Politics / Re: Abacha Died 17years Ago Today...What Do You Remember Him For??? by Larrylarex(m): 9:00am On Jun 08, 2015 |
Because of fuel scarcity then people invented a sawdust powered stove it was called 'stove abacha' after the military tyrant. I remembered that he gave Nigerians the option of returning to democracy only if he would be allowed to contest the elections and metamorphosise from a military dictator to a civilian president come October 1, 1998. But God disposes his plans less than 4 months to fruition . in fact, many believed that still allow a transition come October. I was still a boy then but could vividly recall the joy i felt 17 years ago upon hearing from my palito earphones that Abacha is dead. I ran back home with a joyful heart to celebrate the good news with people at home cos i was sent on an errand but did not deliver it before running back. it was that bad then that even little children felt it. We're expecting Abiola 's mandate to be returned to him before the unfortunate incident that happened in 7/7/98. So sad |

Investment / Investment Opportunity In The Mining Sector by Larrylarex(m): 10:54am On Mar 21, 2015 |
Our family land in Ogun state is very rich in limestone and I'm willing to start mining activities on the land. However, I'm not sure of how to go about it, the paper works, the land is not surveyed would that be necessary before mining the resources on it? How can I get buyers for the limestone, how do I get employees to work on the land, are there other professionals apart from Geologists that would be needed? All these I want to know and I'm also calling on whomever had knowledge about this sector or/and may be willing to partner with the family to get this done to pls contact me via franclarex008@gmail.com or 07037118718. So that we can discuss business and 'chop' together instead of these resources wasting away. I'll appreciate any assistance/ information provided here to make this a reality |

Education / Re: Meet The State That Have 15 University In Nigeria by Larrylarex(m): 4:35pm On Mar 14, 2015 |
Noloss:Gbam! Same here, having gone through the length and breadth of the state(my state if origin actually) I made this bold statement years ago that OGUN STATE NOT ONLY HAVE TGE HIGHEST NUMBER OF UNIVERSITIES BUT HIGHER INSTITUTIONS IN GENERAL. the list of the polytechnics in the state is almost endless, I mean which other state have more than 3 state polytechnics if in not mistaken I think apart from MAPOLY, Ojere, there are four other state owned ICT polytechnics in Itori, Igbesa,Saapade and I think Mowe(not sure). There is also Allover Central Polytechnic in Sango/Ota and Grace Polytechnic in Ijebu. Those are the two private polytechnics I know (may be more) All in all, Ogun State alone should have close to 30 higher institutions ... interesting 1 Like |
