90% safe to say the guy made it up. cheesy There is no other reference to this judgment except the one by Aondoakaa.
The constitution already settled it.

"Section 299 of the Constitution states that the provisions of the Constitution shall apply to the FCT, Abuja as if it were one of the States of the Federation and accordingly, the legislative powers, executive powers and judicial powers vested in the State Houses of Assembly, the Governor of a State and in the Courts of a State shall, respectively, vest in the National Assembly, the President of the Federation and in the FCT Courts and this vesting shall be read with such modifications and adaptations as may be necessary."

I know na. That is why I asked itsrm to dig up the 2007 presidential election result. 😛

Now larride I know you are an erudite fellow. Please answer this trick question. Why would the Supreme Court in 2008 be concerning itself with who won and who didn’t win 25% of votes in Abuja in the 2007 election when nobody knows who won what?

Do you have a link to Aondoakaa’s or interview or to that 2008 Supreme Court judgement?

I would be surprised if it’s true cos it makes no logical sense to give FCT voters inordinately more power than state voters.

One thing about these our electoral laws is that it seems our lawyers are either running a scam or are incompetent.
Why do we keep drafting ambiguous laws that are always open to various interpretations?
Na deliberate disinformation. It is clearly spelt out in the constitution that the FCT should be treated like a state in this scenario.

This disinformation is just to give people like donj a reason to keep on wailing.

Yea, because any Yoruba man that calls another Afonja is automatically an Omo ale...I get.

Yoruba ethnic nationalist, Yoruba conservative and Yoruba progressive (the funniest of the three grin), largely composed of those that want Oduduwa Republic/restructuring...at least as per ClubHouse parlance.
Yes. Only an omo ale will call another Yoruba man an Afonja when he knows clearly what people use that term as.

The % of those that's looking for Oduduwa republic is less than 1%. Nobody send Adeyinka grandson. Hes in jail currently in UK.

Yoruba progressives are the Awolowo and its followers which BAT is one of them.

I know you will not agree.

I'd be really interested in what you find, wrt the bolded.
Abi. Like I said that night, everything they are using as talking point against him, he presented it to them.

A Yoruba man, using Chinedu as its first name on his campaign poster for a senate seat in a Yoruba land, then when you want to contest for Governor, you remove the Chinedu away and put Gbadebo. When you now put it side by side with some of his post on Twitter and Facebook, you can see the own goal.

Then you go ahead and call a Yoruba man an Afonja when you clearly know how Yorubas react to being called an Afonja.

Lagos is a Yoruba land and will remain a Yoruba land. Moreover Aregbe became Governor in Osun while BAT mother is a bonafide Lagosian, say another one.

When will GRV talk about Ben Akabueze and the others non Yoruba in Lagos?

Lol, don't you think you should be condemining this first before justifying their actions?

The response to tribalism should ideally not be finger pointing to who started what first, because where we wan start from really?

The audio you posted, I see nothing wrong with it...this isn't the first time people have come after the political class at different levels of the country. Most persons growing up should have had friends or even themselves imagined how going after our political class will solve the problems of the country. Since when did the political class of Lagos become sacred cows that people can't be riled up to upend them using votes and punish them for their abuse of powers?
If anybody call my land a no man's land, I will equally remind them who owns the land and how they are visitors in the land. It is what it is. If you dont want to be reminded who owns Lagos at every turn, stop the "Lagos is a no man's land" nonsense.

So theres nothing wrong if I go to Anambra or Sokoto and say that we must win Anambra or Sokoto and chase them out of the state right? You have to actually show prove to back up with he says they will do to them if they dont win.

Maybe you should listen to the recordings again because this your defense is not defending.

I'm not sidestepping anything, I just dey tell you as e be, except you're active on clubhouse, I most likely know the history and current trajectory of tribal hate on ClubHouse more than you could ever learn from some solitary voice note.

And "we" seeing how it goes, APC losing Lagos in the presidential elections wasn't as a result of Igbos, and if they lose to GRV on the 11th, it won't be because of the Igbos...Yoruba votes alone will have APC win the elections in Lagos every single time, and comfortably too.
1. I am not on clubhouse.

2. You are sidestepping on the twitter space recording. The speaker clearly said they must win Lagos so that they can send them out of Lagos and own the land. That they have to win Lagos to be able to do business or even enter keke. This election is not the first time we are having election, when has the LASG govt or even Yorubas stopped anyone from doing business or even entering transportation in the state?

Nowhere in your post did you even attempt to condemn the recording you just hear as a campaign talk point. You dont know how provocative that recording is?

3. Whether Yorubas come out to vote APC alone and win is not the bone of contention, what happens after the election? Have we not been living together in harmony before?

You are clearly not seeing the seed that's being sowed into the ground.

Tribe shouldn't even be coming up as a talking point in a state election. Lagos is a Yoruba land and will remain so irrespective of what happens at the poll.

I'm not arguing with this at all. I'm basing my arguments on what was uploaded by INEC themselves.
Every single person that I know that voted in Lagos who I asked to check their PU result on the I-rev portal came back to say it tallied with what they counted at the polling unit.

This not a matter of trust me bro, call anyone you know in Lagos and ask them to check their PU result and compare with what they got on election day whether theres any difference.

If you think LP got 900k votes in Lagos and APC got 150k votes, I have a bridge to sell to you in ijede.

I doubt there'd be any such things sha, government hardly moves mad like that...but there's been lots of suggestions from APC handles that government should turn Alaba MArket to a motor park and computer village relocated and shop permits given only to Yoruba's. Rumours of computer Village being relocated has been there for a while sha, so if it does happen might not be completely related to the elections.
Computer village has been relocated already, people just didnt move to the new site and the govt just ignored enforcing the relocation.

I've heard worse on CLubHouse, a lot worse...was it not on club house that one idiot Maknun was saying Igbo's have bad blood and that Yoruba's sleeping with Igbo girls should only do so with bottles...and he was saying it with a picture of himself and his daughter on his DP. In fact, that GRV's wife's tweet on Yoruba ancestry that was misrepresented as being her wanting to use Yoruba's as guinea pigs originated from ClubHouse, and I was on stage when the tweet was first brought up there.

ClubHouse is mad house.

This GRV election matter has seen some terrible things being said, and most of the terrible things have come from those Yoruba ethnic nationalists in the APC camp.
