Doing united parapo to vote for your candidate against a perceived mutual is different from local politics o. Case in point Obi won Edo but APC claimed the lions share of Senate & HOR positions. After Ajimobi death, i expected him to have been at the forefront of opposition in the state consolidating his reach and loyalist but he was nowhere to be found until Folarin had the entire structure in his palm. It wasnt until congress before he realized that Folarin had hijacked APC Oyo away from him.

Opposition is hard, its even harder if you are now an absentee leader, your followers will follow the leader thats available.

If you had worked close with any politician, you will know that the true meaning of "structure" is criminal influence and not people's support.
