It is said that evil communication corrupts good manners nd this is a way of killing ones spiritual life

2) Staying away from mass/service:

Some christians will stay at home on sundays nd do irrelevant things instead of going to the church to hear the word of God and they claim to be true christians

3) The kind of music you listen to:

Some people will leave the church after service only for them to start singing worldly songs. Most youths of nowadays don't even listen to gospel musics. They prefer wizkid, 2face etc. And the worst part of it is that they feel it doesn't affect their christian life

4) Watching of pornography:

Pornography is one of the fastest way of killing ones spiritual life.
I was in a church one day and the pastor said anyone who has porn on his/her phone should delete it there in the church or else the person won't get home safely and to my greatest surprise people started bring out there phones, some even pretend as if a text just got in.

5) Sins:

This is the easiest way of killing ones spiritual life.

6) Lack of prayer:

A prayerful christian if a powerful christian, if you don't pray always, then the devil has upper hand in your spiritual life. And all what he does is to kill, steal and destroy.

Lastchild, both are extremely effective. Fasting is essential to prayer. Midnight prayer should be done with some form of evening fasting.

If daytime prayer is convenient for you, accompany it wit fasting. If midnight prayer is convenient for u, accompany it wit some form of fasting.

Choose the time of prayer that is most convenient for you. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much...it doesn't matter whether it is daytime or midnight prayer.

I'm a warrior in the Kingdom of light. Studying the word of GOD and praying always are my weapons of warfare....You don't expect a military man in a war front to walk without a weapon now, do you?

I pray at 12 midnight and also at 3 AM everyday. I cannot do anything without prayers and studying the scriptures because these are my weapons of warfare....

You said you were battling with a demon; okay, what was the weapon you were using seeing as the battle was a spiritual warfare? You need the whole amour of GOD which includes the sword of the spirit (The word of GOD) and prayers (vertically and horizontally) to wrestle against spiritual wickedness in high and low places..It's not by physical power/strength but by the spirit says the LORD!

Your failure cannot pervert the thoughts of any true child of GOD...God honors his word, you cannot worship Him with a backup in the Kingdom of darkness!

Lastchild, I believe he who the Son sets free is free indeed. I have never heard a case in the Bible where one was commanded or subjected to pray all the days of his life to remain free from a particular demon that was cast out earlier.

It is just not Scriptural neither does it portray God as the great Deliverer.

We are instructed to pray always, without ceasing but nt for this particular reason.

However, there is always a condition to remain in the freedom in which Christ has set u(s) free, nd that is - SIN NO MORE. It means no boyfriend/girlfriend relationships which lead to sin, obeying the Word of God, knowing the sins that easily make u stumble nd fall nd avoiding them lyk plague..put on the whole armour of God daily.

I must caution you to be very prayerful. Hm. Very important. A prayerless Christian is lyk a sleeping lion to the devil. Wake up from ur slumber nd Christ will shine on u. You only know the time that is convenient to engage in warfare prayers...d kind of prayers that make demons scamper for false safety.

More importantly, seek to know God as asalimpo suggested. Knowing God is the key to walking in the victorious christian life.

Okay, that settles it then; if you think GOD is oppressing you then try the devil and stay put in your agreement with him...Don't go running around for deliverance. You can as well close your NL account and stop rambling since you've already tested both sides and found out that GOD's side is the "BIGGEST OPPRESSION" Smh!

The midnight prayers may be to fortify you and make you a stronger fighter. I believe if you truly and totally submit as a bornagain christian, with time you will be strong enough to have the presence of mind to fight and win a spiritual war in your sleep without staying awake.

Op,i share ur feeling, this really is bondage. You shud b free to leave a normal life. Being compelled to always be on ones knees at night is wearying.


Since, youve got help this far,endure, but fast and seek God on the issue.

If yes, I think you should finish it. Then after that, you can decide to pick a day or two days in a week to embark on fasting.

Pls if is the pastor that did your delieverance was the person who gave you the fasting, pls try and finish for the main time frame.
Am sure there is something he saw. Before he told you to do it.
Am sure your program can't be more than 7 days.


If I tell you how many fasting I did (white fast) before I got my totally deliverance you go fear.

Where are this people, when that spirit was tormenting you? Where are this people when you were running from one miracle church to the other?

You can never satify human being, they will always compain. So live your life the way that pease God not man and forget about what people will say about losing weight.


People complain , gossip about my reduction in weight when I started some time back, but after some time they let go of me .

Have you forgotten what christ told his disciples? He said if any man will come after me, let him deny himself , and take up his cross and fellow me.
Am sure Jesus knew people will always talk about what you complain about .

Pls let your focus be on him (christ) that set you free and as such do anything will in your power to maintain and sustain your deliveramce.

bros, don't let the devil rob you of your victory. everybody's battle is different and everybody's solution cannot be the same. if your total victory requires you to do midnite prayers indefinitely, why don't you trust God and do it. trust me, it will become part of you, it will be like second nature to you and you will be better for it. you will find out that it will benefit you not only in totally defeating your enemies, but will also empower you to succeed in numerous areas of your life. you will be a mobile power house. you will become like a rock that cannot be collided with.
