This election has proven that the problem with Nigeria is not mainly caused by bad leaders as people always say, but a massive lack of education as the root cause. Every educated person knows that Buhari lacks the knowledge and health fittness to rule a country. But amazingly he is getting a second term. This can only happen when the masses are not educated. Atiku was winning the polls on social media because those who participated in the polls were the more educated Nigerians. Even though Atiku is not the best choice but he is better than Buhari and had the best chance to remove Buhari than the other candidates.

Lack of education is the biggest issue in this country and this country will never go anywhere as long as it remains like that. If Buhari can be reelected then it means rouges like Tinubu and Ameachi can also win an election in Nigeria as long as the masses are this uneducated. I have lost hope in this country.

If you are really educated, you will know that Atiku represents the interests of the oil owners and the power blocks and owners of Nigeria. Your complete hatred for Tinubu and Buhari makes u think with ur butt, in 2015, you called Buhari unprintable names. In 2019, you repeated the same strategy, and you think that will sell. Yes to an extent, it swept public opinion against Buhari but it didnt deter the discerning.

The elite and the knowledgable who voted Atiku are those, who have enjoyed the period of free funds and rent seeking regimes, where monkey dey work, baboon dey chop. Those days are gone for good.

I worked in a Nigerian bank, and you can quote me anywhere, they are massively affected by Buhari government. Where is public sector banking today. Most of my friends in public sector banking during Obj/Atiku and Jonathan's time, own choice properties all over abuja and lagos. Is it their salary? NO. But the reality has set in. All banks have shutdown that department in the business structure. How will these people like buhari? They can never like him. They will always say he is a killer of business.

The reality of our economic fundamentals is what we are seeing now. We have to grow the economy based on real economic activities, not based on stipends collected from Abuja. It is time for the youth to wear their thinking cap and think outside of the box. Only the innovative and creative will survive under Buhari, not those waiting on freebies. I rest my case...

Sowore, his fake presidental campaign is being jointly sponsored by Aso Rock and Tinubu . Sowore's role is to be allocated more votes than he actually garnered in the swing SW region to provide a cover of legitimacy to his campaign and also to reduce votes to Atiku. But Sowore's grand act scene is reserved for when INEC announces Buhari as winner in an obviously rigged election . U think obj is fighting for you? He is fighting for his interest and the interest of his friends both local and abroad in the oil and gas sector.

You all don't know that the top old generals have shared Nigeria's wealth among themselves. You don't know that before income enters the national treasury, the IOCs pay royalty and percentage to most of the top old generals for holding the oil blocks. Only Buhari and Gowon refused to hold oil OMLs. Goodluck achieved a feat in breaking the cartel in the oil and gas sector,
which made the generals go against him. What made it worse for Jonathan was his inability to keep the gain because it was a case of diverting from the old general into the treasury, and complete looting of the treasury.

Buhari has threatened to reverse completely the wicked influence of the IOC and the OML owners, and review the licenses of the owners. This is why they are fighting... Obj doesn't deserve any support against Buhari. Nigerians just don't know that this election is between Buhari and the owners of Nigeria.

As for Atiku, there is only one thing that he has not obtained. He has made so much money from govt but only one thing is missing. Oil bloc. Owning one will make him powerful and get him into the cabal that dictate the direction of Nigeria. That is his aim. We can all go ahead and get him there and forget about progress.

The little pain of now is a true reflection of our capacity as a nation. We have been living on slush funds fueled by corruption. Some of the slush funds have dried up. It's now affecting banks, affecting contractors, who normally don't deliver, affecting civil servants, and even the market women. Because there is no free money to spend from corruption that trickles down to everyone. We either rebuild like this or go back to the day of slush funds and continued backwardness in terms of infrastructure and many other indices.

Without pain, there is no gain.

It does appear like I am speaking for Buhari. But no I am not. I am a researcher in the oil and gas sector, and I am opportuned to see the wickedness that the Western nations have done by colluding with our old military generals to improvish this country.

I am not going to vote Buhari either for his failing in calling his kinsmen to order when they ravage people's farmland. My friend almost lost his life to one of such attacks.

I am voting Sowore because he resonates with me on the need for revolution, which will awaken the youth to their responsibilities in nation building. Revolution in mind. The young people must stop bowing down to their oppressors, who really don't care about them. I know he won't win but he will get my vote and it's a statement against next election in 2023.

I wish we all chose from the alternatives but certainly not Atiku. And between both (Atiku and Buhari), if I would pick, it will be Buhari until we are ready for a real change (revolution) in 2023...

Two persons in possession of 14 sacks containing ballot papers were arrested in Kano State, today. Masked Fulani — Borono robbers arrested. Shortly after their arrest, there were reports that the ballot papers were thumb-printed for a political party. But Haruna Abdullahi, spokesman of the Kano State Police Command, denied the report, saying the ballot papers were specimen. Abdullahi, who displayed the sacks of ballot papers before newsmen, said two persons were arrested by Metro Police in the early hours of yesterday with the sacks of specimen ballot papers.

Let me categorically state that the ballot papers are not thumb printed and not real. They are just specimen used to enlighten voters in Jigawa State. The metro police in patrol at Sabon Gari have arrested two suspects with 14 sacks of specimen ballot papers,” the PPRO said. He explained that the arrested persons had since been handed over to the Criminal Investigation Department, CID for investigation, saying, however, that the arrested persons were from Jigawa State and that full investigation into the matter had since begun The state police commissioner at a briefing stated that the force was apolitical and would do its work as constitutionally required without bias.
