Grant came today, 10-6-2015. I had almost lost hope. SA here I come!

sorry i saw this late, try calling their Pretoria office cos i got an acknowledgement email from pretoria a few days back. they also requested some statements from me, which i sent.
my point is if u havnt heard from them since march, u should not just email them, i think you should call them

I would suggest u go to Fatayi williams for your medicals its at bankole street behind Elephant house almost at the end of broad streat. They would then refer you to st Nicholas for xrays. St nicholas is At 57 Campbell street. They are a bit close but Keke na dey way. Hope u know the prices for everything. Good luck

They dont send any form of acknowledgement o. And yes i agree, they should be able to add that to services rendered.
Usually students from Niaja no dey fit track their visas. I dont know abt PR.
You can however call the embassy in Pretoria (not teleperformance Lagos). 25th March is a long time ago, especially if its SVP.
The number is on their website and its displayed two or three threads back.

wow I thought I was the only one unable to track my visa app by teleperformance. Submitted last week (12th may) and school starts 20th july. Seriously hoping for a positive outcome. Congrats to all who have been granted and good luck to those that are anticipating theirs.

For medicals you can call AAFatayi to find out because i guess it depends on ur subclass(I say this because i paid 35k for medicals then 2500 for Oral polio while some dude i met there paid 40k)

Also for xray at St Nicholas i paid 5500 or so. You can confirm total price from A.A.Fatayi when you call that number

As for Visa fees, i paid 80 sometin. just budget 90k.

Hi guys i just got my eCoe from QUT today and i will head to lagos soon, i just want to know from experienced guys , how much in total i need to round up all the visa processes including medicals etc. Just sort of a grand total please. Thanks, you guys a really doing a lot to help fellow nigerians and am proud of u guys. Also hope to share my experience with others so they can learn.

yeah QUT accepts direct applications, i apllied there myself and got the admission.

I tried most schools in Australia and they always tell me that they don't accept direct application from Nigeria that i should go through an agent. 7 days in stralia and counting. For student touching down u have to first get ur tax file number if u need a job bad bad. I have applied for mine already on the first day. Buy Lycamobile (19 dolls prr month all calls and text to oz) if u no too dey call niaja. If ur the home sick type u should buy lebera as its 3cents to call Naija per minute. As for house please avoid agent because Na better wahala dem be. Look for landlord. They r more reasonable. Depending on where u stay motto na neccesity. If ur in Queensland Brisbane. for a guy focus on factory jab/general labourer. At least I don c like 5 Naija boys dey pay school fees. ( disclaimer "all na based according to wetin dem talk" survival on d hussle is possible.

Met a friendly Indian guy today. My friends neighbour. Drove his car to go grab a pizza. He works as a manager for aged care facility. He said age care is selling madly in Queensland. So as a part time job I cud earn 20 to 25 dolls per hour with regular shifts. Also met a a Gambian guy who just graduated from QUT. He does security part time and earns 30dolls/hr.

My prognosis so far so good> coming to oz is not a bad idea. With proper networking and hussle u go make am. In all things just make sure u are a good ambassador so that market no go spoil for impending new comers.

As a Nairaland ambassador to Australia Na only the truth and nothing but the truth I go yarn. Husssle fit pay. If u get wife or babe wey u wan marry package her come. Ur combined income can top 60k USD before tax per year depending where u get job. Yeah one more thing masters in gradschool isnt as diifficult or stressful as yankee or canada. Oz Na the way forward.
