The 2016 BMW M2 lands as an all-new car based on the existing 2 Series. In 2011, BMW’s M Division designed the 1 M Coupe based on its entry-level luxury 1 Series sport coupe. It was a potent little sports car with one major demerit: availability. Less than 1,000 examples were imported to the United States, and demand far outstripped supply. In 2014, BMW redesigned the 1 Series and renamed it the 2 Series. Now, two years later, we have the 2016 BMW M2. It tows the same formula, and this time around, BMW says it will build read more at;http://www.automobileglobe.com/2016-bmw-m2-coupe-complete-review/

The typical brake system consists of disc brakes that are found in the front and either disc and or brake drums in the rear linked by a system of tubes and hoses that connect the brake at each wheel to the master cylinder. Other components that are connected with the brake system are inclusive of the Parking brakes, power brake boosters plus the anti-lock system. Ideally, when you step on the brake pedal, you are actually pressing against a plunger in the master cylinder, which then forces hydraulic oil (the brake fluid) through a series of tubes and hoses to the braking unit of each wheel. Since hydraulic fluid cannot be compressed, pushing fluid through a pipe is just the same thing as pushing a steel SEE MORE at;http://www.automobileglobe.com/what-to-know-about-your-brakes/

Rolls-Royce 2016 Wraith arrives with front massaging seats plus an adaptive headlights to its line of standard features. The option rich Wraith U.S. package now adds polished steel tread plates and a choice of five and seven spoke polished wheels. Additional personalization features are available for the category, and new sets of color combo are on hand for seat stitching and piping. Introduction While the Rolls-Royce” name plate” is classically associated with ultra luxury sedans that are expressly knitted to the chauffeured owner’s exact condition, the Rolls producers have a long history of creating driver centric two door coupes as well. In fact, Rolls Royce presently has two of them in it’s the category: the Phantom Coupe and the Wraith. The Phantom Coupe is unmistakably posh. Away from the ultimate driver focused Rolls, the Wraith should be your Preference.rolls front ag The Wraith is however more read more;http://www.automobileglobe.com/exclusive-review-of-the-2016-rolls-royce-wraith-coupe/

Since it first arrival at dealerships, the Porsche Macan has been one of the most desirable compact luxury SUVs. Its second year on the market jammed the Macan S’s price tag even higher. however, this did little to reduce the Macan’s immense appeal and popularity, and a new base model for the 2017 Porsche Macan is nevertheless a welcome addition to the category. With performance ability that still positions it ahead of its four-cylinder-powered competition, the likes of the Audi Q5, BMW X3 xDrive 28i and Mercedes-Benz GLC300, the new base Macan still delivers the sort of compelling performance that we’ve come to appreciate. Porsche has not yet given a full standard features list for the base Macan, so we cant tell how it compares to the somewhat disappointingly built Macan S (xenon headlights, eight-way power seats and the next-generation touchscreen tech interface have been referred to as common features), but we expect feature content to be similar. when an engine block is designed; there is special kind of molded sand the shape of the coolant passages in the engine block. This sand sculpture is created inside a mold and molten iron or aluminum is poured to form the engine block. When the casting is cooled, the sand is removed through holes in the engine block casting leaving the passages that the coolant flows through. thus, if the holes are not plugged up, the coolant will pour right out. Plugging these holes is the duty of the freeze-out plug. These plugs are steel discs or cups that are press fit in the holes in the side of the engine block and usually last the life of the engine without problems. However there is a reason they are called freeze-out plugs. In the early times, many people used plain water in their engines, usually after replacing a burst hose or other completing cooling system repair. http://www.automobileglobe.com/what-are-engine-freeze-plugs/

The radiator core is basically made of flattened aluminum tubes with aluminum strips that are zigzag in-between the tubes. These fins sends the heat in the tubes into the air stream to be carried away from the automobile. On each end of the radiator core is found a tank, usually made of plastic that covers the ends of the radiator, On some modern radiators, the tubes go horizontally with the plastic tank on either side. On some other cars, the tubes are run vertically with the tank on the top and bottom. On older vehicles, however, the core was usually made of copper and the tanks were brass. The new aluminum-plastic system is somewhat more efficient, not to mention cheaper to produce. On the radiators with plastic end caps, there are gaskets between the aluminum core and the plastic tanks to seal the system and prevent the fluid from leaking out. On older copper and brass radiators, the tanks were brazed (awelding) in order to completely seal the radiator. SEE MORE AT;http://www.automobileglobe.com/facts-about-the-radiator/ |

The transmission is a device that is linked to the back of the engine and transfers the power from the engine to the drive wheels. An automobile engine operates at its optimum at a certain RPM (Revolutions Per Minute) range and it is the transmission’s responsibility to make ensure that the power is given to the wheels while keeping the engine within that range. It does this through different gear combinations. In first gear, the engine turns much faster in relation to the drive wheels, while in high gear the engine is running even though the car may be going in excess of 70 MPH. In addition to the different forward gears, a transmission also has a neutral position which disconnects the engine from the drive wheels, and reverse, which causes the drive wheels to turn in the opposite direction. Finally, is the Park position. In this position, a latch mechanism (not unlike a deadbolt lock on a door) is inserted into a slot in the output shaft to lock the drive wheels and stop them from turning, thus preventing the vehicle from rolling SEE MORE at;http://www.automobileglobe.com/how-automatic-transmission-works/

The hot fluid also called coolant is also used to provide heat to the interior of the vehicle whenever such is needed. This operates on a simple and straight forward system that is inclusive of a heater core, which looks like a small version of a radiator, linked to the cooling system with a pair of rubber hoses. One hose gets hot coolant from the water pump to the heater core and the other hose sends the coolant to the top of the engine. There is usually a heater control valve in one of the hoses to prevent the flow of coolant into the heater core when maximum air conditioning is required. A fan, always referred to as a blower, draws air through the heater READ MORE at;http://www.automobileglobe.com/how-your-heater-core-functions/ |
The coolant that passes through the engine and associated plumbing accessories must have the ability to withstand temperatures well below zero without freezing. It must also be able to handle engine temperatures in excess of 250 degrees without boiling. Seems like a long margin for any fluid, but that isn’t all. The fluid must also posses rust inhibiters and a lubricant. The coolant in modern vehicles is a mixture of ethylene glycol (antifreeze) and water. The recommended ratio is fifty-fifty. Basically, there are two types of cooling systems available on motor cars. First is the Liquid cooled and Air cooled. Air cooled engines are available on a few older cars, the likes of the original Volkswagen Beetle, the Chevrolet Corvair and a few others. However a good number of modern motorcycles still use the air cooling, but for the most part, however, automobiles and trucks use liquid cooled systems and that will form the focus of this post. The cooling system is summed up of the passages inside the engine block and heads, a water pump to circulate the coolant, a thermostat to regulate the temperature of the coolant, a radiator to cool the coolant, the radiator cap to control the pressure in the system, and some plumbing materials consist READ MORE at;http://www.automobileglobe.com/how-the-cooling-system-works/ |
The alternators work on the principle of electromagnetism to produce current. Here is how it works; If you take a strong magnet and pass it across a wire, that wire will generate a small voltage. Loop that same wire many more times, then if you pass the same magnet across the bundle of loops, a more sizable voltage is created =] in that wire. There are two main components that sum up an alternator. These are the rotor and the stator. The rotor is wired directly to the alternator pulley. The drive belt turns the pulley, which in turn spins the rotor. The stator is placed on the body of the alternator and remains immovable. There is just enough room in the center of the stator for the rotor to fit and be able to spin without having any contact. A cars’ drive shaft-the rotating object placed between the differentials and gear box. This helps it switch from idle to drive; without which a vehicle would hardly move. Normally, a drive shaft does not fail instantaneously, but deteriorates and fails over time. Thus, if drive shaft problems are diagnosed early, costly repairs could be avoided. There are various symptoms that indicate if your vehicle’s drive shaft is faulty. Vibration A damaged drive shaft can cause a vibrating car. A sway or stabilizer bar is a component that prevents the car body from leaning excessively and keeps the vehicle stable during driving in turns. Most vehicles have one sway bar in the front and yet another bar in the rear suspension while some cars have only one sway bar in the front suspension. Sports cars actually do have thicker sway bars that offers better stability when taking a corner. A sway bar is connected through rubber bushings to the vehicle frame in the middle. The outer ends of the sway bar are attached to the parts of the car suspension that holds the wheel (struts or control arm system). This component that links the outer ends of the sway bar to the suspension component is called a sway bar link. In most instances a sway bar link has two small ball joints at each READ MORE;http://www.automobileglobe.com/how-to-know-a-worn-sway-bar-link/ |

Introduction Landing in 2016, the Aston Martin Vantage comes with a new center console design and infotainment system adopted from the more expensive Vanquish. see more pictures at:http://www.automobileglobe.com/2016-aston-martin-v8-vantage-picture-review/ Thus the 2016 Aston Martin Vantage’s beauty is indeed timeless. Marking her 10th year on the market, the V8 Vantage and V12 Vantage sibs are just as striking as always. This is indeed a sufficient enough reason they attract their fair share of attention. Quites unfortunately however, the competition has improved markedly over the past decade, leaving the Vantage behind in many respects. http://www.automobileglobe.com/2016-aston-martin-v8-vantage-complete-review/

For every engine to crank and start, it requires four basic in variables: sufficient cranking speed, normal compression, sufficient ignition voltage, (there must be correct timing) and good quality fuel and a relatively rich air/fuel mixture at startup. So whenever there is a failure to start, you can rationally assume that your vehicle lacks one of these four essential variables. But the question is how do you know which one? To find out the one, you first need to calculate the situation. If the engine doesn’t crank, http://www.automobileglobe.com/car-engine-fails-start/ |

Having starting sales late 2015, the 2016 Toyota Mirai stands out as the first fuel cell hybrid electric vehicle (FCHEV) designed for public sale in North America region. It is really a a big deal because the technology has been struggling in the background for a couple of decades, but now, Toyota feels right and comfortable to be selling it outright. see also;http://www.automobileglobe.com/2016-toyota-miraipicture-review/ Similar development has been made on the refueling direction. There are now a small but growing number of retail hydrogen filling stations in the most major populated areas of California. http://www.automobileglobe.com/the-2016-toyota-mirai-review/

The 2016 XC60 picks up over from last year with minimal changes. However, the fold down front passenger seat feature has been left out. Introduction Over time, it’s been difficult for family cars to avoid a bad reputation of being boring; however Volvo is doing a great good job of giving her customers a fine alternative with its 2016 XC60. We’ve appreciated the XC60’s sleek good looks and stylish cabin since the model first appearance in 2010. The XC60 is still very much a Volvo at its core, though, and these attributes simply add pep to what is still a very sensible luxury crossover SUV. see more;http://www.automobileglobe.com/2016-volvo-xc60-review/ |
INTRODUCTION The ECT (Engine coolant temperature) sensor is a thermistor seen in the engine block or other coolant lead way. It varies resistance with variation in the temperature of the coolant that is in its contact. It comes as a two wire sensor. One wire is a 5 volt reference that issues from PCM (Powertrain Control Module) while the other is a ground supplied from PCM. As the of the coolant changes temperature, the resistance of the sensor changes too. When the engine is cold, the resistance becomes high but when the engine is warm, the resistance gets low. If the PCM finds a signal voltage lower than the normal working range of the sensor then P0117 code is triggered. SYMPTOMS Potential symptoms include: MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) illumination Poor fuel economy Poor drivability Engine may run rough or blow black smoke from the tail exhaust pipe, May not idle, May start and then die CAUSES. On the off chance that your vehicle dithers when your programmed transmission changes gears, check the transmission liquid level before you let any technician begin looking at overhauling or altering your transmission or offering you another one. To check your programmed transmission liquid, search for a dipstick handle standing out of your transmission. This is situated toward the back of an in-line motor on vehicles with back wheel drive. continue reading;http://www.automobileglobe.com/how-to-check-your-gearbox-oil/ |
