How?

philfearon:
You are clinging to the explanation given in the movie as if it's canon, it's not.
Removing any of the stones in its timeline automatically changes the events that would have happened if it was not removed. Putting the stones back does not still guarantee that the timeline you tried to save will happen, and there is no guarantee that you will not accidentally change the timeline you are trying to save. It's a paradox!
In the current MCU timeline, the Space Stone was in Asgard and was given to Thanos by Loki to save Thor. However, as was shown in the movie, in 2012 Loki stole the Space Stone and disappeared during the time travel heist. Now, if Loki were to take it back to Thanos(seeing as it was the plan), Asgard and Thor would not have met Thanos, and no-one would have known about Thanos' plans save for Loki. Asgard would not have been destroyed, and Thanos would still be playing from the shadows.
Now, did placing the stone back in 1970 change the timeline in which Loki stole the stone seeing as it was taken before Iron Man travelled back in time?
If anything, can't you see that the battle of New York is now useless? Because Loki achieved his purpose?

Time travel is bullshît, you can never get it right!
Did you watch the scene of Ancient one and Banner? When Ancient one was telling him the consequence of taking the stones away? They explained it that returning back the stones reverts the timeline back to the way it was and nothing will be changed. That’s basically what happened.

I will go with their explanation of how the time travel works than go with my own explanation since no one has actually embark on time travel before.

I’m saying according to what they did in the movie, the time travel make sense.

They tried but they entangled the whole thing at some points...

Im just nit picking tho...the movie was great and i enjoyed it im just backing iuwe up
iuwe is using the time travel in Flashpoint as the standard which time travel must adhere to and he’s wrong.

Even the time travel in Flashpoint is flawed. The moment you go back in time to change the past, the future you come from cease to exist. That means when Barry saved his mother from dieing, Flash seize to exist and there’s no future for him to return to as he has changed the course his entire life will follow.

If the mcu timeline is unchanged what the hell happened to cap? Is he not meant to be unchenged too since he kept the stone back?
That’s one plot hole I can’t understand. I’ve been trying to understand what happened.

Maybe they just wanted to retire Cap by fire by force.

Lol...i dont want to argue unnecessarily grin

Im just saying they made up a whole bunch of time rules that suited them and followed it only when it was convenient...dazol im saying man...
They were consistent with their time rules though, you have to give it to them.

Prof Hulk said you can’t change the past and they stick to it.

yes and the MCU timeline is unaffected
I don’t understand. Someone that watch the end of the movie and see that Asgard is still destroyed, Dr Strange is still sorcerer supreme and the likes.

They want to look for a way to ridicule the movie, let them knock themselves out.

Gamora and loki didnt die...loki escaped with a freaking space stone bruh and gamora ran away....quill is going to look for her...ur theory shoots itself right in the foot
grin

It’s obvious you just want to argue unnecessarily.

I ask you a simple question, why is Asgard still destroyed? How come those that were snapped back to life remembered what happened before th snap?

Answer me.
TV/Movies › Re: Marvel Cinematic Universe by larride(m): 8:47am On May 01, 2019
pu7pl3:
Loki cant remain dead cos he clearly escaped with the tesseract....

Going by this ur theory that means gamora would also remain dead
Loki is dead bro.

Gamora remains dead also.

Where do you think Gamora disappeared too? grin

Why does Asgard remain destroyed?

Dr. Strange, Spider-Man and the rest remembered what happened before the snap. How is that possible?

The timeline in MCU is fixed. They don’t go about changing the future from the past. Everything that happened before Endgame still happened. They went to the past to take the stone to undo the snap, they didn’t go to the past to stop Thanos from getting the stones. That’s why when they undo the snap, they went back to return the stones to where they took it so everything still went ahead the way it went.

Pay attention to details.
TV/Movies › Re: Marvel Cinematic Universe by larride(m): 8:30am On May 01, 2019
Marvel surely have raised the standard to another level.

Endgame is my best cinematic experience yet. Even Bae became a believer. grin

Take a bow Thanos, definition of a true villain.

I saw Far From Home trailer, damn I can’t wait for July 5.

but the future changed after they went back in time. They went back to collect the stones and the future changed. Thanos didn't wield the stones anymore instead he came to collect it all from iron Man. Anyway. I still understand that movie. But just want to clear u small.
No. The future did not change.

Asgard still remain destroyed

Loki remain dead

Those that was snapped back to life remembered what happened before the snap.

The future did not change. Pay attention when watching movies pls.

I get what he is saying...since traveling back and forth through time doesnt affect anything that means the thanos they snapped out of existence was futile cos there would still be 2015 thanos or 2016 thanos roaming around still looking for the stones...thats the flaw he is pointing out i think
No. It seems the guy is just arguing for arguing sake.

When the Avengers went back in time to get the stones, their aim is to undo the snap and bring back those that Thanos wished away. Thanos is already dead at the beginning so undoing the snap won’t bring Thanos back.

The timeline in Endgame is the current timeline, all other timelines are alternative timelines. Prof Hulk already said you can’t go back in time to change the past because the future is set already.

If Thanos 2014 had not find Nebula 2023 and she opened the portal for him to come to 2023, Thanos would still have gotten the stones and wipe out half of the world and in 2018 the avengers undo the snap in 2023. Going back in time doesn’t change the past.

When Thanos 2014 came to the main timeline 2023, he had no idea of whatever he had done before except for what he heard on Nebula memory scan.

That is why after Hulk used the stone to wish away Thanos and his army, the timeline remained the same. Asgard still remain destroyed, Loki still remain dead. The only difference was that those that was snapped away came back but they had the memory that something happened and they were turned to dust.

The time travel makes sense and realistic.

His attitude on the bench or huh
Cos I didn't see him play huh
There was a video of him circulating on Twitter before the start of the match against Chelsea. Everyone was doing warm up and Martial was just standing there with the ball at his feet looking at the others do their warm up.

You could tell from the body language that he was so disinterested.

i don't really see united's games but i saw your last 3.and a keeper doesn't have to pass short passes all the time, the long pass is another option and besides low punt is used to effectively pass the ball a long distance with a low dip,i.e not too high.
So you don’t see his passes to Shaw or Young whenever they are free? Or you just want him to pass for passing sake?

I do know what i am talking about,i am just wondering why you think you can only know if a keeper has the low punt trajectory skill if he plays with a ball playing cb.newsflash becker was not playing with a ball playing cb back in as roma.
I never said ball playing CB is the reason why DDG doesn’t make low passes. I’m telling you we have never for once play a system that require passing out from the back.

Nothing else to add from me.

Of those 3 I’d pick TAA cos He’s contributed in no small way to Liverpool’s ‘success’ this season. Rice comes close but I feel the English press hypes him too much.
Yes, TAA is most likely my top pick but Jota and Neves do have a strong case than Rice in my opinion.

The English press are the England players undoing, they hype them too much that these players lose focus easily and start playing as if the world is already at their feet. Only Kane has repaid that much hype among these current crop of mediocre in my opinion.

Actually De Gea Does not have the low punt trajectory pass, but he does have the high punt.secondly,a sweeper gk does not need a ball playing cb to show that he has the "low punt skill"

You can say the same for Zinchenko. He hardly contributed.

LooL. I forgot about Jota. Didn’t even consider him.

Who is TAA?
True, I think Foden is in with a better shout than Zincheko.

The top 3 could be Neves/Jota, TAA and Rice.

Your bewilderment is the reason I added question marks after their names. Zinchenko too.

But to answer your question, for their contribution to their team with respect to others in that category.

Of course, those two whose inclusion raised your eyebrows plus Zinchenko should be below the rung in comparison with Rice. And maybe Richarlison.
Maybe it’s my anger against Rashford that’s getting the better part of me grin

Just imagine that little cûnt winning any award ehn, na to demand 250k or 300k be the next thing.

Odoi has done nothing for Chelsea over the course of the season to even be considered for any award.

Declan Rice
Zinchenko
TAA
Reuben Neves
Diego Jota

Those are the ones I will nominate.

Seems like a sorta consolation to Sterling. It’s likely he misses out on the player of the year award.

The rule should be limited to younger players though. It doesn’t feel like Sterling is a young EPL player, given that he’s been playing in the league for the last, what, 5 years?

That award should be for outstanding youngies. Contenders this season should be players like Declan Rice, Richarlison, Rashford? Hudson-Odoi? Zinchenko?
Rashford? Odoi?

For what exactly?

I've watched him play since the days of Fergie nah, his passing hasn't really been good.
Until we start playing a possession based system and they have worked on it in training with actual ball playing CB alongside him, you can’t say his passing isn’t good.

Lmao!!! He won't play for someone like Pep, because that one doesn't care much about how excellent a shot stopper you are, he's more bothered with passing ability.

I had always mentioned this to friends even when DDG was in form. His footwork and reaction to set pieces have always been weakpoints.

It's quite unfortunate anyway, had it been Rashford and Co. used their heads well, DDG won't be talked about this much.

That's why I just laugh when folks try to exonerate Mourinho's faults by talking about how he finished second with this team, forgetting that DDG won player of the year that season.
At what time in DDG career in Man Utd have we played possession based football that require us passing out from the back that makes you think he doesn’t have passing abilities?

You have formed your opinion about the young man already, nothing else to say.

Work needs to be done on that attack next season. This is what happens when in recent years, u've been fine tuned to rely on ur GK to win games instead of ur strikers.
The error happened since the 43rd min. Yes the error was costly but what exactly did the attack do for the remaining 50mins plus?
