@sas11, oh you lucky, the cfa has actually gone up on the high side again to about 295naira to 1000cfa. yeah, around Nov. It was around 235. So not that cars are on the high side. The naira we are holding that we think we are holding money is Valueless at the moment. that is just the truth. you can imagine what dollar is at the moment to when dollar was still 116. Its our govt. I just hope they put we the citizen into consideration when they are doing there Politics. @savoir, nope. Say for example, car is meant to be delievered in Abuja, the charges i would give for that would be different from the one i would give for a car being delievered in Lagos. Also for someone buying a camry 1996 model. the charges would be different from the one buying a camry 2007 model. I hope you understand what i am trying to explain now sir. @sonety2k, You can pay duty for the golf 3 if you want to and if you want to fly it. No problem as well. meanwhile i would write you an email later to explain further to you sir. |
Its going to be in Miles, i think, its eventually 50,000miles, that is the total distance moved its whole life |
I hope i answered your questions right Room? |
I hope that answers your anxious question? |
@ savoir, There are some things you would see that are important in custom papers that would differentiate a geniue paper. We have the custom duty papers done, We have the clearing papers prepared in cotonou also we have delievery of your cars done safely. I charge based on Location of cars and Kind of car. ![]() |
@savoir, Yeah i can get you that car for the price you have started, but with the current exchange rate, you would have to be adding some addition funds to clear it out with the custom's duty papers. meanwhile i am not sure how urgent you need it though. @osmeka Its a golf 3 and the price doesn't include custom duty. if you want to pay custom duty for it, its going to total to about 650,000naira. I can help you have the A/c Done intact, but i am not sure if the car is still avialable and not yet sold out, but i would check at the park tomorrow and let you know if its still available. |
ayodeji1, thanks jare, i am aware of the new style of the customs as well. @ goodieuzo Was that meant to be on this THREAD? |
its all about cash, its a nice ride ![]() |
@mikeapollo, There wouldn't be any problem about that, when you are ready, i would do the buying for you within your budget. Do contact me to discuss further. You assured of getting a mistubushi and also mazda and toyota and some Honda within your budget range |
Bump ![]() |
@savoir, There is no way in the earth that a car you pay custom duty car would be seized. If its a recent case, then i bet the custom duty paper with your friend is a fake and non-geniue custom paper. Meanwhile if he wants to confirm what i have just said now, Do ask him to take the custom papers down to any custom port and tell them he wants to verify his custom's paper if its genuie. i am sure its an un-geniune custom paper. The answer to your question is no. The only reason for seizing your car is either you don't pay custom duty for a car that you are meant to be custom duty for, or either the custom duty is not a geniue one. |
For a camry 99 model, with respect to current exchange of 288cfa. if you have budget less than 900,000 naira you would get a very clean one, then you can then pay custom duty for it. but anything less than that amount you would get a very lovely and clean 99 camry. |
World of Luxury |
bump!!! |
@poster, good day sir, if you would be getting the 2005/2006 Avalon down here in cotonou cleared into Nigeria for you. Your budget with respect to what exchange rate is should be less than 3.32million naira and 2.25million naira for the Highlander jeep. everything cleared with custom duty down to Nigeria for you. contact me if interested. check through my thread https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-176899.0.html |
Yeah, when do you intend getting it. You are assured of getting it. meanwhile this now depends on exchange. where is the landing location of the ride? |
@ nairalanders, Best timing to get a car from cotonou is almost closer. For those that might be interested. i found some ride at the park, but not sure what nairalanders might think about it. They are actually going out for good pricing. (1). Is a Nissan Sentra 2000 Model You need to see this ride to fall in love with it. Its actually a manaul window control Its an auto drive though. The total landing cost down to lagos not withstanding what the xchange rate is like is about 835,200 down to Lagos without Custom duty. delievered in your Residence in Lagos Safely, then if you want to pay duty for it, the total landing cost is about 920,000naira. I must tell you that you wouldn't find this ride that cheap in lagos. I actually found it at the park on wednesday and its actually going for this price cos the dealer had some new shippment. If anybody is interested in this ride, Just notify me and i could deposit to have it tighten down and we could go together with such person to see it. But i must tell you that anybody would love it, although i think its a femine ride. but one thing about it is that its MANUAL WINDOW not AUTO WINDOWS. The rest are great qualities. Not sure if i would still find it around there at the park, but if anybody interested. do contact me so i can have it deposited for and we could arrange a day to check it out. (2)Honda Accord 1997/1998 Model The ride is a great and lovely ride as well, pretty very clean and lovely. One thing about this as well is that the WINDOW are Manual and not botton. Meanwhile, its auto drive and neat as well. the CD player that comes around with rides are not there with it. The landing cost of this down to Lagos not withstanding how high the exchange rate is lands at 920,000Naira without custom duty and about 1million naira with custom duty. Anybody interested in this should give a shout out at me also. (3). Volkswagen Golf 1998/1999 Model, The ride is lovely and has a sky blue color, i really wish i had pictures of all this rides, but which ever way, i would improve about it. Its Manual Drive and Manual window with 2 airbags and Factory alloys and with no A/C. The landing cost of this down to Lagos is total at 540,000naira Not withstanding the High Exchange rate. IF the exchange were to be at a balanced level, there would be differences of about 50,000naira or where about deduction on the costs i have stated about, depending on what exchange is Like. I actually thought i just bring down this briefing down to you nairalanders. Might be having to do this atimes for the purpose of some people that might like it, but if its not neccessary you could drop suggestion and i might quite the method, but i sure hope and believe it would help us all. I would take there pictures, but mind you. The reason i have to ask is that if i see interest on it. i would have it deposited for and the person can own it if settled for it.

@poster, if you are truly ready and serious about this, i would get you a golf 3 very clean air-bag and a/c that you would love for 500+ naira from cotonou. i am not sure how ready you are but if you are really ready contact me on my number 07083767658 |
@t3ky Thank you very much. hummm, wishing you the same o o o o, What really interest you in my post ![]() You are 100% safe |
@ Mr McJay Good day, thanks for the compliments, its highly appreciated. regarding the Sequoia. i would make enquiries regarding it for you and get back to you. meanwhile if you can give me a call or rather send me a text message so i can call you to get you updated with the pricing and the landing cost inclusive custom duties paper. I would be waiting to keep in touch and deal business with you soon hopefully |
@ aieromon, I would get you that year for about 500k and about the jetta, i could get it for you for 450-480k. meanwhile would you want the jetta to be with A/C as well? |
Uwadiegwu1:Which one exactly you want gan ? 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder? |
@t3ky I could see this is actually your second post on here on nairaland. meanwhile regarding the model of car you have inquired for and which is convinent location to get it either lome or cotonou. I also see that you actually asked my collegue the same enquiry about the same car and location. Its not possible to award the same Project to two different companies (Smiling) Meanwhile i would just give advice that might be useful to you about buying cars from either cotonou or Lome, then eventually if i would be helping you get this cars, you can give me a call and we could arrange and discuss in details. When you getting cars from Lome, its cheaper compared to cotonou. The further you go the cheaper it becomes, but mind you, if you are buying it from Lome, you have to pay the custom duty there in Lome, pay that of Cotonou and Pay that of Nigeria, meaning its a double clearing process, but i must tell you that the difference btw them are not much. i actually helped someone get a toyota camry 1998/1999 model in Lome at equivalent of 2.8million cfa while i find the same car for about 2.9million cfa, 2.8million cfa, luckily for 2.6million cfa atimes. So why the stress. i am just assuring you that in a situation of you getting heavy machines , Lome is further preferable compared to cotonou. If i would be doing this buying for you and the custom clearing and all that. I would await for your phone call to speak further. BEST OF THE YEAR AHEAD TO ALL NAIRALANDERS |
@aieromon, try and meet me online, i have some valuable information you might want for the golf 3 you are seeking. |
@carlinks, its a nice price you have given for that millage. Not everybody knowns that prices are calculated with respect to millage. When someone would get you a car with a high millage. then you are buying something that has been over used. Its not just buying car from cotonou that matters, but buying something that is worth the price. Not that because the body is clean and you just get the car cos its cheap. NOPE. its about a good millage. if it has a high millage on an high way drive. its still a good one, but a High millage on a city Drive. NO WAY. its a good millage for that price. BEST OF LUCK |
@irony, i would get back to you soon |
serty1 Maxima 2001 model If you would be getting a full option maxima 2001 model, with a budget less than 1.3million naira, you would get a very clean one with custom duty with respect to the current high exchange rate, Meanwhile when you are ready, do contact me so i can notify you on what exchange rate are like to get a best timing for you to get it. I would await you to contact me. meanwhile just be assured you would get it lesser that amount. you might end up getting everything for 1.150m with custom duty. its just not a stable market. @big-ben Less than 1.75million naira, you would get a very clean 2003model and for the 1999 model, budget of less than 1.2million naira. meanwhile, this prices are not stable like i always say, cos i am calculate with respect to current exchange which is very high, but hopefully for 1st and 2nd week in janary its going to come down. Meanwhile you can contact me to talk further and give further explanation. @aieromon What year of golf 3 are you referring to? meanwhile i would get you a very clean and neat one with 2 airbag, factory a/c etc. might eventually be manual, i don't know if you are specific about that for about 650k down to lagos with respect to current exchange rate, but if it were to be a stiatution where the exchange is favourable, where Naira has value. i would get it for you for 500k. |
HAPPY NEW YEAR IN ADVANCE TO YOU ALL NAIRALANDERS AND ALL MY FAVOURABLE CUSTOMERS |
I have valid information that might help you with getting the altima, send me a text message or give me a call with respect to your order, i would be waiting and willing to respond to you or discuss on phone with you and also offer advices where neccessary. What are your requirements? |
chrysler are actually going through this problem with themselves. but mind you, like i heard, i am not too sure how correct it is. that chrysler has already been bailed out and if that is true. then i must tell you that the car would still be a good buy for those buying it. if you are actually saying that the car is going for $30,000. when you convert it down to Naira and also the shipping cost and all those. you can imagine what the total would be like, but what soever. lets just keep our hands cross and see what chrysler has got to save there mighty name from going down the gutter. |
HABA!!! When you have enough people that are available on nairaland to help you out. I am willing to offer myself to be of assistance to you. What car are you in search of? |
@jazzsoul, I am not saying you are paying duty for the cars there, you are paying to have them cleared outside USA or Canada. i am sure i am not wrong about that. Meanwhile i look forward to talking on phone with you someday and further exchange ideals together. was really nice reading about your opinion, that is the more reason why this thread was created. @irony, I know that of Hiace buses cos i had that gotten for a customer of recent, but regarding the litace, i would make further enquiries for you. but for the Hiace bus. Just have a budget of anything less than 1.2million naira with custom duty for the Long chases big bomber. Just call me to discuss further regarding this. Meanwhile its expensive because exchange rate is high. Awaits to hear soon from you. @ugonna245 I am sure of the fact that there is a licensing company of customs that gives custom issues custom duty certificates. but that of registration of number. that is done in the license office in badagry town. that is so far so good as my knowledge. @najm, The two are great cars if i must say, but i am not sure what you think of manual cars. i would advice you get a manual 2001/2002 model of the honda accord, cos the problem parculiar about the edition of this honda is the gear. and when you drive the manual edition, you are clear coast of the problem, but meanwhile for the specification, if you have budget less than 1.2-1.3million, you would get a very clean one. if you actually refering to the Nissan year as well, its almost the same budget. meanwhile, the prices are custom duty inclusive. cos you get the honda accord 4-cylinder for about 3.8million cfa, or what so ever. its fluctuating. Meanwhile you can keep in touch and by january that you intend getting it. the exchange would have drop, so it would be a great deal for you sir. would await to hear from you. |
