2nde: Here we go again, Idollier said those Nigerians that she had dated are such a looser. Now, are you telling me yankee citizen are better than Nigerian guys? Absolutely NO because we have seen so many instances and prove that we are still a good option for any lady to choose. well, from what i have seen, experienced yankee citizens are infact better than the nigerian guyz that i dated. not just yankee citizens, other nationalities(caucasian, asian, e.t.c) are infact better. p.s: notice i did not generalize.. but thats what floats my boats |

Fashion › Re: Is It Ok For A Nigerian Girl To pierce her nose for the sake of fashion? by ldollier(f): 8:57pm On Jan 17, 2006 |
this kind question <<<<<< my emotion wasnt really like that anywho, there is nothing wrong with piercing. i don't think someone decides to pierce his or her body for the sake of fashion. i mean its not for them to make a fashion statement. the scars of a piercing is not permanent. my belly button is pierced, i used to have a belly button ring, i took it out because a lot of people assumed some stuff. the only thing i can attribute to piercings is that which each piercing comes a lot of stereotype. i think i have said that before. @larger_20 you don't like women with nose piercings, thats very different. but why make a big deal about it. what about the guyz that pierce their ears, nose, tongue |
Romance › Re: Nigerian Girls In The U.S. Are Lonely by ldollier(f): 8:40pm On Jan 17, 2006 |
at first when i saw this post it said "nigerian girls in jand(london) are lonely, which was why i never commented. now it says nigerian girls in the U.S are lonely. and then i decided to comment. could the source of their loneliness be blamed to the fact that they come to the U.S and decides to portray one crazy image. see also: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-5264.0.htmlor could it be, that they are lonely because some nigerian men are romatically challenged well i really don't know, because i aint lonely and i personally don't date nigerian guyz(i have nothing against them), but the ones i have dated has been such a loser. well i wish i knew the answer to this question. |
Music/Radio › Re: Omarion Vs Mario by ldollier(f): 8:16pm On Jan 17, 2006 |
well they both make good music. but when you talk of who has the best dance moves, the best body, the best face then you talk of omarion. but when you talk of who has the best voice i will have to say mario.
so, by my comparison omarion is better than mario, he sells more record, he has more fans e.t.c.
i dont really listen to any of their music, when you talk of R.kelly, then you talk of me R. kelly's is my obsession |

I think that is a mistake, I think that people have ran with this story for too long. He Father clarified that on MTV he is from Mississippi or so, and changed his name to Olu-Dara when he visited Africa in the 70S. Please anyone with better info let me know. His Father was also a Black Panther Type Activist and a musician that travelled and Nigerians somehow claim that he is Half Nigerian. I watched the Interview on MTV late last year. But i will hold off on concluding if better facts comes out.........How is he Half Nigerian? Even on his Diary he never said he was Half Nigerian..........I need more Facts though. well, he reps nigerians a lot in his songs. not just nigerians but africans in generall. i guess thats why the sweat him a lot. |

Rap Battles › Re: 50 Cent vs Ja Rule: Who Raps Best? <caution> by ldollier(f): 2:21pm On Jan 17, 2006 |
spikelord: Fiddy's nothing but an a**hole. Someone said big rappers hate Ja. Can u tell me who amongst those you've listed can stand Nas when it comes to beefsh!ts. Of course non of them. Do they rap hardcores? Listen to yourself man. You were talking about Dre, Eminem, Snoop,...... They don't rap in the same line with Ja. Fiddy is not a rapper but an ordinary chorus singer. It would have been better if he talks about himself as an R$B singer. He shoud be competing with the likes of Nate Dogg and R Kelly.
Not all of those you mentioned hate Ja. Dre don't hate him but could only protect Fiddy Only Eminem and Busta. Who even told you that Snoop is getting along so well with Fiddy? Those are not the only big rappers that we have. Have you heard Ludacris's diss song to Eminem? I guess no.
My friend, Don't say they hate Ja, they were only trying to protect Fiddy's ass!!! now you say that fiddy is a R&B rapper. okay so what, he made a few love song for ex candyshop. but thats why we love him, he dont discriminate to any genre of music. call it rap, hip hop, R&B... fiddy has done em all. did you just say that ludacris dissed eminem in a song?? oh pullezz you dont really expect me to believe that.. luda is a good rapper. but i dont think he have the guts to diss eminem. i dont think you know what eminem did to benzino. and nobody was tryna protect fiddy, they dissed him cuz they disliked him. not to talk of yayo, buck, banks all dissed the lil wanksta. so watchu talking bout. |

thelastdon: If I can hear you very well now, you are trying to say your body is the temple of the Lord...
please can I worship the Lord in your body since your are the temple of the Lord again, were you trying to be sarcastic. oh my goodness, i mean seriously. i guess you don't really understand what that meant. [ quote author=joftech link=topic=4928.msg174522#msg174522 date=1137484816] ldollier, don't we have a right to do whatever we have to what we own. Although i don't smoke, and i will never do that. Am only trying to clafify some unbased/unfounded dogma in some Christian churches.
am still tying to clarify some dogma aswell, you aint the only one.
Good morning to you all. I hope you all got my drift concerning the putting on of trousers...
Now concerning smoking, the bible did not directly say Christians should not smoke. The bible did say that evil communication corrupts good manners. If as a Christian you do the word that says not to forsake the assembling of ourselves, then you will discover you won't t have time to think of smoking. It won't occur to you because you are busing serving the Lord. Besides, the bible says no to be drunk with wine wherein is excess but to be filled with the Holy Ghost. The point here is who/what controls you as a Christian. Now if you are giving to drinking and getting drunk, the Holy Spirit cannot control/lead you.The drink does lead/control you and you will do stupid things in that state. And the bible says in Isaiah 5:22 that destruction awaits such. And destruction is not supposed to be your portion unless you choose it.
But as a matter of fact there is how we behave in our family(the family of God).We do not smoke, drink and all that simply because we want to let the Holy Ghost have total control over our lives.See?
Now that your Reverend Father smokes a lot,I will dare say he didn't know better.Whether white man or black man.And don't tell me it's because of the weather conditions, because there a re a whole lot who are white living under the same conditions that don't smoke, and are still cool. But note this, his smoking won't send him to hell,ok? Like I said in one of my mails, whatever is not of faith is sin. That's the bottom line. There's a whole lot of things to say but let's hold it for now. what type of christian are you, i mean are you a protestant, baptist, pentecostal, catholic e.t.c. hope you don't mind me asking. |

well, i think something is wrong with smoking. basically because in the bible it says something about one's body being a temple, and not harming it(your temple) with harmful substance. i think it goes like that
i aint too sure about the second question |

well, i wouldnt say that they try to be gangsta. but they do try to fit in. around my area(the east coast)., they try so hard to portray some thuggish image. some come to school, dont do their work, disrespect their teachers, join gangs e.t.c.
but such things have been happening in nigeria. not all nigerian guyz in america are like that. |
