Hello fam please I have one question that sounds somehow but it’s better to share than make a mistake



Can I use a bro I know as my proof of funds
We are not related by blood in any way oh but he is ready to be my sponsor

This bro has a very big shop in ikeja
Two branches and both has nothing less than 60m of phones and MacBooks worth
And also this person has a good transaction history with documents backing up his work and all


But issue be say he is just 6 years older than me
And we ain’t related by blood
Just like a street bro that we have a nice relationship

We got married last two years

Please will that be a problem for me at the visa process or not
But she’s my wife and not an arranged marriage

I've gotten to the stage in my application where I'll need a recommendation letter. I intend drafting my own letter and sending to my project supervisor in skul,so he'll use instead of me stressing him and in the process submitting a dry LOR. But,my case is different, I graduated with a 2.87/4 gpa,I have Good gre tho plus,I meet the minimum GPA of the skul I'm applying to which is 2.75/4. My plea is;

1) anybody here with link,sample or can help me address the situation here as I want an outstanding reference letter, I think a lady here said something about this,where she got good LOR and she said some vital stuffs to be included in the letter if you've low GPA.

Pls if u can't help with link or sample, u can aswell help with the killer words here(type it) so I can draft from here. I just need good content on this, I greet una!!

If you are having your fund intact, you are good to go. Most schools would like to have you with your GPA. Just look for programs that accept 2.5 or 2.75/4.

Ooh but what if the program is not in line with the mechanical engineering I studied ??

Good GPA and publications are more importanta….so you need a GRE to offset your low GPA.

With 2.91 you will get admission, you just need to target schools between 2.5- 2.75 gpa.

You will use the unofficial copy as your application, that's after doing a real evaluation.

What does the last 60 semester ( 90 quarter unit) means

Realistically, your gpa is low. It's a long process though but if you can do what I say you'll thank me later. A 3rd class bros close to me did these process, now he's in the state now schooling.

First, evaluate your transcript with WES to improve your gpa

Second, search for low ranking schools in rural America and those colder regions where competition is pretty low.

Third, write a GRE test to help you cover up for the low gpa


Fourth, apply to about 7-10 of such schools and earlier to increase your options.

Lastly, thank me later.


Note: The process is fund intensive, exhausting but worth it if you ask me.

Luckily, you can even get funded offer too.

Actually after using Wes evaluation calculator on their portal it boosted my result from 2.6 to 2.91



But I don’t know if the 2.91 is okay and also
What about the schools who doesn’t ask for evaluated result
Will I still send them the Wes result too

I don’t know how to proceed
My issue is that I just got done with my university and im willing to Apply for MSC in mechanical engineering
My cgpa is not that encouraging because I finished with 2.6 on a scale of 5 and also I don’t have a GRE result

Please fam I need your help on what to do because most school im seeing are saying 2.5 on a scale of 5 and also I haven’t done GRE exam
And also I don’t have my certificate yet because it hasn’t been issued by my school
I only have my transcript and statement of result

Please is it possible for me to be given admission fam

Funding is not really necessary because my uncle sponsoring me has $25k available for the whole process for me
