hilroy:Just ignore that clown. All the answers to his questions have already been provided, yet he keeps pretending not to see it.... ![]() When you talk about petroleum distribution, especially in the downstream sector - you talk about companies like Conoil, Oando, Obat Oil, Forte Oil, Sahara, Heyden, Bovas, Fatgbems, etc. He will still pretend not to see those ones. ![]() In the upstream sector, where you have exploration & production companies, then you can list Sahara, Famfa Oil, Forte Oil (Upstream), Amni, Yinka Folawiyo Group, Oando Energy Resources etc. In fact, don't even start! Am sure he would still pretend to develop amnesia, whenever those names are mentioned. For oil services, just take a look at Ladol, Bell Oil & Gas, Negris, Cakasa, Marine Platforms etc. |

Teju Industries Limited, a firm specialized in foam manufacturing was established in 1973, by the late Chief Mrs. Bisoye Tejuosho, Iyalode of Egbaland with a loan from the defunct Nigerian Industrial Development Bank. She was a versatile, hardworking merchant who had a thriving commodity trading business, before venturing into manufacturing by partnering with a Norwegian businessman to set up a polyurethane factory to produce foams. https://www.onlinenigeria.com/site/wp-content/uploads/the-touching-story-of-chief-mrs-abisoye-esther-tejuosho-mother-of-a-king-iyalode-of-egbaland-and-nigerias-first-female-industrialist-how-she-was-brutally-assassinated-by-10-gunmen-at-the.jpg Unfortunately, the partnership was short lived, and Tejuosho parted ways with the man and decided to set up her own firm - a feat which saw her becoming the first female industrialist, in the country. Their flagship product was Teju Foam range of flexible foam mattresses, underlays, pillows and other foam products. https://www.citypeopleonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/OBA-DR-ADEDAPO-ADEWALE-TEJUOSO.jpg Her son Adedapo, who was a fully qualified medical doctor, also joined her in the business, and set up a clinic within the premises of the company. That medical care centre was known as Teju Industrial Clinic. He later ascended the throne of his forefathers, and was crowned Oba (Dr.) Adedapo Adewale Tejuoso, Karunwi III, Osile Oke-Ona of Egbaland. Teju Industrial Clinic at Ilupeju in Lagos, was later renamed Iyalode Bisoye Tejuoso Hospital, in memory of his late mother. At the hospital, his son Prince Lanre Tejuosho is currently developing the use of telemedicine for complex surgical and diagnostic procedures. Teju Foam products were popular, and well accepted in the market for many years, until a huge fire outbreak razed down a major arm of the factory in the 80s. They had to scale down the size of their operations substantially after that incident, and put a hold on further expansion projects. The company now has other subsidiaries engaged in petroleum products retail marketing, poultry farms, estate development, and furniture manufacturing in Lagos and Abeokuta. They all form part of the holding company now known as Teju Group of Companies. The popular Tejuosho market in Yaba area of Lagos, is named after the late matriarch of the Tejuosho family, Chief Mrs. Esther Bisoye Tejuosho. https://tejuoshoshoppingcentre.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/1cover.jpg

Deebee Limited started as a wine manufacturer, but it’s product range now includes non-alcoholic fruit juices, bottled water, and will soon include a line of functional/energy drinks. Dr. D.B.A. Ogutuga, Ph.D (CANTAB), the Founder and Executive Chairman of Deebee Company Limited, established the firm in June 1977, with the purpose of commercially implementing his research results, on the process of manufacturing wine from kola nuts. https://www.africa.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/deebee-screen.png Today, from the complex factory machinery used for purification, PET blowing, filling, labeling, capping and shrink wrapping (and that’s their bottled water product alone), to the logistics software used to communicate raw material and finished goods orders between offices, Deebee Company Limited utilises high end technology to enhance its' operations, and add significant value along its entire value chain. https://www.africa.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/deebeefactory2.jpg Currently, there are many challenges to manufacturing in Africa as a whole and Nigeria in particular. Despite this, we at Deebee continuously push to set new standards in terms of the quality of our products and the efficiency in the processes by which they are manufactured. Chief M.O Obagun established Onward Stationery Stores in 1953, as a retail outlet for paper, stationery supplies and writing accessories. With time, the business expanded. He started trading paper just after leaving school, at first buying locally, before he began wholesale imports, from a Norwegian company abroad. https://onwardstationery.com/images/banners/products.png Several years later, he decided to set up a plant producing large paper rolls, and newsprint for the print media. That plant was incorporated in 1972, and became known as Onward Paper Mill Limited (OPM). It was the very first indigenous paper converter to manufacture and market top quality stationery in Nigeria. From pioneering paper conversion and manufacture of top quality paper products, OPM has become a leading name in the Paper/print product manufacturing sector of the nation. It is currently Nigeria's largest paper mill. https://onwardstationery.com/images/banners/about.png The firm's manufacturing capabilities are complimented by an ability to provide contract based consultancy services in print/paper inventory and logistics. They also manage their clients' print requirements including requisite analysis, annual projections, customization and brand enhancement, production, warehousing and even delivery to different locations, as indicated. They have in-house consultants who ensure that clients have a well-balanced, consistent print and paper product inventory process. https://onwardstationery.com/images/banners/services.png https://onwardstationery.com/images/images/01.JPG OPM’s uncompromising standards are based on quality, competitive pocket friendly prices and timely delivery, all in one neat customer-friendly package. Today, Chief M.O Obagun's son Kunle Obagun, sits at the helm of affairs at the OPM factory in Oregun in Lagos, as the Executive Vice-Chairman, to preserve the legacy of good business that his father started, and take it to greater heights. http://onwardstationery.com/about_us.php
