This is cool. MTN has been offering N400 bonus on N100 recharge. But the whole thing boils down to the call rate. The N400 MTN offers is 15 minutes talk time. So, it's not just the amount of the bonus that matters, it's how far it can get you.

As for Internet data, I prefer Airtel. Glo would have been the best, but the network ehn...

You can get a reasonable low-budget phone. Check this list of over 26 budget Android phones. I particularly like the Infinix and Leagoo there. They're at the bottom of the list.

They're all good phones and each has its pros and cons. Let your decision be based on the specs you prefer most in a phone.

I'd go for Infinix Hot 5. You'd be fine with it because you seem to be very interested in update of OS. And the guy above confirmed that it'll get an update.
