Honestly, the subsidy ending by June 30 is like postponing the panic buying. Because you and I knows that even if people decides to relax today, tomorrow, it will be chaos.

My stand on subsidy removal here is clear. I am pro subsidy.

What I expected from Tinubu was to at least wait till June 30 while working on how to cushion the effect of the removal and better implementation.

I believe this one na unforced error and not the right way to kick off the administration.

The statement is basically telling people to stop panic buying as subsidy will be removed by June 30 as it is in the budget.

If I was in his shoes too I will appoint people I can talk to in my local language for my own personal staff cos I will not be speaking English to everybody in the public and still speak English to my personal staff again.

I will prefer people I can speak to in Yoruba sharp instead of thinking in Yoruba and speaking in English to them. I wouldn’t want to join that mental stress to my workload. Make people allow him appoint people he’s comfortable with in his own personal staff Abeg.

Tinubu should not have announced the end of fuel subsidy in his inaugural address, that announcement is what has cause filling station to stop selling fuel so they can rip Nigerians off as usual. He was not well adviced on this one at all, this is surely not a good way to start your reign as President.

The problem isn't about removal of subsidy but the fact that Nigerians don't truth the government to re-channel the fund elsewhere that will be of benefit to us all.

Ordinary Nigerians did not complain about the subsidy because it's just about the only think they benefitted from the government.
