I'm not sure I've even had any reason to mention Tinubu's daughter before. Ogbeni shut up and tuck your hypocrisy in. Was Tinubu daughter in anyway into politics or even in any political arena before your people began dragging her all over the TL and on instagram. APC people yen yen yen. Shey she called people mad, they will call her and her husband and children mad join. Oshisko. |

monerozi5590: Chief is very complicated oh. Who will pay for the expenses?. Like grasses, water and all. The govt will bear the burden of establishing the ranches. The cattle owners will pay to use it. It’s their individual business, they definitely should be ready to pay the cost to run the business. Not ruining peoples farm and killing farmers. |

monerozi5590: If you meet them and they start narrating how the government is neglecting them, yourself go come the reason am somehow.
Note. I am not making a case for the bad ones among them.
They hardly get financial support from the government even though they are all under Agricultural Business.
They will tell you government is concentrating on Agronomy and neglecting Livestock.
Is a very complex issue. Think Tank are yet to come up with a solution to this.
In all this, a situation where some herders will enter someone's farm to destroy it should be condemned and the herder should be made to pay for the loses. The world has moved beyond this open grazing. The govt needs to be deliberate about finding solutions to these issues and not just paying lip service to it. Open grazing needs to be absolutely prohibited all over the country. Create a ranch where cattle owners can graze their herds without resulting into body harms for farmers or loss of their farm lands. We cannot keep doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different result. As long as this open grazing is still legal, we will continue to have farmers and herders clash. |

raumdeuter: Cattle ownership has been an individual thing for long its not centralized. If you want to centralize it that means you will tell all cattle owners in a state or LGA to move to a central space,
Will all Cattle rearers in say Jigawa state move to once central location or different LGAs will have their own settlements From there who will be feeding them? Will the grass in that place be enough to feed or they will be buying grass
If Buying grass, then from where? If govt will be providing grass then will the owners be paying and those that cannot pay how will they run their business
There are multiple layers to these problems and I don't know a solution for now Yes they should move into a centralized space and get all their cattle identified. We can’t keep having issues where herdsmen trespass on people farms to feed their cattles and then maim the farmers because they stop them from laying waste to their farms in the name of feeding their cattle. Create a cattle settlement and make it mandatory for every cattle rearer to register and herd their cattles in this settlements. The govt will provide the grass and water while the owners of the cattle pay for using the settlement. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 5:58pm On Apr 07, 2023 |
raumdeuter: In Africa generally we have 1. Rapidly increasing population without the resources to feed them
2. Desertification where many land that used to be farming are no longer productive so many farmers have to leave their land to farm
3. Many who are livestock owners due to this same factors have to travel farther into other space to survive with their cattle
4. Instability due to religious extremism ideology and ethnic affiliation which is prevalent all over the world right now
These are some of the factors that no person can fix Your 2nd and 3rd point is what is causing most farmers and herdsmen clashes. The govt should just go ahead and create the cattle settlement and move all the cattle herders there where they pay certain charges for use of the settlement. |

If govt subsidized your school fees, then you should pay govt back
The other option is to go private school or travel abroad to pay what your fellow doctors pay That’s my point. I just don’t feel they need to pass a bill to that effect. They just need to restructure our educational system. |

One way or another, they are still drawing from tax payers money.
On the contrary, people like me are needed in HOR to make difficult but unavoidable decisions like this. So I go use my hard earned money use send my pikin go Babcock to study medicine and be paying millions of naira yearly and one govt will now say my child won’t get license to practice because they are subsidizing for those in public university. Itsrm: Nice spin
The fact that doctors are now leaving in large numbers has more to do with covid than APC. Countries were in serious crisis and labour shortage hence the need for medical professionals which made them relax migration rules.
Most of those doctors have always wanted to leave, the path just became easier with covid.
I'm sure no one is forced to study medicine, if you can't give 5 years back, look for other courses to study or go to those countries that appreciate skills to study.
Simple as ABC Will this bill apply to those that attend private university and paid premium money to become doctors or just for FG owned universities graduates? 😂 Them suppose flog you and those reps in the 10th assembly. |

izzou: We are saying the same thing
Anybody that can spend, say 10 million to study Medicine in Covenant, can comfortably go abroad.
If government schools begin to charge this equivalent, then 90% of the students will be at Walter Carrington immediately after their housemanship abi na homemanship
If you say Scholarship, you have narrowed the number, and we will have fewer doctors willing to commit for that 5 years Why waste 10m to study medicine here when you can japa and go study medicine outside the country? 😂 We are not saying the same thing. Even as cheap as university fees are currently, there are still thousands if not hundred of thousands that can afford it. Scholarship and educational loan will take care of it. That’s why i also included that their remunerations and welfare packages should be prioritized also. |
