This is one of those comparisons that will not die for a while. It's like comparing Kobe Bryant to Michael Jordan. People get in heated arguement over them. If I were to select one of them, I will take R9. There are too many reasons why I would take R9 over CR7, but I will only state one: the defensive players when R9 played were deadly and guess what, he still dominated. Now, if you are not old enough to have seen R9 play throughout his career, maybe some youtube clips might do justice but that doesn't tell the whole story. Please, selected one of the two players and make a logical arguement as to why you selected the player.

Today's game, arteta and flamini suppose man the midfield to provide some grit. Ozil and jack are too weak for city.

I think Arsenal made a big mistake in playing not to lose against Napoli. As a "winning team," you have to always put your foot to the pedal. When you don't do that is when stupid things happen such as injuries and lackadaisical performance. It's never good to play not to lose. Nothing good has ever come of it!

okechukwu2013: What we need is a bomb detecting or bomb difusing equipment not bomb disposal equipment. If I understand correctly disposal is after the bomb has exploded, we don't want any explosion again.

I know exactly how the thing works. It's controlled by an human that can basically see what the robot is seeing and that's how they determine if a suspected bomb is legit. If it's legit, then the power to be will figure out the best way to dispose off the threat. By the way, this is a first hand knowledge and not some "googling."

I am highly disappointed in the comments herein! Makes me wonder how people process information. No wonder we cannot move forward as a country. Anytime, I am in the country and stuck in traffic, I always feel the urge to prove that I am a "Lagosian by doing the needful" but I am equally reminded that such acts of irresponsible display could put others and myself in harm's way!

I totally understand where you are coming from talking about driving in the wrong lane but let me ask you, what's civilised about a law enforcement officer standing in front of a vehicle? I really yearn for the truth in this case and please there's not much civilisation in Nigeria. a friend of mine here who just pushed a traffic officer with his car by maybe 2 inches got charged for assault with a deadly weapon as well as other charges
while praying that the man's family have the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,i am also praying that your friend will suffer the full consequences of her actions both here on earth and if she manages to press buttons she will suffer it in the thereafter.

Ofcourse I knew that but I still had to do it to show that I've done what I needed to do to "renounce" my Nigerian citizenship. Technically that's the process but you and I know there's no process when it comes to Naija. Atleast they sent me a letter back so they used 42 cents out of the 50 bucks

Did u get mailed a letter by the President,FRN accepting your renounciation and a copy of the official Gazzette wherein it was published?.If u didn't get any of those,then i have to inform u that u are still a Nigerian citizen a lá section 29(2) CFRN
The president have to accept your renounciation in writing and have it published in the official Gazzette before it becomes fact/legal,he is even mandated to reject outright any renounciation of citizenship if Nigeria were engaged in any conflict or natural disaster.
Then again,the combined effects of section 28 & 29(1) makes it clear that renounciation is only applicable to naturalized citizens or citizens by registration.If u don't belong to either category,dude u are still a Nigerian.

I hear you my brother. I was just going through the motions. I told them (my colleagues) that renouncing Nigerian citizenship is really just going through the motions. I'll be stunned to death if they (Nigerian embassy/govt) keep records of anything.

Alright to enlighten you this was what I did. I called the Nigeria Embassy here in the US and after several trials I got the chance to talk to a rude lady on a phone line that wasn't even clear (went on a tangent just to show you how useless they are). She then told me what I need to do is mail my passport with $50 and a letter renouncing my Nigerian citizenship. I did that and boom I got a confirmation letter back from them. Are you satisfied or do you have more questions amigo?

Just as eGuerilla has stated, there is more to the application of the whole thing than just the oath. I've walked the walk and I can say I'm very knowledgeable in this subject. You made a statement that is partially true and I was just trying to shed some light on it. Arrhhh, I can't believe I came back to comment on this issue!

Like I said, they (US government) really don't care about dual citizenship as long as it doesn't affect your allegiance to the US
