With all due respect sir. I have always read through your post and I must commend you sir. You're always on point. I have once said this in the other section of the USA visit visa thread. LadyG thinks the solution to the headache is to cut off the head but for me and my little experience, do what's right and make the world a better place for yourself and OTHERS. Nothing last forever.

Ref to my post was posted early this year. You can check it sir.

OmoBendel24:

Seye, I'm getting seriously worried about our getting it right. Just dunno why the whole stuff seem getting bleaker and bleaker in my view, very blurry. The calibre of persons disappearing is actually a cause for alarm.... Exiting Naija isn't on the table for me just yet at all, I hope the US and Canada remains open to us always as visitors.

Even the UAE has commenced tightening its seatbelt for Nigerians as per their visa issuance sef. Imagine now having to go to Abuja to finalize their visa process, no longer at ease at all.... Ordinary Dubai that we used to get their visas on our beds oh. I'm vexed by the system, it may not have succeeded in affecting me as an individual, but the heat is on. We are losing brains!

The answer is NO. Reason being he wasn't issued visa at all and was not denied entry at the port of entry.

justwise:

The answer to that question is YES, denied/refused is the same thing, if you ticked NO then get ready for another refusal and possibly a ban because that is misrepresentation.

Thank OlowoG... I'm grateful. Please I want more insight to my case.. I have a company's account but I'm not applying with that.

My online business pays into my salary account but I just stopped it this month because I don't want stories that touch. I changed the account they make payment to my other bank account.

Please I want to know if I can change it back to my salary account and state in my application that I have a personal business running. I have been on the shopping online platform for more than 3 years. I'm trying to consider this as part of ties.

Please help house. Justwise, Ekpotek, OlowoG and others.

Hello gurus. Thank you for your precious time responding to queries here.

Please I will like to know what I should do concerning my application which I'm planning to file in during the mid year. I plan traveling end of August.

Right now, I'm working and I have my personal business. I want to apply for a 6 months visa.

After reading about the the requirements, I want to know if you would advise me to write my cover letter to the ECO on my company's letter head or just a plain paper.

I have my CAC registered since April 2017.

For my biz, I sell on the online platforms, and they make payments into my salary account when orders are delivered. I want to know if I should change the account my online platforms pays to another saving account different from my salary account ?

Twoods, Nigerians are not lazy... Kindly do a survey.... You know deep that corruption can't end but we can just reduce it... I don't need to be a politician to be rich... I'm contended.

If you blame the youth they misuse visa, they are fighting for the future of their unborn kids to be in country that the system works.... Think outside the box.... You see Nigerians go to the states and give birth to a baby for about $10,000 shocked shocked shocked

AngelicBeing, please find time to read from my first post to understand more better... page 77

With all good wishes....

Thank you Yemmyt20

LadyG, have you thought about how hardworking Nigerians are? Suffering and smiling as Baba Fela said... Nigerians are not lazy... We are just tired of the same old shit... For every new government, they will promise everything but when they get there, nothing to show for it... I can beat my chest and say if the youth today have the chance to rule... there will be drastic change in Nigeria but corruption will never stop... Do you watch "YourView" on TVC ? Nigerians dey para oh

For example... A welder need electricity... where is the electricity? You didn't supply him... OK... he looks for a solution to get a generator... now he needs fuel.... where is the fuel? E dey Aso Rock grin grin grin ... You have frustrated all his effort to be successful.. So kindly tell me how lazy he has been all the way.... Lol.... Make he go Warri go dig crude oil ? grin grin grin or burst pipeline ? wink wink wink

LadyG... I still stand on your point that never misuse a visa but nevertheless when you see someone misuse a visa, they have a reason to do that... It's a crime to misuse a visa because you have signed a document with terms and condition. We can reduce it but not stop it. I'm super sure you will still see people come here for advice and scope to get the visa and run away while some will get it and go and come back... All man for himself.

I have never misused any of my visa... I thank God things are working out good for me... You next neighbor might be going through hell and needs a solution so don't just be harsh on them...

Thank you Twoods and LadyG...

Yes all the trash boils down to all Nigerians... No one in exception... but did you sit and think outside the box that..

I usually do a little survey when I travel to other countries because I'm working on my travel blog to launch this year.... I don't criticize but what our fellow citizens has done in other countries has not helped us at all (I'm sorry for saying this.. Pardon me)... When it comes to shady stuffs... they are the number one on the list... Misuse of visa, fighting, stealing, fraud, drugs and other stuffs in the foreign land sticks to the citizens of Nigerian and every other person out there looks at us as one... it's so sad... For me, I have seen well rich Nigerians migrating to the western world. Go check the rate at with Nigerians are migrating to Canada.

I have seen families that earn more than 1.5million naira per month and still migrated... Look at this... I have seen a British woman flying from the UK to the States to stay permanently there which she knows it's illegal... She was caught at the POE... I was shocked and asked myself... UK to US... It's a crazy world. In the US, Spanish is widely spoken after English... look how many Spanish citizens have migrated to the states... The little truth is that everyone wants to live a good life because it's greener over there..... People will do anything to get the visa and run away... The first lady of the US was not born in the states but migrated legally to the states through spousal visa... She knows it's more better than her country of birth...

Good this thread doesn't support illegal migration which is very good but never the less we can stop it all... It's not only Nigerians that are misusing visa.

I follow Omojuwa and Osi of Beat FM on twitter... they rant everyday and night about our government... What can you do about that? You can't tell me the US government is not corrupt... Corruption is everywhere... it is easier for a black man to go to jail in the US than a white man... Crazy stuff... Racism is real...

Let our leaders do the right thing and you see our citizens do the right stuff too. All our leaders children travel to study overseas... including medicals... Lol... so sad... So what is working right here? when you can't lay a good examples for the fellow citizens... LMAO

Nevertheless... as I said earlier in my previous post, when I see a Nigerians misusing a visa they have a reason but the best advice is to do the right thing. WHO NO LIKE BETTER THING? grin grin grin .. It's not just what we want but we will surely reach our destinations... Not everyone in the US is making it real good but the system is working and they are contended with it in that little way.

Do what is right and you see the change... Sugah understands... grin

I want you to ask yourself a question first? WHY DO NIGERIANS MISUSE VISA ?

Cheers cheesy

Thank you Sugah... Please add honey to your screen name.. I agree and we have a long way to go... Yes.. do the right thing... You have added something meaningful to my little brain in my head... grin grin grin and I just learned something from you. I really do appreciate your point and effort. God bless you.

Nigerians need to change.. We are just too religious than righteous.

Thank you very much.

Thank you everyone.. I concur and agree with all you said SUGAH... As I said earlier... protect your integrity and make yourself a good citizen of your country.

Nigerians get it all wrong... Deep down your heart.... we are just being fooled with the little knowledge we have.. No one will live forever. You can't stop illegal immigrant... I have never misused my visa but I come across people who do that... I tell them my opinion as I can't misuse it but rather do the right thing. Nevertheless, you can stop it all.. Just pray for the better side of life come your way.

I'm making money in Nigeria and I have my freedom right here. Do what is right.

Nigeria is 57 and there's nothing to show for it... The aerial view of Zambia surpassed my imaginations... DAMN... God knows and will answer our prayers... Please don't start by saying America spent more than 100years before it changed... that was back in the black uncivilized day... Everything has changed now and if you have traveled you should understand me better....

A sin is a sin... I don't have the right to choose for people who want to misuse their visa because of what they have been through all their lives... Just thank God you're living OK and things are working out well for you... Not everyone will have a good heart like you do...

If you misuse a visa... it's in your name and not mine... So all man for himself.... always get my point that I don't encourage people to misuse their visa but you can never judge them sometimes.. No one wants to die poor... I have once read on Nairalander that he loves being a third class citizen in a working country than being a second class citizen in a country that nothing works... He has the right to choose... The VOS still gives visas to people that will misuse it... That's life...

Don't forget that the Britains told Ms. Meghan Markle that she has her limitations getting married to the royal son Prince Harry... It happens everywhere in the world.

You don't live forever... enjoy while it last... nothing last forever.

To everyone... THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX

I have been reading for a long time and this as been disturbing me but I need to let it out 2018.

I'm a young dude under 30's. I have been to the 4 angles of Africa and Middle East (North Africa, South Africa and East Africa). To my little conclusion, I would say West Africa as a whole is lagging behind too much. On this thread, I have been reading for quite 18 months. No doubts.. I agree with when you're filling a visa form fill the truth. It helps a lot. I also support the point that never misuse your visa. Be a good citizen and don't tarnish your integrity.

There are many intelligent people on here I must commend and I really appreciate your IQ. GOD BLESS YOU ALL...

Most Nigerians I meet and the ones that criticize here are just privileged to have the visas. You got nothing special. Respect is reciprocal. Nigerians are just too proud and they don't have anything... All they know how to do is brag on trashing stuff (EMPTY VESSELS). I have met people from other part of the world and when I talk to them, they show that respect and talk to you in a manner that you feel relaxed. It makes me feel good and relate more better with non Nigerians because they feel all humans have the same right to do whatever you want. Nigerians just love to live the fake life. So annoying.

I have come to conclusion that if you have a visa and you want to misuse it. go ahead and do it... if you don't want to misuse it, good for you... You have limited time to live in this crazy world... why would you want to suffer all your life in this Nigeria that the leaders are not ready to change. I don't believe any leader in this country because all they want it for their pocket only... same as people who have the privilege to have visas on here.. They talk like they are the best and others that get denied won't get it... You can never stop racism in this world...

The VO respects everyone. Despite you lie to them, they would never abuse or make you feel awkward about it... They also feel your pains in this place.

Abegi all man for himself...

RESPECT IS RECIPROCAL

Hey guys. Thanks. I just want to share my little opinion right here about SA. It's a cool country out there.... but not safe as far as I'm concerned. The best bet about the country is to go visiting and return. I have been so to some other countries but when I was in SA I felt I wasn't safe. I had too much limitations.

All the same, I would still visit but never think staying there.

Not only Nigeria is not developed. The truth is that west Africa as a whole is not developed.

North Africa good to go
East Africa good to go
South Africa good to go
West Africa no joy, no development

Be wise.

You must have a return ticket that shows when you are living SA and must corresponds to your paid hotel reservation. A day more or less you will be denied entry.

Must one have a paid hotel bookings before he's allowed to enter the republic ? I made a reservation through bookings.com but payment on arrival

Hello house, please I will be traveling to SA this weekend but I need to confirm if I can use my hotel reservation through bookings.com. I initially paid for 2 nights at a hotel but it got cut off when my visa didn't come out in due time. Now I just made a new reservation with booking to pay upon arrival in the republic.

Why would you think so low like this? If you get caught and ban now, you will say your village witches are after you but you did it yourself. Never use a fake doc to apply for visas.

I'm still filling the forms right now. I will be filling in single right there not even in a domestic relationship. Then if asked if I have misinterpreted... I would click Yes and state the wrong information I supplied not married as I stated in my previous DS-160

I guess I'm good to go with that.. I don't want any issues or headache...

Thank you LadyG. I really do appreciate your effort and response. Since checking in between the lines as you said, I can call our relationship "domestic partnership" in line with the DS-160 form.

Please what's the best solution to my problem because I don't want to complicate matter.
Travel / Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by Lee310: 9:54am On Oct 30, 2017
Good morning Lagos NIV & Abuja NIV

Yes, I have a question to ask... I'm confused. I have once applied for a NIV 2years ago. During my application, I was married to my ex, but we never had any legal documents joining us. (No Court wedding). We started dating from the University series. Right now, we are not in good terms and we have gone our separate ways for good. No kids involved too. I will like to apply for a NIV this year as I'm filling my DS-160.

I'm stuck with this question... Are you married? I'm very much single right now.

What's the best option for me to select? Because, if I choose divorced, I don't have any paperwork to defend this.

Kindly shed more light please. I don't want to misinterpret.

Thank you.
