Every Federal employment is subject to FCC my brother don't be deceived. sammirano: You guys should go study the EPSR Act from where the commission operates. It is not subjected to such things such as federal character |

Wait & see they're deliberately dropped, in reality they will be issued an appointment letter Sakashehu: Good Day everyone,
How was the exams yesterday? Was it strictly based on what everyone applied for? I doubt. Anyway, I wish everyone good luck.
For the doubting Thomas who said 4000 people were shortlisted against the 15000 I wrote here recently, I think he can now see from the number of people alone in his center (Over 200 per center). In Kano State alone, three (3) centers were used and each of the centers has nothing less than 200.
Additionally, I have further information to share. If you believe, fine, If you dont, I care not! \
One important point I would like to make is that NERC is not Nigerian Police Force or Army, Civil Defence etc that can recruit 10,000, 20,000 at a go. It is a regulatory agency like NCC, SEC, NAFDAC and so on with limited number of positions to fill.
At the initial stage of the recruitment, the Commission intended to recruit just 57 people. I repeat 57!!! i.e. minimum of 1 person per position at every branch where those positions were required. Then after when the pressure became too much (from those we all all know - The Politicians), they decided to double the figure to 114 and subsequently rounded it up to 150.
About 15,000 wrote this exam and it will be mark by Jamb or one recruitment agency like that and not the Testmi again.
"Whoever that did well in this exam (even if they are up to 1000 people) will be invited for interview and at the end, only 150 will be hired", Said my Credible Source.
Referring to the Caliber of people we all saw at the venues yesterday, I dont see that as a problem because it is an EXPERIENCED HIRE. Truth to be told, you dont expect to see fresh graduates in EXPERIENCE HIRE recruitment (respect to the fresh graduates).
Note:
If the leadership of the commission can maintain their stand of not allowing external influence in this recruitment process, believe me, this recruitment will be one of the most transparent you have ever seen. The signs are there for all to see. Those who were shortlisted can attest to this.
I know 5 people who are well connected with high ranking NERC staff but today, they didnt make it to this stage.
Once again, I wish all of us Good Luck. |

We appreciate this positive update, thank you Olowozain: Movement/migration to a secured cloud database- For data/information accessibility among testmi, nerc and any other parties/individuals involved in the recruitment and all authorised/given a secured access! In this way, entity A, a primary data holder, Entity B, Entity C, Entity D and so on... all would have access, and work with the data independently as long as secured access is provided! |

Only profile pic is missing Urislady: My profile picture is missing on the portal. What gives? Date of birth is wrong and all schools misquoted and toggled. An end date is before the start date. The dates are not correct. Is this the same for everybody else? Who has access to the testmi website? I hope witches and warlocks are not at work here. |

In every aspect experience is compulsory,ie Pilots,Ships Navigating,Medical Doctors & Electricity Industry Considering the risk you have to ensure the safety & training of majority trainee & graduate. Sorry think again Ustec: In a country where the employment rate is very low, Recruiting experience applicants that are currently working is a bad idea. |

The process doesn't make any sense why experience hire would undergo aptitude test. What required for experience hire is background check only.

Many thanks for your information. Perhaps, the only difference in your information with the ones from lek4sure is the time line and the authentication of the feedback.
Result will be released soon (exact month and date?)
Geopolitical will be considered (how many per each geopolitical?)
Salary very good ( give salary breakdown per positions)
Mass failure in test ( why was the test results not released earlier and decision to release it and for what now?)
Experienced hires only (so if experienced hires are the majority of the mass failure as you said, what happens to the policy of experienced hires only?)
Please contact your reliable source for more clarification on all of that. We need solid information please. Thanks for your efforts! Lek4sure information is in line with the next stage of the the recruitment process which is Competency Interviews which is why the guy is always getting it right! His information is beyond scrutiny or called for clarification. Please we need information if the interview has been approved for virtual. Everything is stage by stage, we should be getting updates on the interview process for now[/quote] |

Olowozain: You are absolutely correct! "The initial review stage sorted candidates on the basis of their qualifications and years of experience for applied roles in line with the Commission’s scheme of service." Everyone that were invited for the aptitude test are perfectly qualified for the roles they applied. 70-160 candidates are definitely qualified for a particular position. However, 2-4 candidates will be selected at the end. Cutting edge advantages count everywhere in the world among tens to hundreds of qualified candidates! Cutting edge advantages are luck/favors, favorably connections, recommendations etc. We are all qualified in all ramifications, and not all qualified will be recruited, so let stay positive! Unlike the private sector where they hired the ones with exceptional skill sets. In the public sector, adequate skill sets plus cutting edge advantages are enough to get hired. And those working in power sector has additional advantage as NERC is a regulator of the particular industry & they had experience in that field |

Sierrasix: check their website the only have forum offices, they are not use for regulation (check the meaning of forum offices, I have been to 2 of them multiple times. Have you ever been to any of the forum offices?). NCC is also a regulatory body do you see then every where?. I understand |

Sierrasix: yes most of their state offices. They are all under department of consumer affairs. If you have problem with discos you go and make your complain that's all some times no one even goes to make complain. I have been their severally. Especially the Kaduna office. It was like a small shop sef. But they have changed the office, they have rented a new one. NERC is an Electricity regulatory body established in 2005 to regulate the entire electricity industry, its not only customer complaint agency |
