This is something i have to share, no matter what.
The most amazing thing happened to me in the last week of September, I was separated from my mother since 1992, so I grew up with my father and his wife. though step-parents aren't the greatest people on this planet, but the step kids aren't either. I was depressed, physically and emotionally abused, soaking my pillows with tears everyday, and crying out to God why all the bad things on this planet had to happen to me. Everytime I asked a family member where my mom was, everyone ignored me, and going through all this alone @ a very young age, landed me in the hospital on several occasions, worst of all ,I was involved in an accident and was in coma for 8days.
Well to cut the long story short, I just found out MY SWEET MOTHER is alive, and we are going to re-unite after 15 years. All this while, I was told that my one and only mother was dead. it even came to a certain point where i started getting jealous of my friends when I see them with the mothers.
I guess that's why they say a child can never be separated from his/her mother

Most people think 50 cent is all buffy and what not, yeah, big deal, but he's not as built as he seems on Tv,  i'm sayn this, cos I seen him in person and trust me , him and his body aint all that!

i would say Rihanna is the prettiest, Ciara and Tierra-Marie is just pretty(she has a better shape than Ciara)

Why is it that most enslaved africans and some Caucasians believe that Africa is a country and not a continent.

It's funny how they tell me I'm from Africa, but they don't even understand what the heck they r saying, like some Caucasian dude was wondering why my country(supposedly) "Africa", doesn't have a capital. they think Nigeria, Ghana, Somalia, Kenya, sierra-leone, etc are little states in Africa.

The weirdest part of it is when I try to explain that Africa is not a country, these people have the nerves to argue with me.

The thing is, even here in North America, with the social security number and stuff, the Government still can't track some people.

Let them start school fully, pay for their tuition and school necessities and just give them some spending cash. Even if their minds are not set to get educated, they still gain something at the end of the day.

They may not appreciate it, but remember it’s better late than never.

Loans For College and University Students in Nigeria?

It seems to me like the tuition is very high in Nigeria, and most people can't further their educations. My suggestion is that the government should start providing loans to people that are keen to further their education and are not financially secured, so Nigerians can have good education which would personally boost up their self esteem as well.

This way, the Government would put more jobs so that the borrowers can work and also pay off their debts. In a way, the individual is benefiting as well as the government. This could keep some young adults off the street. I want to know other people's opinion about this.

there was going to be a crash on a certain plane due to overloading, and these three KKK guys suggested that some luggage should be thrown out of theplane, but that didnt help. There was an african-american woman and her daughter on the plane as well. Later, the KKK guys said they were going to go in alphabetical order to get people off the plane, so they started from A,  all african americans were thrown out the plane, B, can all black people please get off the plane they asked, and all black skinned people got off the plane, meanwhil the mother and daughter did not move an inch, then it came to C, can all colored people please get off the plane, the mother and daughter were still on, and then D, can all dark people please get off the plane, finally the daughter said to her mother, "all the names they called refers to us how come we r still on the plane motherÉ
and the mother looked at her daughter and said "today, we r negroes, and K comes before N"

hi this is Lauryn, found out about this site few days ago and since then, i couldn't stay away for a day.
