The recent attempts to malign Pastor Adeboye are the transparent handiwork of IPOB-affiliated actors whose efforts to manufacture false narratives have utterly failed. My perspective is not born of religious bias, as I am not a member of the RCCG, but of objective media analysis and a long-standing observation of these specific digital tactics. What we are witnessing is a systemic bullying apparatus that traces its origins to the post-EndSARS era. During that period, legitimate grievances were hijacked and weaponized into a campaign of radicalization designed to "bend" the minds of the youth. This movement operates on a binary of absolute compliance: anyone who refuses to align with their specific political pursuit is targeted for character assassination. The evidence of their coordinated suppression is personal and undeniable: In 2022, these actors utilized mass-reporting tactics to trigger an unjustified ban on my X (Twitter) account simply because I challenged their dogma. To this day, X has failed to identify a single violated policy, confirming that the ban was a result of volume-based reporting rather than a breach of terms. I chose to vacate the platform not out of defeat, but because a space governed by mob rule and intellectual dishonesty holds no value. The demonization of Pastor Adeboye is merely the latest chapter in this predictable playbook. It is a failed attempt by a fringe movement to intimidate those who refuse to be conscripted into their hate-driven agenda. |
lordm:Don't mind those folks. Everything to discredit the govt is very convenient. No data, no statistics, all vibes! People are testifying across the country from the North to the South, to the east, to the west, They cant deny the effectiveness of the Scheme but marginalization is an easy card to mark it down. |
Typing:you call it SCAM while I call it real deal. Let me offer you facts instead of feelings. Three years ago, I sat my staff down and gave them a simple directive: stop complaining, start positioning. I showed them how to read the economy, not just react to it emotionally. The result? The least among them cleared over ₦4 million in stocks. That's not propaganda — that's a payslip reality. As for me, the returns I made from the stock market last year didn't just sit in an account. I used them as a down payment on a mortgage facilitated by the very government you've dedicated your energy to hating. I now own the house I live in. You can call that a lie if it makes you feel better. I don't belong to any political party neither do I know any politician. I belong to results. Here's what I've observed consistently: the people who are actually winning quietly don't have time to be loud online. They're too busy compounding their gains. The loudest voices in these spaces are usually those who mistook emotion for analysis and paid for it financially. You're not fighting the government. You're fighting your own financial future and unfortunately, you're winning that fight. The economy rewards the informed and the disciplined. The question isn't whether opportunities exist. The question is whether you're positioned to see them or too busy being angry to look. |
dsenator:I am very close to many Unilag students because of the student ministry of my church, and I have several of them that have benefited from NELFUND loan. It is not a lie, it is real. I also know a student from ABU Zaria that applied and received it. That is as far as I know. |
TemplarLandry:He is trying to please his benefactors. He sold his soul. I am glad this is happening. He was never a true Christian anyway. A true Christian will proudly display Jesus, whether his political godfather is a muslim or a Christian. Let him go and pray in the mosque to show that his loyalty is complete. Nonsense! |
lawbabs:This is sarcasm, but this is exactly how some people in this same country will see this wicked crime. Very sad! |
Tinubu is responsible for this. Country hard well well. I am sure they didnt intend to do this thing. It is the economy that made them do it. Rather than go to jail or die by hanging, America should come and rescue us from Tinubu and jail him. |
YoungBlackRico:He's also an opportunist. He wants to use emotional blackmail to be selected as a flag bearer without election. |
Atiku and his boys have never built anything before. They just use money to buy their way. This was the case everywhere Atiku went. Would it not have been wise to build your own party instead of buying up other people's party? |
givedemwotowoto:What has he done wrong before? He only obeyed court system. It's purely a judiciary issue. Why hating on the man because he obeyed court order. The ADC leadership out to have filed a stay of action, then file appeal to Supreme Court but they only filed appeal when INEC decided to obey the appeal court ruling. From the Supreme Court judgement, it was clear that Amupitan did the right thing. |
helinues:in this case, he wants to be seen has given up so much to show his loyalty to the party structure so that when appointment time or contract time coomes, he will be considered. |
Growing up, Okin Biscuit was more than a brand to us. It was a childhood memory. My father served as the engagement auditor for Okin at the time, representing his firm on the account, and every audit cycle meant one thing for us kids: cartons of shortcake and coaster biscuits arriving home in Kaduna. We looked forward to it every time. I'll confess. I wasn't above sneaking a few biscuits to show off to friends at school. That was, until my mother caught me one day and delivered a 'beating' I have never forgotten. Those were beautiful, simpler times. Funny how a biscuit can carry so much memory. |
brain54:Read between the lines. The bandits and their trading partners were neutralized on Saturday and the ADC politicians, including Atiku, began to vibrate that the presidency is killing the innocents. The military replied that everyone who was neutralized was well identified as bandits or trade partners with bandits. The statement by the minister of defence is clearly to show that the govt is 100% behind the military, and any community that accommodates or trades with bandits will also get the same treatment. |
franchasng:You people underestimate information dissemination among the hausas. Not going to school doesn't make them less informed. Some of them even know details of his case with efcc more than you. |
Daguccizgreat:That's such a foolish thing from the mouth of a baby or someone without knowledge. Half of what we are going through was because of how OBj ruled Nigeria. It is because OBJ was not decisive and politically played along with the Hausa/Fulani politicians that we have Sharia was introduced into Nigeria. He had the chance to quell this trouble in the head when they started this Islamization program, but he didn't do anything because of political power. He was chasing a third term/life presidency. See how much he disbursed for the rehabilitation of lagos-ibadan expressway. Nothing was done but money was disbursed. See the $16 billion wasted on electrification, with nothing to show for it. He balkanized the Nigerian university system together with Atiku and both of them later established universities immediately after leaving office. The common road to Ota where he resides was never repaired under his watch. People had terrible accident on that corridor with much fatality. They begged him, they sent delegates to him but he didnt do it just because it was not his party ruling Ogun State. Besides the banking consolidation, the GSM introduction, the establishment of icpc and efcc, the paris club debt forgiveness (mind you it was fraudulent), and the establishment of NDDC, there is nothing great about OBJ's govt. We had good oil windfall then thats why we could afford the fraudilent subsidy then until they finished all the money Nigeria had. To you, it appeared that he did well but he didnt lay the foundation for which infrastructural expansion for industrial economy could thrive. Becareful what you want. Maybe he should return to govern your family. |
Is it touch screen? And how much ? |
patchsk:Omo see hatred! Na so Elrufai don become saint o, because he is now in the same party with Saint Obi. |
So you can curse soldiers for killing your husband? But you couldnt curse your husband for kidnapping and killing innocent people even after collecting ransome from their families? I dont know the igbo this people smoke. |
Jangbajantis:Smart enough to reject an opportunity to join the 72 virgins in Jannah. I thought 72 virgins is the goal... |
olaolulazio:You are very shallow. It's the truth. It's an open secret that some governors in the north as far back as 12 years ago secretly engage Chinese miners to illegally mine gold and they secure the miners with these bandits. I don't know how its news to you. |
He should explain how he made his money or keep quiet... |
vanbonattel:Oga you are the one capping trash. VAT 7.5% has been in existence for a while. She is just being sensational. Influencers are using every means to discredit the tax law. But she should really wait. The tax authority will wait for her until she gets x's money, and they will know whether the new tax affects her or not. |
Richie6:The military system has been compromised over the years. They are just trying to weed all the compromised commanders and solders with solidarity to terrorists. If US only gave us intelligence support to do it ourselves, the terrorists would have been given heads up from within the Nigerian military. So it's a gradual overhauling process. This is one of the reasons the North is angry with Tinubu. They created the terrorists, they pampered the terrorists, and they have always controlled the govt and military not to fight this criminals. Tinubu knew he couldn't do it without Foreign support. He needs to be thanked. |
Jacoban20:How old are you? You talk like a child. Do you know the longstanding friendship between Ben and BAT? So because you hate the president, Ben must be in bed with you? Who do you mob think you are? |
ablejesus26:You have no right to shut someone up because he likes who you hate. Respect others even if they have different religious or political leaning. This Nairaland is full of hateful humans. Chai! |
yarimo:It's a game. He's chasing the presidential ticket of PDP |
jiggyman:In where did his statement say that being a Christian makes you rich? |
SpaceX:I know you hate him but dont give your emotion away too cheaply |
Amarachieze:uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. He begged the North but they insisted on having their way. Now, it is fire for fire! |
omoredia:No be dem don go form ADC and are frolicking with your saviour? |
sweerychick:So we should wait until Russia comes and take over Nigeria. You don't understand the implication of what you are saying. Once Russia takes over Benin (it's for their resources), the moments they put eyes on Nigeria's bitumen, lithium, gold, other fossil ground resources, the insecurity you have now will be child's play compared to what you will see. My own is that they should apply the same energy to deal with the Enemies within. Though I know that is more challenging and expensive because the terrorists are cowards and prefer gorilla warfare. |
