Hi justwise and everyone. My visa got approved 3 weeks after my intended travel date on my visa application. I said I was going to spend 10 days when I applied but can I spend up to 14 days now since the visa came out after my intended travel date?

You can spend more than the 10days tho... You will be asked at the POE but make sure you don't make yourself warrant of questions staying too long because they have believed you have more important things to do in your home country... From my view.. You might stay for your 14 days. My last visit was 12 days. My 1 penny

Hello house, howdy ? I just filled my form online and I was asked if I have been denied a visa before.

On this note, Yes but I reapplied immediately and I got my 6months. That was last year... so now I'm applying for 2years and when I asked about previous denial I answered yes...

Now I want to change my location to VI, how do I go abt it. .. I've tried to do it buh the option to change location isn't coming up and I've paid already. Just had to save my application and log out.... Pls Anyone that has an answer, should help. It's urgent

Please have a valid hotel bookings oh else you will be on the next flight to Nigeria. This happened to me last year October. I was at the port of entry. I booked 2days and on my landing card I wrote I'm staying for 10days. It was an issue to me but because I was a frequent traveler, I scaled through. I was put under investigation for booking 2nights and my return ticket was 10days. If you're a frequent traveler, you can do that at your own risk. Book the number of days on your return ticket and when you enter you can cancel it. The hotel might charge you before you enter sef because you duration days has started. I had to let 20K naira go to the hotel to enter but I enjoyed it sha. 20K naira or deported, which one will you choose ?

My sister in-law was assiting her younger brother to re-apply for UK visa and just yesterday a friend of my husband came to our house and from one talk to the other, we started talking of UK visa, so I mentioned about my sister in-law, how she was trying to reapply a visa for younger brother, the man started gisting me how he got his visa in 2012. He said that someone assisted him, he just went to Abuja with his documents and passport and was interviewed, in few weeks he got his passport with visa. I was very surprised, do tourist visa applicant go for interview ? He even said that most documents were fake but ended up getting it. He just said the man that helped him knows pple at the Embassy, I was so confused about his talk. Please are they some people that go through interview for tourist visa here in Nigeria? Is it in Nigeria that they put the visa sticker? He even gave me the connection of the guy for my sister in-law to use him, i called my sister in-law and linked her with the guy and he said he will assist but we are scared and beside I av not heard about Interview for tourist visa. So sorry for the long write up.

Best advise... don't try that story he cooked up for you... you want to put your brother on a long 10years ban... Please don't come back and lament oh. Do it yourself. Read through this forum and you will learn it. You could also look for reputable travel companies but on here they would advice you to read through and do it yourself.

Fekeri... best advice. Rewrite your cover letter and attach documents to show that you run a company. Make sure your cover letter explains it all.

I once applied and was rejected. I reapplied after one week when I got my passport back then I explained more better with supporting documents. I got my visa.

Mine was visiting tho. And yours is business. I have a job and side business too.

There is nothing like that, visa application does not work that way. How much do you earn and how much are you planning to spend is the issue here.

I earn 400K monthly... I plan to spend 550K on my trip. I stayed 10days during my last visit. I have about 1.3m bal in savings.

With the little experience.... fill your forms carefully, have a valid reason for your visit. Your paper work will only speak for you. If you're writing a cover letter make sure it explains everything in details. Also, if you go the TLS with any supporting docs and the attendant tells you that you don't need one of the docs, they them to scan it... it's your application not theirs. It happened to me... my first application the lady didn't scan my docs for business dealings. Telling that my CAC docs and tax will do that. I was refused that my business doesn't have a valid means of transactions... I reapplied the next day I got refused. Got back there and I told them to scan all my supporting docs. I got my visa straight.

You have to be very explicit with your explanation, remembee you wont be there to defend yourself , your cover letter would only be available to speak on .. Presently the Uk children have a lot of application to treat, Therefore Your application needs a very strong cover letter , which would explain you status thoroughly ,


1. How come you did not specify the currency weda Gbp or Naira of the 160 u spend on urself and others ?

2. You have not satisfactorily explained your circumstance in Nigeria.

3. How come the balance in your account skyrocketed from 10k to 1million plus in just 7 days ...?

Yes, I had 5 deposit in the account which was to fulfill orders from customers. After this deposit, I withdrew some funds for purchase I had about closing bal of 600k when submitting.

Thank you guru ekpotek... yes I'm going to the U.K. as a tourist... I added my business profile because that's another tie to my homeland. You know no matter how comfortable you're, you want to make more money. That's my intent for my business to have a side income.

Are you advising me to remove my business entirely or add it as an added advantage?

1. I don't understand what the ECO meant by saying your salary is transferred into your gtbank saving account. Salary is not by cash but transfer from my employers company's account to my savings account... is it a crime ?

2. No regular withdrawals- on this account within 6 months I have 179 debits and 15credits... the 9 other credits on my salary savings account is not up to 50K.. it's just mere refunds

3. 160 unspecified currency- this is the money I personally spend and give my siblings... on my personal letter I specified that 160ponds.

4. I have a business I run... I have the CAC docs and tax... I make an average of 50K per month... the 5deposits are for clients I have orders from. They pay into my biz account and I run their transactions from there... I used it in purchasing goods... I didnt even stated that I'm using my business account for my trip... I have enough balance in my saving account about 2m and 600K on biz account.

Hello everyone, justwise: ekpotek and other. Please I need your help... I was denied my first application with foolish excuse. The docs I submitted was not checked and in the refusal letter, all the stuff they used to consider my application was not related to me. let's fastfwd... I have reapplied and I'm trying to link my new GWF with TLS but it keeps bringing the old GWF number. Please what can I do to rectify it? I don't want to created another profile on TLS
