You are not getting the point raised by OP. Schools know they must pay tax and any that does not comply can be closed. The issue here is that Fayose is now asking pupils and students to also pay #1,000 as tax for going to school irrespective of what the private schools are paying as tax. I have a family friend there and this is a confirm story.

By the way, you talk about the school being substandard. Please ask yourself how many parents in Ekiti can pay the fee of a school with standard structures. And mind you, structures don't determine how good a school is most times. Some schools are just living on names and structures, the students and pupils are dullard.

I am sorry for the late update, I got home late yesterday and slept off immediately, you know the stress of relocation. I have finally moved, I cut down 20k from the rent to pay the landlady in a month time, the truck was 12,500 and I was able to paint it and do mosquito nets. I am very grateful to all those who have contributed morally and financially, from recharge cards to N500 cash to N50,000. This is a period I can never forget in my life, My parents are late and no support from any family members, my wife's situation is similar to mine, the only person we have is her aged mother who lives with us and also depend on us, how could I have done this without the intervention of the God we serve through you all. God's mercies and favor shall never depart from your homes. God will continue to bless you all.

This information is to alert once again all NL that fraudsters are at their games again. I got a call from a guy who said he is an Honorable working with Ebonyi state government and there is a contract they intend to give out. 400 rooms hostel for males and females in one of the state higher institutions. The main story (started since yesterday) is that for me to be given the project (which they have already concluded to give my company) I will need to part with 156k. 21k for 3 years of no tax payment (contract stamp by them to suffice), 10k for contract form and 125k for registration with Ebonyi state ministry of works as a state recognized contractor.

The annoying part is that I am expected to come with the money tomorrow to Ebonyi state in cash so that all the documents can be processed immediately. All thanks to MTN for free credit, I have been pulling their legs by agreeing to all their demands. I am even taking the first "imaginary flight" from Lagos to Enugu Eneme tomorrow to hand them the cash (If I hear!!!).
