@ jazzsoul

It was really nice reading through your challenging note jazzsoul. i actually believe you have a showroom here in nigeria. i actually look forward into owning one someday soon. The cost of living in cotonou is definately low but
mind you this highly depends on exchange rate. Moreover, i am sure you know that Naira at the moment has lost its potential value which has brought some devalued image to our currency. anyway with respect to negative terms about
buying cars from cotonou, i actually try to explain it to customers. There is always a negative side of every positive issue, meanwhile in a situation where the positive is more than the negative, then its advicable you settle for it. Mind
you that most cars also sold around places in lagos most expectially bagger, they come down to cotonou to come and get some of there cars. When you are buying a duty car. I must tell you that you would be having duty paid on it like
you asked if my customers pay duty for there cars, and also i am sure you havent gotten cars from cotonou before rather than hear talks about buying cars from cotonou. When you buy car in cotonou, you would pay for the
clearing of the car through there customs there in cotonou, then also pay our customs here. if you are buying from oversea like you stated that you import your cars. you sure pay there customs there and also pay for our customs
here. that is the way it is. the cars are cheaper compare to buying them in nigeria. Meanwhile i am not taking business of for people who have showrooms. i must tell you i am looking into having mine also before the month of january runs out. You talked about stolen cars in cotonou. I am not saying a situation of that isn't occuring because i can remember a time during last year when some FBI officers and some people came all the way from the United state and said they are actually in search of some particular cars that were stolen from the state and have checked through there what soever record that it was shipped into the western part of africa. they came into cotonou and searched the whole park. I am sure they came to nigeria to do the same as well. so Just don't use that word to discourage customers about cotonou. The only fear customers i believe they have about buying cars from cotonou is the issue of cars been seized if they have gotten it. and that is the reason they pay duty for there cars, which ease there mind. and for a situation where the
person is buying a car that isn't a duty car or the customer doesn't have the funds for duty. then he/she has is car registered and engraved. Mind you my daddy is a retired Custom Officer who retired as the CSC APAPA. so he is
always helpful with advice and guidance and verification of all Duty papers i receive. Anyway i hope someday soon, you would give importing of cars from cotonou a try and would start getting your cars from there.

I have a business ideal that would help boost and improve your selling of cars in Lagos, if you are willing to learn it, you sure can contact me and we could have a meeting and i could disclose this to you and you would see how your profit would maximize.

@carlinks,
the exchange rate is pretty high at the moment and if you would be getting that, with respect to the current exchange rate, you would have a budget of less than 1.3million naira with with custom duty inclusive.
AutosRe: *** Luxury Lovers *** I Think I Have Ideal A Unique Car For You All by larryshow4(op): 9:13pm On Dec 29, 2008
The Sienna 2004model and Honda Oddysee almost fall under the same price range cos they have almost the same features, just that one is Toyota and the Other is Honda. And they are both very good and loving Car companies. Meanwhile if you are willing to get the Toyota Sienna 2004 model FULL OPTION. It depends on what the market is like and what the exchange rate is like. you can eventually see it for at most 6.3million cfa. This same car, you can find it at 6million cfa, or say 5.5million cfa. depends on how neat and how clean you want it to be. That is the reason i say that the market isn't stable. but at worst, you would get it for anything less than 1.9million naira with Custom duty. A VERY CLEAN ONE. The worst comes to the worst you would find it for 1.950million naira With respect to the current exchange rate, if it were to be that exchange is at a balance rate of 250cfa, 260cfa, 265cfa. you would get this car, FULL OPTION for at worst 1.7million naira with custom duty inclusive. Anyway, if you are willing and ready to get the buses, Just give me a call, make out an appointment date and we go together to cotonou. All you need do is just hold a deposit of 10,000naira like i always go through the payment process and we deposit for any favourable option of yours at your price range and we get payment done the next day and expect your car 4days maximum after the day of complete payment.

I have my contact number above for intending buyers.

Thought i heard Chrysler has been bailed out? anyway, they are good companies and make good loving cars, like i told you all NL that the car goes for 12million cfa, 13million cfa and if at most is very expensive, you find it for 14million cfa. The most painful aspect is naira that is loosing its value, which is giving room for all this raising in other currency.

@che guvera,

Regarding the Sienna 04 model you talked about. You want a very unique one, that wouldn't be too hard to find. I tried calling your two lines, but they weren't going through so i would still keep trying so as to discuss with you.
AutosRe: I Need A Good Tokunboh Volkswagen Vanagon by larryshow4(m): 12:47pm On Dec 27, 2008
when you don't want to buy a car that you would change the engine and at the same time change the tires and the body, if you have to buy toks. from cotonou, you would have about 500-600k and its mostly not found like that, and if you want the one of diesel its cheaper. but not as cheap to 200-250k.
AutosRe: *** Luxury Lovers *** I Think I Have Ideal A Unique Car For You All by larryshow4(op): 12:25pm On Dec 27, 2008
The chrysler Cross-fire goes for about anything less than 3.6million naira or less with custom duty paid on it. meanwhile its because of the xchange rate, if you would be getting it when xchange is lesser, you would get the 2005/2006 model for about less than 3.2million naira with custom duty. The Cross-fire has its boot spoiler coming out if you want and in if you want.

AutosRe: I Need Either Golf 3 Or Golf 4 Gti by larryshow4(m): 3:59pm On Dec 26, 2008
yeah you can, but with the current xchange rate, you would get it for a budget of about 580k down to your doorstep, but you might luckily get it for about 550k to your doorstep depend on market this time around.
AutosRe: Welcome Back Package.Free Tracker for 1st 10 Customers over 2003Model From Cot. by larryshow4(op): 3:44pm On Dec 26, 2008
@gridlock,
Regarding the issue of custom duty. They run custom duty on vehicles that are below the duty duration. the price is actually no much difference with it. The customs would really be happy getting to see that you pay for the duty. Then if you are paying for the dutable car. there isn't any difference between paying duty for a non-duty car and also for a duty car. they have the same duty certificate. what they want to check is that you legally get the car into the country.

@irony,
I would get to find you the cost of the toyota literate in cfa and get back to you. Meanwhile, toyota products are really expensive, i have to be honest with you.

@salam12,
With respect to the current xchange rate, of 285cfa, you can get a very very clean golf 4 with 4 cylinder etc. you would get it for less than 1.25million naira you would get a 2002 model upward. meanwhile if you are ready to get it, you can contact me and we can go to cotonou together and get to have you look around and make a choice. What is your budget?
AutosRe: I Need Either Golf 3 Or Golf 4 Gti by larryshow4(m): 2:55pm On Dec 24, 2008
That is not the last price, you might eventually end up not spending up to that, cos you are actually going to choice from multiple choice in cotonou. We would go together for you to go and make the option yourself. All it would just cost you is just to make out time to go together. and when you see what you want at the favorable price, then its calculated with estimate of getting down to your residence. my number 070837676598. if you actually thinking of a golf with no airbag and a/c, with budget of 520k down to your doorstep. and without a/c like 480k down to your doorstep and with 2airbag and a/c, which is 96/97model, with budget of like 630k down to your doorstep and without a/c that model, say budget of like 600k down to your doorstep or less. i have calculated this cost for you with respect to present xchange rate of 285cfa, which means that 1million cfa is equivalent to 285,000naira.
meanwhile if my estimates suits you. you can contact me. Remember, the prices are not fixed. depends on xchange. its an affair that xchange would go down now rather than go up, so therefore, the prices are liable to fall.

1.6Million Naira for a 2003 EOD. hummmm, you are so sure of getting it in cotonou though. cos the last i got for a customer was 1.7 with custom duty and it is full option leather seat and factory alloy. Nothing you have to do rather than start driving your car. but with the level of exchange rate at the moment. If only you can kinda wait a bit let the currency drop meanwhile. give a thought about cotonou. you would get but might not be Leather and might not have alloy along, but who knowns the market is not predictable. might get it for 1.5million naira.

From personal experience, having lost about 1m from a trip to Lome to buy a car, i would like to advice anyone reading this post to , MOVE ON!!!!!!!!!don't BUY A CAR FROM TOGO OR BENIN!!!!! ur better getting one from the US or here in Nigeria

JUST MY ADVICE ANYWAY!!!
Sorry for the bad experience you went into, but meanwhile, you can't have an over-all judgement of such. You actually fell into the hands of wrong ones. that is common around the world. That is the reason so far some people rather prefer building integrity and trust. that is all it takes to go down with someone and go and buy car. i hope you wouldn't end up telling your story that you went to cotonou all alone to go and try to buy car. cos you have to be 100% carefull. that is the reason we dealers assist you in getting cars from cotonou. FOR SECURITY AND SAFETY REASONS. Sorry for the bad experience. i would await and look forward to hearing your story. Might be lesson for some uncareful buyers.

Prices of cars from cotonou are not fixed and stable. They depend on some conditions which i want you to know. It depends on

(1) Exchange Rate
(2) Luck at the Market
(3) You might eventually luckily get some cars you just have to fix some few things and get it cheaper and also you might be getting one that you don't need to do anything with the car. Meanwhile, just know that for any prices i drop on here. They are varieable. Might be a difference of like 100,000naira or more and can also increase. meanwhile, when you go down and you see what you want to buy. But am assuring you. YOu are getting the best and the greatest Price.

@hammer777

     With respect to the Honda EOD, depends on what you want but meanwhile if you have a budget of 1.7million - 1.8million Naira you would get a VERY CLEAN one that you just drive home and drive without fixing anything and with custom duties inclusive. I actually got that for a customer before. Meanwhile you are assured of getting it cheaper or expensive depending than the budget but should be between the range depending on what the xchange range and how loaded the market is. Meanwhile you can give me a call when you are ready to arrange.

@john 3:16
   I am sorry and apologise for the late response to your advert, i actually have been off network because of delieveries of cars i got for some customers across the state. For a 1999/2001 CRV, you are rest assured of getting a 4cylinder with a very lovely and clean engine and probably with a leather seat for a budget of less than 1.2million to 1.3 million with custom duty. Meanwhile when you might be lucky to find it for 1million. The market isn't stable like i always say around.

@ keph,
     For the Mitsubushi Galant or Lancer 1999, if you have a budget of less than 800,000Naira it should be delievered to your door step meanwhile the prices can either rises or be lower than the budget i have given to you. your budget for the explorer 2000 can be less than 1.1million with the custom duty inclusive. meanwhile prices are not stable.

@Nortel,
    you would get a very clean one at that budget price and probably lower than that budget meanwhile, i asked you to give me a call or drop your number but i never got it. i would await to hear from you soon regarding that. When are you ready and intending to get it.

@randa, @flakybet, @serty1, @felifeli, @chyemma,

I wrote you guys an email.

@miketomi,
  Thanks jare, i am actually always consious about my reputition on here, I am sure my customers have so many good things to drop about me. just that when they keep telling you, that you are the best, it would make you relax, so i hope to still get to do the best to be of greatest reputition on here.
AutosRe: Welcome Back Package.Free Tracker for 1st 10 Customers over 2003Model From Cot. by larryshow4(op): 2:19pm On Dec 20, 2008
@ayodeji1, @Nairalanders.
i strongly agree with what you have said, all i am trying to put out is that you are actually buying a car lesser and almost at the same price range, meanwhile you are not buying either an accidented car over there in abroad being shipped down to africa, i am not saying you can't see them in cotonou, cos MOST of them are being brought into the country for us to drive. and we still buy them at the same price we would buy a one that isn't accidented. You mostly find cars that have little fault on the ship and that is what you can easily fixed and there prices are actually reduced as well. I have actually been getting cars a long time now. For the fact that i stay about 5mins from the boarder and also about 15mins from the park makes me develop so much interest more on the cars around and also with someone that wants to build a lovely reputition on here. I must tell you i want my customers to get the best at the greatest prices.

For customers scared of going along to Cotonou to buy cars. Haba, don't be scared. i just want to advice that if you are buying a dutable car and wouldn't be driving it for travelling for long rather than services around lagos, you can fly it into the country and use it along for yourself. cos some customers really want to use something great but don't want to pay for custom duty. anyway you can drive it, i just advice that if you would be travelling with your car outside lagos steadies. Just close your eyes and pay the custom duty and you can easily drive anywhere with EASE and happiness.

YOu can always drop your fear about cars from cotonou. they can be clearified.

@mikeapollo,
What car are you actually searching for? Let me get some information across to you regarding it.
