TheSuperNerd: As usual, someone will always come and say something out of context without reading the comments properly.
Listen again.... The Camerounians defenders of Ngadjui and Teiku are NOT FAST and will struggle against the Pace of Musa, Kayode, Nacho, Moses if we play to our strengths.
Even their fullbacks will struggle against our wingers' pace compared to what we will face against theirs. They will trouble us from the wings but so will we and also through the center if our game plan goes well.
Even Aboubakar is not fast compared to Nacho and Kayode. He only has good hold-up play and power as his main strengths.
Nobody said Moukandjo and Bassogog are not fast. Besides the speed of the Camerounians come from their wingers (Moukandjo and Bassogog) and also Anguissa in the advanced midfield position.
Period! I would not agree with you, these cameroonians are faster than us. Even musa that we claim is fast looked slow against SA. Watch their counters and their recovery rate. We better be objective and face reality before we face another defeat. They are faster and will hold our pacy midfielders |

jotey: If we want to beat cameroon then we need a dribbler in that match
They will just keep fouling him till we get a penalty or till they get a red card
That is why we need moses in that match
He is the key Na, short quick passing. In African football, refs do not favour penalties that easily and if they get the bal, they will counter you |

BascoVanVeli: IMO the best AMF in Africa right now. Saw him yesterday and every touch was a present, silky smooth guy. I heard about him and watched him in the U20World cup. He has so much potential but he just hasn't improved past that stage. Playing lovely and sliky football with minimal output will not get you a good club. He needs to improve. Age is not on his side |

TheSuperNerd: Ajagun won't play against Cameoroun naa.... we are talking about Mikel's Absence....
If Mikel is not available, then who should be brought in for the AM role? There is Iwobi... but he is played as the team's left winger/left wing forward.. He is more of a left-sided creative midfielder who can improvise as a forward too but that no.10 role can be his.
There is Aluko... but haven't been invited yet.
There is Ajagun... also haven't been invited.
After the Cameroun games, we ought to look at how we can integrate a player for Mikel's role should he be absent again. Who is Ajagun sef |

To beat them will really take a lot, and we are not there yet. Our fullbacks need to be quick, really quick |

Mickael2: there is something in this your comment that made it sound like you started watching football last week. So you also want the coach to come and tell you that Ekong was the CB? or that Nacho was the striker? in fact Moses Simon was the wing back since we want to be ridiculous You know you can make your point without the subtle insult, just saying. |

Thank you Supernerd and Joebie. This was what I was expecting from true super eagles fans. Again I will plead on the house to not put pressure on this team. They will grow. No need to trade blames |

HZwriters: what do we do now? Let us be humble and build quietly, stay off d press and get replacements. No need to trade blames. Then we need a creative player badly and cohesion is really needed. They need to learn how to pass the ball like the South Africans |

I think we have a problem with scoring. This must be addressed soonest as goals will count against Cameroon. Let Rohr field the most clinical striker and hope the midfield will do their best |

BascoVanVeli: Rangers had not won the league in 32 years u can't compare them to Zesco who have won 5 of the last 10 league trophies. The NPFL has great talent but Salisu might not have the talent of finding diamonds in the rough. Chief, kindly name 10players that you think can make the Super eagles presently in our local League |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Lazyerudite: 9:09pm On Apr 17, 2017 |
BascoVanVeli: Zesco was in the semi finals of the champions league last year. For Africa they are a big club jare. Well, it is either there is so much hype or the local teams are that bad. If you say Zesco is a big ten then I will not argue. But are they bigger than Ranger I mean, it seems our league is still growing or is outrightly poor. We don't even make any statement on the continent again. Same crap Kano pillars did some years back. It is better to say the truth even if it hurts so we can make corrections than give excuses and not improve. You can't give what you don't have. For us not have a good goalkeeper in the whole league that can step up to ikeme, or defenders and midfielders who can even stand out on the continent is not too good. How many home based players can make the current Super eagles bench? " |
