your whole process took 3 - 4 business days...………. I doubt if your calling played any part to it . Internally a process has to be followed , do you really think calling or mailing rushes anything . That is more of a Nigerian mentality

Yes it is truly Nigerian mentality. I got a mail that the application has been escalated, Visa was stamped same day and the calling does not work. I never called or mailed to plead with them to make a decision, what I made them see is the fact that decision to my application is long overdue.

Visa application successful.
My timeline is as follows:
Date of application: 30th of January
Biometrics: 31st of January
Not straightforward mail: 31st of January,
I called to escalate my case on Tuesday 4th of February.
Mail of escalation was received same day. Visa was also stamped same day.
Collection mail: 5th of February.
Type of visa: super priority.
Please if your application is passing the advertised time frame, call them to escalate your case. It really works. I called and mailed before they helped with that. They initially said they cant escalate my application till after 15 working days but I kept disturbing them.
Justwise and every other person that has helped in one way or the other, I really appreciate you guys. May God bless you all.

I don't know how true this is, I'm staying out of lagos and i wouldn't want to go to lag in vain.... If anybody has any info about this, please let me know

If you are applying to RGU, i dont think you need to attend the education fair. Just apply online and follow the instruction. Getting admission at RGU is not hard if you can follow the necessary instructions. But you can go if you are chanced.

Yes, but you can also send a mail. My latest date of resumption is this coming friday. i just pray i get a reply before friday. When is your latest date of resumption.

You will get an automated reply that the mailbox is now closed and no longer monitored anymore. You can only mail them using the one on their site where you will have to pay first before making your enquiry.

I did biometrics at VI center since 31st for a SPV and received the not straight forward mail same day. Nothing yet since then. I called today and i was told they can not yet escalate my case because it is not up to 15 working days yet. School has given me extension till 7th of february but i hope to get a response from the ukvi before then.

Please i Applied for SPV tier 4 on 27th but submitted 28th Jan 2020. It’s been more than 72hrs and i am yet to receive mails as regards my application and when I tracked my documents is yet to be transferred to VAC.

I have contacted the school and they have a agreed to a further extension for a week.

Please is there any way i can contact application center (VI) or VAC itself through mail?

Please i need recommendations on what to do.

I applied for superpriority today but I could not book appointment online as there is no available slot on the website. It shows sold on the already booked appointments and did not show any time on other dates. Can I do walk in tomorrow even if I am unable to book an appointment.

It has started since 20th of Jan. I lost my grandma second week of January and I requested for extension due to this which has been approved till 7th of February.
Is it possible to go to the VAC and use the walk in service without booking for appointment

Any of those two days will be fine.

Please, for clarity purpose, does this mean I can submit today.

The same thing, uploading everything at the centre will not fast ward the date in your bank statement, the same 28days rule applies.

I really don't know why your sponsor is having problem with 28days counting and rules.

He is trying to be sure that everything is in order. Can i submit the application today then print tomorrow but the statement will be 29 days today.

Make sure the closing balance for the 28th day is reflected in the bank statement when you submit.

So if u want to print ur bank statement and submit ur application today, make sure yesterday was your 28th day atleast

please i want to ask if i can start and submit my visa application on the day i print my bank statement. Like printing the bank statement in the afternoon and applying and submitting in the evening. Please is this possible and i hope it does have any negative effect.

How do embassy check certificate, i think its only bank statement they can find out

Certificate can be verified and schools are always ready to help with that.
