Bore hole dry up, my nebor behind bore hole has dried up in Ibeju. The reason given you was that the bore hole was not used for a very long time because they were not around.
Naa me dey supply dem water through my fence as a good nebor.

Yea, if a hole is abandoned for a long time, the pores recharging it might ve blocked because it is not serviced for a long period of time. If they can get the pump out and flush it, it could fix it up.

It's good to be a nice neighbor, they too will surely save you someday.

why do some wells etc dry up and is it true to say that Borehole in a place like Lekki is unlikely to dry up ?
Also, in most western countries they have chlorine in the water, obviously at safe levels to disinfect the water. I wonder in Nigeria, if you do not have the typical water treatment apparatus, is there something that one can put inside a tank that will be melting away slowly, whilst also making the quality of the water better i.e chlorine style.

Sire, Wells ve Dere source from surface water and all these surface water are easily affected by changes in season.

Boreholes in lekki and Lagos generally are nt expected to dry up but dey always experience blockages, caving in so ppl will just assumed the hole has dried up.


While drilling, some polymers or addictive are usually used in addition with water.....all these are expected to be flushed out so the water can be make potable. Also simple test can be carried out after drilling to ensure the water is safe.

We ve series of treatment we apply to waters that are not safe for use.

Wat dey mean by steering failure is steering getting Stive and very difficulty/hard to turn....so using all yr strength you can still manoeuvre the vehicle and take it to a safe side...

Here is the result from the water analysis carried out.

All the water from the hand dug well are contaminated while all the boreholes are all in there permissible level.
