Eunoiaa: Which "they" though? Who are they, because I do not understand that use of pronouns.
Unless you just want to be dishonestly selective, there is only ONE person who has been coming in here to drag me. Posted my pictures repeatedly and even responded to a diary post I made elsewhere in here.
I reported the posts and and he came back to drop this comment garnering about 14 likes and 6 shares, mostly from the regulars in here I'm sure, so I guess you're right on that front, Ray Dick. Absolutely none of his (Fira09) antics would gain any traction here if people like Seankafor and other faceless swines weren't egging him on. You cannot expect me to keep quiet in the face of provocation.
Ballzproblem2, TemporaryHansel, WhoDeyHouse and some others intentionally quote my posts and set me up for bullying and you'll see some hoarde laughing and shit.
Abi you people don't talk about music in here? You never talk about women in here? Even though I jokingly posted about Simi and Tiwa's song, one ediot was telling me that I have an undeveloped brain for doing so. Unprovoked. Snide remarks here and there that none of you 'neutrals' deem it fit to speak on, but when I respond to them, oh, it's suddenly this thread is going to shit and you guys are dropping one or two zen quotes.
I felt the need to respond to this because I am in the "centre" of it. The only person trolling me is Fira09, importing his beefs here with me. Every other people I have an 'issue' with in here developed from squabbles over a discussion.
A40 too started going personal with me today. He did not have to say the words, but I did took offense at him implying that I dislike Odumodu because his lyrics are true about me "you people", "female nature." Again, nobody, including the Egbons like Ibime and Raumdeuter saw it right to set that straight. Which is fine. They are not obligated to, and I am not even saying all these to paint myself as a victim, but what I do not appreciate is when y'all now turn around to be dropping lines like these when I respond back. I mean, is all not fair in love and war? What exactly makes it so easy for them to go personal with me when they do not act like that with other guys?
At least with the very one time Nihilist jnr quoted me/I had a disagreement with him, he's really stuck to his "no fuçks given" lane. Even when Ibi.me disagrees with me, he never goes mud-slinging like these ones.
There's no egregious or outrageous opinions I share in here, even moreso than others, and so, even though I seem to be in the midst of some constant "fights", it is because THEY (they know themselves) have an ax to grind with me for whatever reason.
If it's not personal; then my reactions to the mockery and subs should not be seen as an "heaven is falling down" situation in this thread too.
Thank you. I dont think I've ever told you not to respond to or reply to anyone you want to. It's your right and none of us own NL. When the person that posted your pics did, I reported the post for breaking rule 10 and even told someone else to do so. I am not on your side or their side, infact there's no side at all to me because I'm not interested in any of this discussion you guys are having. I most times just skip through. Finally, please do whatever makes you happy but if I can offer a little "advise", please take it easy. Thank you. |

I believe the naira will settle and stabilize around 900 - 1100 and they will try to defend that position. Her lawyer instead of signing off on her releasing an apology letter has sued for her illegal detention ; yet u are asking me to show u how she was detained illegally ? How ?
I also noticed u sideline the attempted rearrest in January .
I don't recall me telling u at any point Effiong was her initial lawyer. People change lawyers for varying reasons . The Kano state governor changed his lawyer after losing his preliminary hearing .
I also wish both parties well at the court proceedings . I don't have any attachment to both parties ; may the best team win. Bros I already addressed this. Effoing wasn't her initial lawyer, her initial lawyer was smart enough to know settlement was the better option. Watch that man video again, he said Chioma herself was the one that offered to write an apology letter. It was when Effoing came into the picture that we started hearing illegal detention and all. The police tried to rearrest her in January because she jumped bail which is a crime in itself but they didnt and till now the lady is still walking free so I dont know what point you want to make from there. All the best to both of them. |

A40: I no take anybody side tbh. My own problem is always that illegal detention because anybody can be victim tomorrow and they will also claim right. That's my own principle
See how Cardi B did Tasha K and now Tasha K is in everlasting gbese. Suing the Chioma and ensuring she's in permanent penury or letting the courts follow due process so she faces proper jail is better.
Even the Erisco tomorrow can be a victim depending on the aggressor which is why we should always push against unlawful detention This is the misinformation the man in that video i.bime posted in the morning was talking about. The way they are talking about illegal detention, you will think maybe the man locked up Chioma in police custody for months. The man simply reported the case to the police, she was invited and detained and released 48hrs later. From that September till now, the lady hasn't been arrested or detained, so where exactly is the illegal detention coming in? The plan is to shift attention away from what the lady did to make it look as if the Erisco man is targeting and oppressing her when all available information point otherwise. |

NAFDAC has affirmed that the paste has the right quantity of sugar, and sugar can be used in making tomato paste
Also, Chioma does not have the pack that almost killed her, neither can she remember where she bought it, or got it from.
If this person is not a witch, i don't know who is.
Now, na illegal detention be the problem. [/color] Them arrest person on Sunday and release her on Tuesday with both parties agreeing to settle out of court, one party reneged on the agreement and start crying the victim while using social media to bully the owner of the company. Look at the clear cyber bullying the man company is going through and you have to ask yourself what exactly the man has done wrong in this situation. He felt his company was defamed, he took the matter to the police, they came to an agreement to settle out of court, one party reneged on the agreement, Erisco took the matter up and file a suit at the court yet its Erisco they are bullying. BlueRayDick: This is u assuming without having the fact.
The Effiong guy is her lawyer and he filled a case seeking redress for violation of her fundamental right over an illegal detention . That's the information out there which we are to work with and not " If's " .
Whether they instituted a criminal case against her immediately or not is immaterial . The police going about trying to arrest her in January after a November court order barring them from doing so is an illegality . U can decide to agree or disagree , but it is what it is .
Asking what the man has done wrong is subjective depending on what side of the divide u are looking at it from.
The case is already in court, May the best team win. The police should desist from arrogating powers they do not have legally to themselves . If a judge does not order the lady's arrest they shouldn't be seen trying to illegally detain her going forward . Let the warring parties slug it out in both the civil and criminal proceedings . Simple ! Bros, Effoing wasn't her initial lawyer from the beginning. Of course hes going to say anything to defend his client even if it's not right. I'm just telling you that arresting her on Sunday and releasing her on Tuesday cannot in anywhere be termed illegal detention. Theres a reason why they are trying to make it look as if the Erisco man is bullying her or using the police to detain her illegally. I've asked you to show anywhere the police detained her illegally and you cant show any because it doesn't exist. Anyways, it's all good and I wish both of them the best. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 1:40pm On Apr 01, 2024 |
BlueRayDick: Okay let me break it down again for u.
1. Chioma was arrested in Spetember on a Sunday and released on Tuesday. That's definitely not 48 hours legally allowed for the police to detain a suspect. That's illegality number 1 from the Nigerian police.
2. Chioma's lawyers obviously advised her that her fundamental human rights was trampled upon by the police and she has a right to seek redress in court and also jettison whatever agreement she consented to under duress while in detention
3. Her legal team got a court order that barred the police from further arresting her in November, but didn't stop the police from instituting any legal action against her. Why did the police sought to arrest her in January if not that they enjoy so much impunity and people always clap them on? Can the police not proceed to arraign her for criminal defamation and now wait for her to either appear or not appear in court?
4. Yes the lady and her legal team instituted a civil case against the Erisco man but it does not stop the police from going ahead with the criminal case against her. Neither did any law say she must be in police custody before they try her for criminal defamtion.
The thing is if people decide to put their emotions aside, they will the case for what it is. Aside from the fact that the man feels his company's reputation is at stake; he also feels his ego is being bruised. It's no surprise tho cos most Nigerians with money (and even those without moeny but ego) would feel same way in his shoes as typical naija big man. How is Sunday to Tuesday more than 48hrs? If the police arrest her on sunday by say 6pm, it will be 6pm on Tuesday that the 48hrs will elapse. You see how everything you have just typed has moved away from her case with Ericso and fighting against the police who arrested and detained and released her on bail within the 48hrs as stipulated? Do you also know that Erisco and the police didnt actually file a case in court immediately until the lady in question jump bail and went MIA? The man has no fault in this matter according to the fact on ground. She made a post that he found to defamed his company and he reported the case to the police, who arrested her, got to a resolution and released her but she then went against the resolution and the man and police took the case to court. Please tell me what exactly the man has done wrong so far? |

It's a no brainer. Nobody will sit idle by and watch someone ruin their company with lies and then resort to bullying of both the company and the police to evade facing consequences. The funny thing was that she actually posted the apology letter on her wall before she deleted it and her new lawyer who wasn't there when they agreement and resolution was made in the first place said she wrote the apology under duress. BlueRayDick: Did the Nigerian law say if a person jumps bail the police can detain u illegally ? If the police would not obey a court order, then what law are they relying to claim they are maintaining "law" and order?
When u say jump bail what do u mean? Did the case come up in court and the lady refused to appear at the hearing?
Court pronouncements in themselves are laws. Why is nobody hounding Peter Odili u mentioned after a court order barred the security agencies from arresting or prosecuting him?
The thing is in Nigeria we let emotions take the better of us and we tend to argue in favour of what side of the divide that favors us.
The man has a case of criminal defamation he wants the police to pursue on his behalf . Fine! The offence is bailable; Fine! Let the man and his company mount pressure on the police to accelerate the court to hear the case while the lady goes to the hearing from her home anytime the case comes up.
The police don't have powers to just look someone up indefinitely when a judge has barred them from doing so. It is simply illegal. But I understand this is Nigeria tho.
U are right the lady had a chance to let the things go the Nigerian way by apologizing, but since she declined to that offer it doesn't necessarily mean she should now be detained illegally na. This is exactly I was saying up there. When did the police detain her illegally? That's where we should start from? From my knowledge of the fact of the case, the lady was only detained when the man went to the police to sue her for defamation. Dont forget that the police cant detain you for 48hrs before charging you to court or releasing on bail, if you are released on bail, you are bound to always honor the police invitation? Again the case is in court in Abuja and it is Chioma, her lawyers and influencers on Twitter that are bullying the company online. From when she was granted bail at the police station till now, the lady hasn't been arrested or detained by the police. The only time the police tried to rearrest her was in Jan and which wasn't successful. I hope you know that jumping bail can lead yo additional criminal charge of obstruction of justice? The only time the police detained her was when the matter was first brought to the police and she was granted bail and released for them to go settle the matter amicably before our human rights activist turn the whole matter into something else. |

BlueRayDick: See ehn, Nigeria is a funny place and the more u look the less u see .
I'm not a fan of defaming a business , but if u feel ur business is being defamed u should go through the legal route of seeking redress in court .
From what I've observed thus far, Chioma made a post that the man found to be defamatory to his business brand and he wrote a petition for the police to prosecute her for criminal defamation ( I may be wrong , but this is what I think happened)
Now from that man's video I watched in which he claimed he stepped in to have things between Chioma and the erisco man resolved out of court, it appears the erisco man agreed with that and wanted Chioma to write an apology so he can tell police to withdraw the case.
Obviously Chioma left the police detention and Effiong being a human rights lawyer advised her not to abide by the police station agreement because the initial detention was illegal and even the agreement they had was illegal cos she was under duress.
Effiong proceeded to obtain a court order to bar the police from further arresting Chioma on the same issue in November 2023 but Nigerian police acting true to character refused to obey that court order.
All of these boils down to lawlessness that is prevalent in Nigeria . Even people who stole billions of naira in this country go from their home to go for hearing . As we speak Fayose has a 6.9 billion case against him by EFCC for stealing public funds that should've been put to public use and he's going about his day to day normal life.
If the Nigerian police has a criminal case against the Chioma lady for defaming Erisco foods, they should prosecute her while she goes to court from her home . The company has a right to test their case in court . Since the man has said he will rather die than let her go , then let him do things the right way instead of Nigerian police acting as tho they have more power than a law court From what I know about the case, the case is actually in a federal court in Abuja. All these would've been resolved if she had just agreed with the resolution they made in front of her lawyer in the first place and the issued would've died down. Posting the apology letter on Facebook is just to give back the company the credibility that she throws to the mud when she said the product is killing people. Nigeria is just a funny place because the police is constitutionally back to make arrest and detain people. Section 373 of the criminal code treats defamation as a criminal offense if the matter is likely to injure the reputation of any person by exposing the person to hatred, contempt or ridicule, or likely to damage any person in his or her profession or trade by injury to his reputation. The above clearly gives the police the power to arrest and detain her and then charge her to court. But then our judiciary are used to grant useless orders. Imagine a court of law granting an order that's stoppin the police from carrying out arrest of a suspect in a criminal offense who jumped bail? Its the same way that PH high court stopped EFCC from ever arresting or prosecuting Peter Odili. The moment you jump bail, it's a different matter entirely. The fact of the case has been relegated to start talking about illegal detention from police and all that. This matter would've been resolved since last year September but then 6 months later, shes still running kitikiti while pursuing a case in a federal court while those edging her own are in their house using her to chase clout online. |

BlueRayDick: Ta what cost to his business ?
So many people didn't even know any Chioma did any product review till the whole case of illegal detention started making the headline .
I just feel the man gave her unnecessary publicity which is hurting his business negatively now.
Hopefully they all find a way to sort themselves sha . All these talks of burying anybody won't do his own business any good . His competitors whom he thought were sponsoring Chioma initially will now milk this negative PR and make sure be spends serious money trying to clear his name.
In business no be everything be gragra The truth is that, this matter would've been settled if Iniehebe wasn't involved in the matter. The same letter of apology that the man talked on in that video is the same one that Iniehebe said Chioma wrote under duress. Social media is a really funny place, where so called anti oppressor crusaders will rather let a simple matter that would be resolved easily turn into a charade for clout sake. While Chioma had the right to criticize the company, defamation is a crime and the company has the right to sue and be sued. What is currently happening to the company online is bullying which is why I think the man want to prosecute the case at all cost. You cannot defame a company and say the company has to right to defend itself. At the end of the day, whatever happens to the case, Chioma will face it alone and those edging her on and using her for clout will not be there with her. |
