I don’t think anybody is saying Tinubu pushed drugs , what they are saying is he’s the bag man for a drug ring ; like he was enmeshed in a scandal of laundering money for the drug cartel. Like Hushpuppi is being accused of Laundering money for hackers and not an hacker himself .
This doesn't make sense. Tinubu was never indicted. He was investigated and he came out clean. I remember telling homestead that the 460k that was forfeited for most likely for Tax evasion and it turns out I was right.

How can you say someone launder money and the money was released to him, he wasn't indicted, didn't do jail term or even arrested.

Your hatred for the man has beclouded alot of you guys thinking big time.

That's it!

"The lion of Bourdilon" was aired by AIT on March 1st, 2015 and Tinubu sued AIT on March 6th, 2015 for dem action of character. (Yeah it took just 5 days for Tinubu's guys to Slam a lawsuit on AIT)

My thoughts on this is that it's easy to sue a TV station for a documentary in which most of things u say may not be backed with evidence. But how do u sue someone that has dropped copies of genuine court documents, evidence of arrests for money laundering and u claim the person is defaming Ur character?

Methinks that's why David Hundeyin has not received a court summon wherever he is.
Let a reputable news agency carry the news first and you will see what will follow.

I dont think that is right and I hope its not right

Its obvious Osun people like PDP or Adeleke. He was denied his mandate in 2018 and they gave it to him powerfully this time. It will be wrong to deny him based on court case again

Let him do his 4yrs, its not that far. Let electorates judge him after the 4yrs. If he doesn't perform they vote him out.

Also the APC has to learn from losing too. Especially in states where the support is close to 50-50
It's a pre election matter. It's a PDP v PDP case.

Federal High Court in Ondo (Not sure) already ruled that the primaries that produced Adeleke was done at the right place but with a wrong/forged delegate list and that the other guy primaries was done at the wrong place but with the right delegate list.

The guy took the case to Appeal for the Appeal court to announce him as the authentic candidate of the party instead of Adeleke since he was elected by the right delegate.

If the Appeal Court uphold the ruling of the FHC, it means PDP has no eligible candidate in the just concluded election and all the votes they got will be voided.

It was the same way APC lost Zamfara when the court canceled the primaries that produced all APC candidates. PDP candidates automatically won.

I expect the Adeleke to have settled the case since tho or maybe they will just give the guy anything he wants to withdraw the suit.

Mention just a State in South West, aside from Lagos, that AD won in 2003. When he warned them never to fall for OBJ Trap, did they take it serious?
It's not even the same issue and I'm surprised he's bringing that up.

Tinubu warned them never to trust OBJ but they did, he left the party for them and form his own party. Every single state that AD was in charge lost to PDP in 2003 and so they signed their own demise.

How hes using that against BAT is what I dont understand.

Aregbe obviously doesn't have the deep pockets those guys had. He governed a poor state like Osun and would not use his stolen wealth that he's managing to fund a new party or a fairly unknown existing party. He prefers frustrating his antagonists in the party and then taking over the party afterwards. It was a dangerous gamble that could've ended worse for him had Oyetola won re-election.

I'm not holding brief for him but I'm saying it's hypocrisy when u expect him to see how Tinubu has been enjoying the post of a Godfather for years and he should miss out on an opportunity like that himself
Do you know Aregbe calls the shot at Alimosho with his mandate group when the structure was handed over to him? Aregbe was a mini God in Alimosho. His word is gold. Tinubu gave him free hand to do whatsoever he wants

BlueRayDick:
But what exactly is it with APC in the southwest always labelling people who do not bend to their whims and caprices as betrayers? I've been seeing APC supporters on social media calling Aregbe a betrayer just like they did Osinbajo prior to the presidential primaries.

I mean I don't get! These same people acknowledged the fact that Oyetola was never Aregbe's choice in 2018. This guy wanted to have a say in choosing his successor but had no choice but to let the party leader's cousin get the ticket in a controversial manner. It was obvious Oyetola was never going to rate Aregbe since he wasnt cool with his emergence as the governor.

So fast forward to 2022, Aregbe was not having it and supported someone else who eventually lost the primary to Oyetola. Now he chose to work against Oyetola knowing his 2nd term was not going to benefit him in any way just like the the first term..... And then he's being labeled betrayer.

I mean Tinubu practically selects who becomes governor in Lagos ever since he left, but he would not allow any other person weild such power for reasons best known to him; not even Aregbe his age long ally.

Does it mean anybody that dares to dream to be a powerful person like Tinubu automatically becomes a betrayer? Shey na cult?
If anyone should be able to sacrifice anything, it should be Aregbe. He was given control of AC base in Alimosho, took him to Osun and talk with Baba Bisi Akande to hand over his structure to him in 2007 to become Gov. Even those that had reservation about his candidacy still went ahead to support him and ensured he became Gov. Immediately after his tenure, he was made a minister of the nation. Please how has the party not been fair to him?

He says he doesn't want Oyetola and that he was imposed on him, did everyone want him when Tinubu made sure everyone step down for him in 2007? Oyetola has even done 4yrs, what's hard in negotiating a deal that ensures the next candidate of the party comes from his camp?

He betrayed the party that has given him everything he has anount to politically and I hope he get whatever comes to him.

Adeleke family is loved in Osun, because of Isiaka Adeleke. He did well when he was Governor. PDP knew it and went for it twice. Ogunbiyi ought to be the flagbearer of PDP, but that would have been walkover for them.

Also, if the Contest is between Aregbesola and Ademola.... I am 100% sure APC would win. Oyetola is too quiet and stubborn. It takes him nothing to reconcile with Aregbe, but seems he's banking on his Uncle to win second term.

He's never popular, not is he loved by the People. When Oyinlola was Governor, he used to hold a monthly media chat with the People of Osun. Aregbe did same, but the Dummy cares less.

Ain't pity him at all. Let him park well jhaare.

Imole de!!!!
Oyetola is media shy. It's one of his nemesis but it's not true that he didn't try to reconcile with Aregbe, infect they did several times but Aregbe already decided it's his way or the highway. Even last week or so, he was invited for another round on reconciliation talk and he refused again.

If a man doesn't want to reconcile, you leave him alone. I wish them best of luck in opposition.

Let's see how Adeoti, Saleem Najeem, Kolapo Alimi and the rest will further their ambition in opposition with a powerful ruling family like Adeleke.

Modified: So Adeleke is partially fulfilling Aregbe's plan.

I get it now[/color]
If you look at it in some ways. Adeoti from Iwo is Aregbe preferred candidate,

The issue go back to 2014 when Aregbe was looking for 2nd term, made a lot of concessions to break Omisore group which included Isiaka Adeleke. Isiaka Adeleke decamped to APC with arrangement that if power goes back to Osun west, Isiaka will get the ticket. Isiaka was a former Gov of the state and the senator of Osun West then. Unfortunately Isiaka died in 2016 or so, Ademola Adeleke (The Gov elect) asked for APC ticket to replace his brother in the senate, Aregbe refused and pushed him out of the party.

Ademola Adeleke decamped to PDP and won the senate seat and the rest is history.

It's funny the analysis I have been seeing here. Anybody that know Adeleke family in Osun will know they are well loved in both Ede LG and the rest of the state. It's always going to be a very tight race running against that powerful family.

That family has produced 3 Senators and now 2 Governors.

This is unfair to Oyetola. The single school uniform was a ill thought plan by Aregbe that generated alot of controversy. The people were clearly against it and it was right for Oyetola to reverse it.

Aregbe merged alot of schools together, merge Christian's and Muslim missionary schools together, merge schools from LG together and students had to trek or go long distance to their new school. Another ill informed plan.

Oyetola completed alot of roads that Aregbe started, his problem was he didn't go ahead to collect loan the same way Aregbe did for infrastructural development but instead chose to build with what the state generate and their allocation. He reversed the half payment of salaries that Aregbe started and didn't owe a single salary during his tenure. What he owed were arrears from Aregbe time.

Oyetola is a fine gentleman who refuses to invest in PR to market his work.

Tinubu and SW APC can not afford to lose any state in the SW during the presidential elections, it will be very dangerous. It’s less than one year to the presidential elections, this result has serious implications and has to worry APC.

PDP will definitely look to capitalize on this victory in getting strong numbers from Osun state, that is if they don’t win it entirely. No APC supporter should pretend like this isn’t a big problem because it is and if not handled quickly may complicate things.

Buhari no dey even shake body sef, man has been indifferent about the election since the primaries was over. It would be interesting to see how he handles presidential campaigns, especially in the the North.

SW APC have to get their house in order first. This one na real blow and it is not going away anytime soon.
State election is always like this especially when you have a powerful family like the Adelekes as the opponent.
