I recall my first job interview, I was a youth corper and still quite naive in these matters. The CEO of the organization that I was to carryout my service asked the Administrative Manager to issue me an employment letter after we discussed terms.

They didn't. Reason given was, more corpers were expected and they would issue all the letters at the same time.

Well, they did and my remuneration was less than what was discussed with the CEO. When I brought it up with the manager after a month, he said I had no evidence of our conversation. It wasn't documented.

Now my eyes are " HOPEN". I ALWAYS insist on a contract. Infact, I will even offer to draft one for you to sign if you are too busy to.

When it comes to marriage, love is not enough.
And it is unwise to marry someone thinking "You will change them". It can only happen if they WANT the change.
You would have to marry her perfectly okay with the fact that whether she learns or not it changes nothing, or there will be problems.

Because what if you marry her finish only to realize that she doesn't know how because she doesn't WANT to learn? or that she finds it "de-meaning" (Yes, I have heard this from a girl's mouth before. sad).

Also, no respectable female of african decent past the age of 23 can even get away with that nonsense, unless she grew up as a princess in some palace, and even THEY don't slack when it comes to how to take care of things. She would have to be really really spoilt or ignorant to not know how.

This what I usually advice. Since they have called you it either you fit the candidate they are looking for or among the candidates to compete for that position and some Schools do not usually cares less about your location as long as you can prove your worth, you remember that guy that went to De-Unique School and was give accommodation because of his worth not only that they took the subject from the previous teacher that was handling it. (Note the said teacher was not sacked). A friend was said it is risky not to take risk. My present job was a s a result of many risk I took while teaching. I quite understand your position, that I do. Give it a shot, you either get the job or learn something new as regards teaching that day. We learn, grow and share.

P. S CARRY YOUR RESume SO THAT YOU GO DROP FOR SCHOOLS AROUND THERE.

It is ok to look at standard, but if you are in dire need of the job, I think you should look at the experience you go gain for future purposes. I I I I have not heard of such a school but if it is located in Gbagada, then it should be tight.
