One commendable feature of the APC even since its days as AC and ACN is its ability to organize. The Party does know how to act under pressure. They have somehow managed the crisis of an opposition Senate President in ways that make the seat itself irreverent to the party. No need to talk about impeachment when they can focus on consolidating what is left. No need to give Saraki cheap populism. Leave him to fight others in the PDP. More so since he has virtually NO ACHIEVEMENTS to campaign upon.

Great article. As a student of military history and strategic studies, I have wondered why Nigeria lacks a long term military strategy to deal with potential external threats. Military armaments and defense can prove vital a State domestic economy but Nigeria seem to have ignored that totally. The reliance on separate western mechanics, and lack of direction in technology advancement is alarming.
