Prior to the establishment of the PMB govt, certain agreements were reached with Principal stakeholders. Saraki was among the major stakeholders, haven being the single individual that raised the highest donation to the Buhari/Apc campaign. Saraki was promised the post of Senate President and 2 ministerial slots.
After May 29th Pmb called Saraki and apologised that he can only have one ministerial slot instead of the 2 previously agreed. Saraki most reluctantly but in deference to the President conceeded.

Shortly afterwards the president requested for another political favour from saraki. This time he wanted Saraki’s consent to use the remaining one ministerial slot allocated to him ( saraki) to appoint Lai Mohammed as minister. This was a gruelsome blow to saraki who questioned why the President could not ask Asiwaju to accomodate Lai Mohammed in his own slot. The President confirmed to saraki that Asiwaju had blatantly refused to do so. A thoroughly perplexed saraki could only plead with the president to allow him go ack home in kwara and find the best way to break this heart shattering news to members of his political family in kwara.

It was an unimaginable s scenario. It took more than sagacity and political dexterity for the request of the president to be accepted .But for Grace and very long lasting bonded relationship for the saraki camp not to break up for this singular development.
Lai Mohammed was summoned by the elders of the group including alhaji Baraje and fmr governor Shabazz lafiaji and others.
Lai Mohammed wept profusely, severally rolling on bare floor and swearing on every sacred institutions and objects of faith.
The elders told him point blank that they do not trust him but they were doing this for God, the President and interest of their leader buki saraki.
TODAY LAI MOHAMMED IS THE LEADER OF A MOVEMENT PLANNING YO UNSEAT SARAKI AND DESTROY HIM POLITICALLY.

U think obj is fighting for you? He is fighting for his interest and the interest of his friends both local and abroad in the oil and gas sector.

You all don't know that the top old generals have shared Nigeria's wealth among themselves. You don't know that before income enters the national treasury, the IOCs pay royalty and percentage to most of the top old generals for holding the oil blocks. Only Buhari and Gowon refused to hold oil OMLs. Goodluck achieved a feat in breaking the cartel in the oil and gas sector,
which made the generals go against him. What made it worse for Jonathan was his inability to keep the gain because it was a case of diverting from the old general into the treasury, and complete looting of the treasury.

Buhari has threatened to reverse completely the wicked influence of the IOC and the OML owners, and review the licenses of the owners. This is why they are fighting... Obj doesn't deserve any support against Buhari. Nigerians just don't know that this election is between Buhari and the owners of Nigeria.

As for Atiku, there is only one thing that he has not obtained. He has made so much money from govt but only one thing is missing. Oil bloc. The little pain of now is a true reflection of our capacity as a nation. We have been living on slush funds fueled by corruption. Some of the slush funds have dried up. It's now affecting banks, affecting contractors, who normally don't deliver, affecting civil servants, and even the market women. Because there is no free money to spend from corruption that trickles down to everyone. We either rebuild like this or go back to the day of slush funds and continued backwardness in terms of infrastructure and many other indices.

Without pain, there is no gain.

It does appear like I am speaking for Buhari. But no I am not. I am a researcher in the oil and gas sector, and I am opportuned to see the wickedness that the Western nations have done by colluding with our old military generals to improvish this country.

I am not going to vote Buhari either for his failing in calling his kinsmen to order when they ravage people's farmland. My friend almost lost his life to one of such attacks.

I am voting Sowore because he resonates with me on the need for revolution, which will awaken the youth to their responsibilities in nation building. Revolution in mind. The young people must stop bowing down to their oppressors, who really don't care about them. I know he won't win but he will get my vote and it's a statement against next election in 2023.

I wish we all chose from the alternatives but certainly not Atiku. And between both (Atiku and Buhari), if I would pick, it will be Buhari until we are ready for a real change (revolution) in 2023...

Two persons in possession of 14 sacks containing ballot papers were arrested in Kano State, today. Masked Fulani — Borono robbers arrested. Shortly after their arrest, there were reports that the ballot papers were thumb-printed for a political party. But Haruna Abdullahi, spokesman of the Kano State Police Command, denied the report, saying the ballot papers were specimen. Abdullahi, who displayed the sacks of ballot papers before newsmen, said two persons were arrested by Metro Police in the early hours of yesterday with the sacks of specimen ballot papers.

Let me categorically state that the ballot papers are not thumb printed and not real. They are just specimen used to enlighten voters in Jigawa State. The metro police in patrol at Sabon Gari have arrested two suspects with 14 sacks of specimen ballot papers,” the PPRO said. He explained that the arrested persons had since been handed over to the Criminal Investigation Department, CID for investigation, saying, however, that the arrested persons were from Jigawa State and that full investigation into the matter had since begun The state police commissioner at a briefing stated that the force was apolitical and would do its work as constitutionally required without bias.
