Ibime: On the first video above, his voice is horrible, and he is miming the chorus section. At exactly 1.09 you will see him turn away from the mic yet his voice is still singing (backing track).
On the second video, he is miming completely to an autotune enhanced track
Check his tiny desk concert to know how poor his voice is

nihilistjnr: Lagos State public schools is not the same as Covenant University.
Hijab is different to Niqab. No public university is allowing you to write exam in this Did the ladies dressed like this? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 10:44am On Mar 31, 2023 |
Ibime: The law in Covenant does not supercede the law in Nigeria if they sign up to be a Nigerian public centre
If they can't guarantee Nigerians the right of Nigerians, they should be stripped of the right to act as an agent of the state (exam centre)
It's a simple stuff. This was my entire argument o |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 10:44am On Mar 31, 2023 |
nihilistjnr: Freedom of religious dressing isn't guaranteed anywhere.
Muslims can't wear Niqab for example to exam hall in any public university in Nigeria, and its a religious dressing Haba don’t say this outside ooo. Muslim wears Hijab to exam halls in my university steady without issues. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 10:42am On Mar 31, 2023 |
Ibime: The blame is simply on Covenant
If you sign up to be a public exam centre, you simply take on the responsibility of a public centre where freedom of religious dressing is guaranteed. You are now a state actor and the state allows for such dressing. It’s a simple thing but our people here will rather blame the lady in question. |

I'm not talking about Hijab now.

Yes or No? Yes |

A001: If you're in their premises, just obey their rules. Write your exams and use the hijab after leaving the center, which is inside the church premises.
No need to make a mountain out of a molehill.
Wasting time and resources on trivial issues like religion.
Nigerians go get sense one day sha. But most churches mandate their members to cover their head while in the church now, so how is wearing an hijab that covers your head now a problem? |

monerozi5590: Maybe they have another reason but I see no issue here. Hijab is just a dressing to show modesty. Some cover their hair and shoulder alone, some cover down to their knees. Some even touching the ground.
Similar to what nuns wear. To show modesty. Must be another reason because it can’t definitely be because of hijab that simply for head covering. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 8:43am On Mar 31, 2023 |
BlueRayDick: Lolz . Tell that to unilag that prevents u from driving around the campus as ur like on convocation ceremony day when ur ward is convoking .
U will be advised to park ur car in designated car parks while either trekking to the convocation ground with cooler of rice in ur head or join thousands of people waiting to use the fee BRT buses that are provided for commuting .
These things dey happen , na because we are extremely religious (but ungodly) people, na why we dey always give these things much spotlight when religion is involved How is this the same thing with this jamb issue ehn. This is apple and oranges comparison. In the Uni I attended, you cannot enter into the school gate as a student while wearing a flip flop or a palm slippers. If you do, you will be sent back home or detained by security. You have to always dress corporately. But non students can wear whatever they want and they won’t be sent back by security or detained. Even during post utme, you can wear whatever you want to wear without issues. The students didn’t chose the school in the first place, the school was assigned to them by jamb. I can’t remember correctly but when filing jamb for, you are always asked your religion was. If Jamb knew those religion affiliated schools has certain rule that you must dressed like them before they can allow you into the center to write exam, then they should assign people to center based on their faiths. Problem solved. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 8:37am On Mar 31, 2023 |
nihilistjnr: Why should they not be allowed to show whatever part of their body they want at a CBT center?
Does JAMB stipulate that a student can't write exam in a cleavage revealing outfit?
Or are you suggesting that CBT centres have the right to enforce dress codes at their venues? You know what I mean by indecent dressing Egbon. No Dey do shakushaku. 😂 |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 8:33am On Mar 31, 2023 |
izzou: CU did not allow those ones too.
Or did you see Catholic Nuns writing the CBT while our two Muslim sisters stood outside?
They don't want anyone to wear it. It is their law, even before any one of them bought JAMB form Then jamb should simply stop using them as a CBT for national exam that has all religion participants. Simple solution. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 8:32am On Mar 31, 2023 |

JAMB will not post you there.
I thought you said you work at a CBT?
Modified: Do you mean the exam?
The school is not the one setting the exam. So what is their headache with what he writes? Your last line, the student is also not the one choosing the center they want, why is it the center headache what the student decides to wear? |

Justice to finally take the CBT test with a Hijabi, while other Muslim faithfuls are on their PHd thesis.
Justice delayed cannot be denied, truly No, it’s not about writing with Hijab, it is about stopping jamb from sending students to centers that will discriminate against them based on their religion. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 8:30am On Mar 31, 2023 |
BlueRayDick: Lolz. Students even get levels pass who never gain admission for university .
Those schools will not even shift ground for a non-student . Anybody who attended public university knows these things . You cannot enforce your rules on those that are not directly under you. They were there to write an exam, let them write their exams and go home. |

Or Islam has a better preference than that?
She can repeat it on the real JAMB day, and let her centre be CU.
Then she will have to choose between her future or fight against "Religious Intolerance". is hijab a Muslim dressing? Don’t Christian Nuns in catholic wear hijab also? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 8:22am On Mar 31, 2023 |
BlueRayDick: Some secular schools do not even allow u pierce ur ears as a male, they do not allow u dress the way u like by wearing crazy jeans ,etc all of which are part of ur fundamental human rights . The question is why is nobody flaying those schools too for stumping on the students fundamental human rights ?
Religion is truly the opium of the people The rules apply to their students, does it apply to those that were posted there to write exam? |

Muslims have been writing in CU...I mean the real JAMB. Or do you think CU opened their CBT yesterday?
I hope she gets her legal ground to sue JAMB after 5 years of court adjournments How I’m I the one making a big deal out of nothing when I’m not the one sending students that want to come write exam home for wearing an hijab? Yeah even if it takes 10yrs, justice will still be done. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 8:17am On Mar 31, 2023 |
nihilistjnr: My question to you is where to draw the line?
If as an adherent of isese, I choose to tie wrapper and chalk up my face, is it up to JAMB to look for a CBT centre at one oritameta somewhere to accommodate my religious dressing?
If a babe worship Namor or Aquaman and dresses in Bikini and G-string to honour her Gods, should JAMB start looking for CBT centre in Atlantis to avoid religious problems?
If that dude that went naked to Bar Beach to pray for Tinubu wants to write Jamb with his nuts hanging unfettered and freely in the breeze, should JAMB tell all CBT centres to allow him to drag his sweaty buttcrack all over their computer lab?
Like brehhhh Just look at the kind comparison you are making to wearing a simple hijab. This is ridiculous abeg 😂 |

What the fck is the big deal in it?
If she was going for a Visa application to America, and they asked her to removes this same Hijabi at the gate, i know she would.
Write your exam and go home. That is what her Muslim sisters did That is what she was there to do, to write her exam and go home. It was the center that was stopped her from writing her exam, She wasn’t stopping herself. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 8:15am On Mar 31, 2023 |
izzou: She should ask JAMB that one.
Or she should ask other Muslim sisters that removed theirs. Maybe a memo was passed and she wasn't aware Lmao. But there’s no where on jamb website where it is listed that hijab or non hijab is a requirement for writing exam. You do know if it wasn’t mock exam, if it was the real exam and the lady didn’t do the exam, she has a legal ground to sue the hell out of Jamb? |
