I'm trying to figure out the most cost and time effective way to ship a 40ft container from the West Coast to Nigeria. I've done most of my shipping from the East Coast or Galveston however I'll need to ship some cars from this area to Nigeria soon. I contacted a shipping agent in Seattle area and they told me $4000 just for shipping a 40ft container but it will take 60 days because it has to go to China first. The cost is not bad but the time seem too long for me. I have another option which is to ship the container through Galveston but that will be extra cost. I just want to know if anybody our there has a better option or a different experience. Thanks

Most of my cars in the last 6 years have been rebuilt title. I change one of our cars (me and my wife) once a year. So do the calculation I have used alot of cars that were prior salvaged. I bought most of them at the salvage auction myself and I got them fixed at a friend's body shop. Here is the deal, vehicles are salvaged for alot of reasons. The notion that vehicle with over 75% cost of the vehicle only are salvaged is far from true. I have friends that have body shop and there's just too much to explain when it comes to salvaging a vehicle. Some vehicles are totally wrecked that it makes no sense to fix them. Below are some pictures of the last 2 vehicle I bought at the salvage auction.

Check the inside of the cover of your fuse box under your hood/bonnet. If it's not there then let me know and I can call the dealer for you here. Sometimes they don't want to give the code but I've done it for someone before. I just told them the car was in a different country. Hope this help

Sven-Goran Eriksson has been invited to a meeting with the Nigerian Football Federation over the possibility of taking charge of the side ahead of this summer's World Cup.

Eriksson is set to hold talks with NigeriaEriksson has experience at international level from his five years with England and during a brief stint with Mexico from 2008 to 2009, and Nigeria believe he possesses the credentials needed in South Africa.

As yet, Eriksson has not received a formal offer, but Soccernet can reveal that Eriksson has already been approached by the Nigerian Football Federation and invited for talks, which are likely take place at the end of the week. Eriksson is understood to be extremely interested in the prospect of coaching Nigeria at this summer's World Cup finals.

Glenn Hoddle, another former England boss, is also on the nation's shortlist of candidates to lead them in South Africa.

Hoddle, who has managed several club sides including Chelsea and Tottenham, would be unlikely to accept the job long-term as he has told Soccernet that he has turned down more than 15 job offers in the past year to continue with his own project.

Hoddle runs an academy in the south of Spain designed to give young players who have been released by clubs in England a new chance to make a career in the professional game. Nonetheless, he may be persuaded to take charge of Nigeria for the World Cup finals.

Eriksson, though, is the more realistic target as he now has no other commitments having left his role as director of football at League Two side Notts County this month following the club's takeover.

Nigeria are searching for a new head coach after Shaibu Amodu was relieved of the position following a disappointing showing during the African Nations Cup in January.

As a soldier in the US Army, I see the potential in the Nigerian Military. However, the personal equipments issued to them are subpar compared to the general equipments such as tanks, helo etc. The general equipments themselves are subpar compared to a modern military. My brother went to NMS and my uncle is a retired soldier. Hope things get better.
