Morning y'all
Yesterday while i was at their office,there were lots of complaints ranging from an applicant whom cdhc couldnt find his documents.the boy's parents had been going there everyday for the past 2weeks.the boys fees paid since february, d school resumed lastweek and gave him about 2extra weeks to resume.they insisted they wanted to see the consular or else wouldnt leave the place cos they have been telling them the same story since.
To Another guy who complained that he submitted since april, they called him on the phone and asked him if he was sure he had not done medicals.afterwhich they called him in,and told him to go do medicals.i know all this cos we were all tired and started gisting.all i'm saying is they have a lot doing this period and its likely your application is just lying there.if you are going there,go early.even if they tell you that it is still being processed.at least you know you ve tried your best.
The one that made me laugh was when a guy came and told the security he just got his offer letter and he was told it takes about 4-6 months to get a visa. So he came because he believes there should be something like emergency visa.they just told him to go to the website.in my mind,i just said oga pls shift.
So my people especially those resuming soon,lets try o.The Lord in his infinite mercies will favour us all.Amen

It is a ghen ghen o.just got my trv.got to their office around 12 and filled the enquiry form.waited and waited but they eventually called my name around 4:10p.m to come in and it was handed over to me.so grateful to God.He is awesome.
Also to everyone who has been helpful and encouraged us all,the awaitees,Good news will continually be your portion by God's grace.
Meanwhile my visa is still being processed on the site o.The tension is real guys.A guy was called and told he should go home cos they are still working on the 22nd of may (the day I submitted).I'd advice those that did their medicals btwn 22nd-27th of July to go there if you haven't received yours.A woman submitted her application online and daughter's on the 15th of july online and was called 3days after for medicals and she collected her visa today.
That's not even up to 2months.those I met there today and got theirs have been on their neck.

Nuendo how far na.cdhc no give you message for us?

frederal: Yes sir, I did med on 24th July. I paid for a semseter instead of one year cos d school even said they don't collect money outside canada.
Then for boarding, one girl @ st Johns gave me a consent letter stating she will accomodate me in her apartment till I get my own; I forwarded d letter to them.

Please. ..If you did meds more than two weeks ago...run go embassy. ..your VISA is most likely lying down there!

Today is Operation Storm CDHC. I did my medicals on the 25th and resubmitted on the 26th of July . Resumption is Sept 3. So moved by the spirit, I want to take proactive steps so that them go remember say pesin never buy Tickets and Schedule accommodation because of the wait. I wasn't asked to pay for tuition or board (although about 3 other individuals in the house who are going to U of Calgary and applied earlier weren't as well and they have been issued TRV) So i want to go and remind d busy people of CDHC that I still dey line.

I hope to return to the house with good news. Would keep everyone posted.

Sorry to hear this.Like someone said it's just a delay.not a denial.
I also would like to add this.First,are you sure the agent you used put you through because I don't see any reason why giving you your tracking no should be against their policy.it is yours,moreover you paid them.
2ndly,the letter you got,was it sealed? Is it really from cdhc
I'm sorry if this sounds foolish but I think you should be sure of all these.The error could be from them and we can also learn from it . I'd advise you take to the advise of the experienced people here and don't give up.Go get it.it's yours.

My TRV was turned down on the basis that my sponsor was not CREDIBLE, even with the fact that my sponsor had an account balance of 6million and CoO of two properties. Do you advice I send a mail to CDHC to explain further on what they mean by my sponsor not being "Credible", to enable me know where I went wrong in my application, or should I simply reapply for another TRV for Winter?

d jay: Hello good people of this forum 1st of I would want to apologise for my absence on the forum as waiting for CIC final decesion can make one numb particularly someone like me, knowing my application developed k leg during processing but the good news is on friday d 16th CIC hornerd God and my visa was handed to me that day I cried softly , I think it was tears of joy perhaps because 2weeks prior to that day I received my package from vfs init my application was closed and I was refused but in the package my intl pasport, full board+ skl fees receipt & letter from my sponsors lawyer standing as source of income as she dint ave a credible proof for source of income but she had enuf fund,all this was not in my package recevied from vfs. Let me take us back during call 4 medicals I was askd to provide these documents that was not in my package recevied from vfs moreso I was given 30days to provide them,If siga can rember I mailed him on his opinion as regards what is my best option as regard sponsors source of income since my sponsor lacked d required docs specified by CIC he sugestted a letter from a laywer would do. Tuale!! Oga Siga ur idea paid off. Now 30day has elapsed and I had not provided the docs infact it was until anoda 30days that I was able to provide the docs my application was closed on the 30th of july and the suporting docs got to CIC on the 1staug am sure dat was why d supporting docs and intl passprt was not in my closed appltn....now back to we're we we're after I recived d closed apllictn 4rm VFS as suggested by a vfs staffs and mr Wammi whom I met at VfS office d day his visa was approved after his 2nd trial encouraged me to hit CIC when I got there filled d form was askd 2 come in well to cut long stry short that day they explaind futhr more why my app was closed and that I should reaplly then gave me my pasrt and odr docs then almost instantly she got a call and she calld me bk in and collectd my docs bak and told me in 2wks dey would get bk 2 me which dey did on fri with d good news of stamped visa ..Thank God 4 me u guys ,thank u all 4 ur support, we are family in here. Well am headed to Ottawa and I applied on 3rd april.

This was in response to the mail I sent to them with respect to the resumption date-AUGUST 26TH.
I guess I still have more premiership games to watch in Nigeria!

These people should just do and give us our trv's biko.the wait is crazy mehn!...Thank God MTN don't send mails.its just really annoying when my phone blinks and think it's one correct thing just to realize it's Mtn per minute message about caller tunez or this

As Faith would have it,being a medical hopeful, I've already applied for a VISA GOLD CARD @ 1st BANK of Nigeria Plc,waiting to collect it any moment from now. It is a stand alone a/c and is operated in dollars...opening balance $100...min bal $19...charge per withdrawal anywhere in the world $1.5...yearly charge $15...
NOTE: Some hotels and supermakets round globe offer discounts on purchases/reservations made with visa gold card ßuђ this is not applicable to VISA prepaid...

They also issue VISA PREPAID card(also a stand alone a/c ßuђ operated in Naira) and pays you in the currency used anywhere you wanna withdraw(just like mastercard)...charge per withdrawal #240...opening balance #3000 or thereabout...no annual charge...

I believe this can do a gud job...

When is your start date? If the date on your letter is passed before you are called...you will most likely be told to get a letter from school.
You might not be able to negotiate the number of weeks if aint well acquainted with your school's calendar. ...for instance, I doubt if any school will give more than two weeks after start date...and I hope you dont have extra instructions? If you do..you've got to do "usain bolt" like Chrigo will say!
You can p.m me...I can forward the mail I sent to my school to get them to gimme the extension letter!
