1 year of an administration is when the administration enjoy a little bit of goodwill but he eroded that goodwill in less than 1 month.

No matter how lofty your ideas are, you should be able to implement it in a way that wont turn everywhere into chaos.

Na him dey inside dey see wetin the government dey do because we no dey see workings like this. The government has been to lethargic when you need them to be decisive and urgent in addressing the challenges we are facing.

Whether what he says will later come out to be true at the end of the administration remains to be seen, but so far so good, this government will be remembered for hunger if things doesn't change asap.

The Traditional Rulers in the Videos were simply reminding Lagosians to avoid the Protest. To avoid what happened to Lagos during Endsars that, true Lagosians won't allow repetition of Destructions in the State again.

Never did they mention Igbo or perhaps there is a video I missed. I have been waiting for him to back it up with a link but na kinda wọn ní wọn ish.
Let's wait for him to bring the video so he can show us the traditional institution that were engaging in tribalism.

The videos trended on Twitter some days back, if I come across it again I'd share, but Igbos are mentioned specifically.
So you dont know the traditional leaders, you saw a video and then you have been using that as a talking point as if traditional rulers in SW are doing bigotry and tribalism.

It's always funny that you people will not bring all the countless anti Yoruba post on twitter here but when any Yoruba does his/her own, you will rush to bring it here to dog whistle "Yoruba are tribalist" as if it's not from both side.

I'm not arguing against effective communication.
But what makes it effective is the actions that proceed it.
If you are communicating and still increasing the suffering of people, the people stop caring about your communication.

Infact people (Nigerians) won't care about communication if life was good. That's the koko
Whether life is good or not, the government still owe the people effective communication of policies and actions been taken.

It is through effective government communication that people will hear about government policy, opportunities that citizens can benefit from and the likes.

They owe it to us to communicate what they are doing and how they are doing it.

Emir talk, cleric talk, black talk, white talk

Shey Tinubu get jazz wey he go put for tongue to calm them down?
Emir talk does not carry the same power and influence as the President own.

The President can talk and reduce the price of gas from 1200 to 900 in an instant, the emir or cleric does not have that power.

The President need to address the nation.
