The scarcity of cash really affects people's turnout at the rally of Labour Party presidential campaign yesterday in Lagos, the rally is supposed to be a maga rally as it was claimed that most of the voters for the party based in Lagos, the so called rally was even organised on a Saturday, where most workers don't go to work, it still happened to be a flop due to low turnout. When the CBN gives directive that effective from February 10, the 200, 500 and 1000 naira note would no longer be legal tender, the APC presidential candidate( Bola Ahmed Tinubu) condemned the harsh timing for the withdrawal of the old notes from the circulation while the Labour Party presidential candidate ( Peter Obi) supported the harsh deadline thinking it would benefit its Party by preventing other candidates from vote buying, despite the pained this policy has caused Nigerians, the Labour Party presidential candidate and its supporters supported this policy which caused them a disappointing outing yesterday.

I believe the outcome of this rally must have been affected by the fuel and money scarcity. If every one had speak up against the harsh deadline of the monetary policy. The rally would have been more better, people can't go out when there's no cash and fuel.
