I think I will start by trying to be Anthropomorphic, as it will bet express my heading.

I seem not to fathom how a tribe claim to have suffered humiliations and deprivation from other ethnic nationalities. One problem I have with Chimanda is all her articles tends to quote Chinua Achebe, even when its evident chinua actions are wrong. The sane mistake she made, about his book "there was a country". Now she is trying to say that the Igbo's were murdered in early 1960's for political reasons? Who started the war? Was it the Nigerian Arny or The late Ojukwu ? I see Chimabda is biased. And she is just a staunt re-echoer of Chinua Achebe's belief.


I liked the fact that she related the massacre of the Ibos in different parts of the country before the civil war. However what I do like to ask her is this,

1. chimanda was there nothing that led to the massacre?

So If I understand properly you are saying that any tribe that tried to dominate in another man's land should be lynched??...The one thing people tend to forget is that the igbo nation is on people that always tries to be the best in whatever they do regardless of where they are...I was watching a documentary from china on NTA and about Nigerians abroad and It showed a lot of IGBO's over there that owned a lot of companies and even employed chinese citizens to work for them..In that documentary I saw igbo men married to Chinese women and they can even speak the language fluently, In one of the companies,an Igbo man has more than 100 chinese workers working for him.....So what I am trying to say in essense is that igbos are proud people naturally and the amount of hate I;ve seen here is in no way what is obtained in the street..

Here in abj my best friend of ten years is yoruba and I am more than welcome whenever I go to their house...His mom loves me like his own son and my dad loves him too....I am yet to step my foot in lagos but what I am seeing here is making me wonder if he is different from the rest and I can tell that it is not all yorubas that hates igbos..When I was in enugu I saw a lot of hausa men that deals on gold and exchange of dollars living lavishly,driving fancy cars and we see them and appreciate them.. We don't hate on them in any way and we coexist very well with mutual respect that is grounded on the basis that they are law abiding and pay their taxes...You should also go read the reason behind the civil war...Igbos were massacred massively in the north and the then govt did nothing to stop the violence..Not even a public condemnation or call his brothers back to order...You guys should stop this igbo phobia...We don't give f*ck if you buy all the properties in igbo land once you can afford it..

tinubu is really a strategist who understands how Nigeria politics work. Jonathan should have never allowed him to form an alliance with the north. The northwest/southwest alliance is one that can never be beaten in Nigeria. The moment I saw odualand states being won by buhari, I knew that it was game over for jonathan.

Unfortunately, an igboman can never be president if he doesn't form an alliance with one of the majority tribes(yorubas or hausas) and that's the bitter truth. Igbos should drop their "I hate north/southwest" attitude if they really want to be relevant in Nigeria's politics
