Flakky26:Aren't you deliberately being funny? Did you read all the posts on this thread, before making this submission? |
majekdom2:You are quite correct! I know of a community where the oil exploration company operating inside there, wanted to build them a health centre and provide doctors, nurses and medicines, in order to improve the well-being of the people. Maternal mortality would have been greatly reduced by their own estimates, if this was done. This is because the nearest hospital was like 150km away, from that community. ![]() The community leaders refused, and asked that the money be given to them instead. After a prolonged argument, the oil company's representatives, held a town meeting with members of the community. Guess what the youths and other members of the town wanted? A big hall, where they could hold meetings, drink beer and play drafts. To cut the long story short, the oil company had to award a contract for the town hall to one of the chiefs from that community. He got 70% mobilisation. 4 years later till today, only 25% of the job has been executed, and the chief is somewhere in Port-harcourt enjoying his life, having pocketed his own share of the money, and sharing the rest with the community leaders. ![]() |

Can it fly for =N=1.5 million? I have a friend who is a Nissan freak, that would be interested in this vehicle. His sister wants to buy something like this, and he is prepared to foot the bill, provided it does not exceed his budget of 1.5mill. ![]() |
obailala:Exactly!! You hit the nail on the head. All oil companies have Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programmes, through which they provide the community in which they operate various amenities, ranging from schools, to hospitals to agricultural assistance. Not only that, your state govt gets 13% derivation from proceeds of oil exploration activities in such communities. Such funds are meant for development. Please go and hold your traditional ruler and his chiefs very well, and tell them to produce the money. ![]() Also get a very sharp lawyer to write to the oil producing companies in your region, to carry out CSR Programmes for your community, including rehabilitation of the road. ![]() Finally, lead a delegation to your state governor in the Govt. House, and ask him to account for your community's share of the 13% derivation proceeds, which is meant to have been spent on your community. Chikena! ![]() |

Ade Kassim has had an interesting career as an Oracle Solutions Architect. It is a job that has taken him to Australia, Belgium, New Zealand, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, United Arab Emirates and United Kingdom. He was even nominated for Consultant of the Year Award for the Australasia region, representing Oracle New Zealand. During his journey to different countries, Ade Kassim (or 'Kass', as he is popularly called) dreamt of lush meandering vines, grape-stained hands, and golden light washing over his own vineyard. Life passed through years of travel, career and family, but the dream remained constant until he bought a vineyard, in Australia. https://media.licdn.com/mpr/mpr/shrinknp_400_400/AAEAAQAAAAAAAAIQAAAAJGMzNjdmYmI1LTY3NGQtNDg4Yy1iZmYyLTAxYjZmMzI2NGI1Yg.jpg Nestled on the outskirts of Mansfield in the foothills of the Victorian Alps, Kass became custodian of the mature vines, passed on from a man who had planted the seeds, and sown the story. Grape growing is a fine balance between art, science, patience and hard work. To help maintain the symmetry, Kass brought on board, expert viticulturist, Timo to help him create the right blend of wines from his vine. When the grapes were hand-picked, Kass employed the expertise of Ros, an award-winning local winemaker to press the fruit and make the juice Today, his vineyard produces Vitis Botanica, a light refreshing finely crafted wine, without alcohol. | REVIEWS OF THE PRODUCT |cc: Ofemannnu

hilroy:God bless you! I thought he was ignorant so I was trying to educate him, but it is now obvious that he knows the truth, but has refused to accept it. He is just pushing a deceitful agenda. I mean, how can someone still be waving around the 90,000 bpd produced by Aiteo, over the 250,000 bpd produced at Agbami? |
FKO81:You keep citing an outdated Wikipedia entry.
|
Everybody, please which one is greater? 250,000 bpd or 90,000bpd? Simple mathematics. |
FKO81:You are just rambling. Does NNPC not have a stake in your Aiteo's oil wells? Anyway, this is a 2015 report on Agbami oil field.
|
FKO81:You are just going back & forth, trying to ramble your way out of your silly lies. Everyone has gone past this stage. Stop your copy-and-paste exercise which is only confusing you , and nobody else. This is an outdated document you are pasting here.Agbami currently produces 250,000 barrels of oil per day. Agbami oil field consist of OML 127, owned by Famfa, and OML 128 owned by Statoil & Petrobrass. You know this quite well. You even quoted the percentage shareholding of Statoil, Petrobrass and Chevron. So why are you still going round in circles?? NNPC has stakes in every oil well, because they hold federal govt. stakes in those wells. Tell me, does NNPC not have a stake in Aiteo's oil well too? |
raker300:Are you sure? Chemiron appears to be an Indian company, o!
|
Ofemannnu:There may be a need to create a separate thread for some of these people, as this thread is just focusing on business people, trade and commerce as well as individual & collective contributions to the industrial world. ![]() |
FKO81:I have read my first post. And my comments in that post still stands. Aiteo's production is still far less than what Famfa is producing, in Agbami oil field. You were the first person to make reference to fools.co.uk, because you saw it in the screenshot that I attached to one of my posts. You were trying to make fun of that post thinking the source was a prank or a false one, until I made it clear to you that it belongs to a firm of financial advisors & investors. ![]() Thank God everyone on this board can read, and draw their conclusions. And they can all see that the only person who has been shooting himself in the foot, all through this discussion is just you! ![]() |
Abayomi Sonuga is known to many people, as a dealer of a wide variety of high class cars, under his brand name, Bras Motors. But very few folks are aware that he also owns and sells boats, ferries and all kinds of watercraft, under the auspices of his firm Bras Marine and Yacht Services’ Limited. https://i0.wp.com/www.thepointng.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Sonuga.png?resize=640%2C452 Two years ago, he partnered with a few friends to host the Annual Boat and Yacht Exhibition at Bay Lounge, Lekki, Lagos. His company is poised to ensure that clients, have access to brand new boats and cruisers, with top class after sales services and genuine spare parts. Sonuga's company, which started operations a year and half ago, focuses on the sale, lease, and servicing of luxury boats and cruisers in Nigeria. He signed a partnership deal with Sea Ray Marine, a Knoxville, US-based globally renowned luxury boat and yacht builder with 30 per cent market share. The partnership also gives his company access to genuine parts and accessories produced by Brunswick Marine, makers of Mercury engines. https://i0.wp.com/tell.ng/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/Bras-1.jpg https://guardian.ng/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/SeaRay-27-5-15-Copy.jpg We are determined to change Nigerians’ perception, about boats and yachts. If you check our prices and compare them with what you would find on the sites of operators in other climes, you would be wondering what we are doing. We just want to convince the market that this is real and not for the rich alone. We believe if we do this; it would go a long way to further boost the industry. |
