Business / Re: Entrepreneurs Going To NYSC Camps For Business by Larrylarex(m): 12:29am On Aug 01, 2014
GogetterMD: Any plateau state in the house?
I'm a batch A corp member serving in Jos, I hope to be on camp for one of the NYSC lectures. Mangu orientation camp is one of the best in the country, but the temperature there is slightly colder than California o! So get your cardigan, head warmer and gloves handy. Even in march, the temperature averages 24degree celsius, so take note

saintneo:

1 ball only.

Let the incorrectly labeled boxes be WW, BB, WB. Since the boxes are labeled incorrectly, then WB contains 2W or 2B, WW and BB can contain 1W1B or two balls of the same colour. Consequently, we pick one ball from WB only.

If we pick a black ball from WB, then WB contains 2B, WW contains 1W1B and BB contains 2W.
However, if we pick a white ball from WB, then WB contains 2W, WW contains 2B and BB contains 1W1B.

Gbam! This is the answer, I came late, I solved it but want to know if someone has gotten it right before commenting and here he is! The minimum number you really have to pick is just one from the one labelled as containing black and white if you pick white there, that means the two marbles are white. The remaining two contained black&white and black but they were labelled black and white, since they're labelled incorrectly, the one labelled as having white will actually have black and the one labelled black will contain black&white marbles
Ces't ce clear?

oloto: Let the house continue. But it would be better to remove "Prospective" from the topic since our call up numbers have been released, hence, mobilization is sure.
Even when you get to camp, 'prospective' will not be removed until Thursday 7th august when you'll be sworn in
Education / Re: Six (6) Most Expensive Secondary Schools In Nigeria (alarming School Fees) by Larrylarex(m): 8:55pm On Jun 28, 2014

The amount paid by One student in these schools can be used to award scholarship to entire secondary schools in a Local Government Area. There are certain amounts that are just too much to give to another person in the name school fees for education.

Below is the list of six (6) Most Expensive secondary Schools in Nigeria and their School Fees per year.

Here is the list arranged from the six to the highest paying school.….
Please don’t misunderstand this, it is NOT the sum of school fees of the entire students, it is just for a single students… lol
Enjoy the view

6. Dowen College, Lekki
They charge N2,000,000 annually for a boarding student and N1,250,000 for a day student.

5. Chrisland College, Ikeja
They charge as high as N2,000,000 annually. Fees can be paid annually or termly but on or before the first day of school. These include registration, tuition deposit, accommodation and feeding.

4. Atlantic Hall
They charge as much as N2,270,000 for a student

3. Greensprings school, Anthony
They charge a total of N3,185,200 annually for a boarding student and N1,925,200 for a day student

Literature / Re: Love Chemistry 101 by Larrylarex(m): 8:42pm On Dec 03, 2013
Nice storyline, but, please decide if this story is a reported one or not, also you have to work on your tenses and capitalization, you knew that common nouns are supposed to start with capital letters don't you? I also notice that you do make use of some abbreviations, like, d, u, etc, that to me is not a feature if a good author. Finally, I'll implore you to work on your punctuations. Like others had said, I had not noticed any significant improvement in your write up, but I'll keep following for a while hoping to see changes. I hope I won't be dissapointed

Like you, I also lost my Dad on 6th October, 2012... It was very very painful, cos he was my best friend(no gainsaying here). And as a tribute to him one year after(today) I dedicated a poem to him, It's right now in the family section titled: An Elegy To My Dad

Family / An Elegy To My Dad by Larrylarex(m): 7:32am On Oct 06, 2013
[color=#006600]On October 6th 2012 I lost my Dad(I call him BEST DAD) to death... 1 year after, I decided to write this poem for him, as a form of tribute. It was just an expression of my feelings, it might not necessarily be proffessional because I'm an Engineer and not a Poet. Thanks for reading:

Dear Dad,
It's 365 days that you died,
It's on my mind throughout the days,
Though it seems like yesterday.
Life indeed is like a mist,
But why now you cease to exist?
Why do you come so quickly, death?
That we have to put him in the earth?
Why does his Life end?
When indeed he's my best friend?
If a Man dies, can he live again?
And to the ones he love remove the pain?
So many questions needing an answer,
I got not any and it made me sour.
For the last 365 days in my dreams,
Thoughts about you flows in like a stream.
How I remembered the time you lived!
How I cherished the love we shared!
How I valued the words you spake!
I recall your smile cos they ain't fake.
I love you Dad and I missed your aid,
I'll love you on since the love can't fade.
For the past one year I've always been mourning,
Remembering your love every other morning.
I missed you so much Dad!
My siblings did too,
Your delectable wife missed you,
Friends and acquintances missed you,
The one you helped missed you too,
Summarily, WE ALL MISS YOU!
Rest on in She'ol,
Till you meet us all,
In the Paradise!
Farewell Dad!
Adieu Mon Perre!

gerrardomendes: 4.0? Tot first class was 4.5. Or is it only in unical?
It's like saying someone graduated with 5.0, impressive innit? And to think that in the grading system employed here, 70% is AB not A. A actually started from 75% and above, so if he had ever scored even 74% he wont make that grade

It's 4.0 out of a possible 4.0! They don't use the same grade as Nigerian Universities, but that is the system employed in most Polytechnics in Nigeria. Wow! Really impressive! A CGPA of 4.0 meant that he graduated with straight alphas! Never had an AB or a B! But wait o, that kind thing fit happen for Nigeria? Laelae! Bad belleism too dey worry we proffessors!

i honestly do not have photos. You hey the most hurting thing is that the men who wer attracted to me before where old and married so i was always their side thing and i hated that but i was so desparate for love. All people who are around my age go for the different kinda girls. i am so tired of feeling left out and i am tired of being someone's side thing or dirty little secrete. I want a man who will be proud of me and show me off. I just want him to feel proud when seen with me in public.

If you want someone who will be proud of you, you must be proud of yourself first.... i don't think you are. You have to remember that nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent, imagine! You refuse to take pictures simply because you felt that big=ugly! That's a very wrong notion, change your mindset first and evry other thing will fall to their normal position... and please dont be desperate for love, there's someone out there who loves you just the way you are!
