Congratulations to Aree Gani Adams.

Only, there is a little no need for war these days.

except for these Fulani herdsmen things from Oke-Oya,

And those alledged to have imported guns,

Aree, if not for the skull miners repping Yoruba nation

and the kidnappers that we thought were of the uncultured tribes,

and dear devil robbers on our high ways,

not forgetting the People hiding under no man land slogan to merchandise their evil stocks.

This attitude of trooping into a thread about crime just to check for ethnicity so that banters and taunts will be thrown, to me is childish. Crime should be condemned by all. Each tribe has a recurrent crime peculiar to them. I hate divisiveness. Can we as the future generation use the leverage of internet availability to keep Nigeria united and bring about the change of which we have been shortchanged of by our former and present leaders.

I hereby with regard to the above reason move the motion for the abolishment of NCAN forthwith.

God bless you all fellow Nigerians.

DONSMITH123:
Olalekan Adetayo, Abuja

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, on Tuesday said there was no other credible candidate for the 2019 presidential election that has the capacity to move Nigeria forward apart from President Muhammadu Buhari.

Ortom, a governor elected on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress, said this in an interview with State House correspondents shortly after he met with Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

While saying he is happy seeing Buhari “bouncing every day,” the governor prayed that God will help the President to lead the nation till 2023.

Ortom said, “I came to appreciate the President and to encourage him to be steadfast and committed to his leadership.

“I believe that what God brought him to achieve in this country, he will definitely achieve it.

“Now we see him bouncing every day to the glory of God. We appreciate this and we look forward that God will help him to take us through 2015 to 2019 and then 2019 to 2023.

“That is our prayer because for now, there is no credible candidate as far as I know that has the capacity to take Nigeria out of where we are today.

“I believe Mr. President has the capacity and let God sustain his health and consummate his healing so that Nigeria can be on the right path.”

nghubs1:
The Nigerian Army has denied rumours peddling on social media that the Nigerian Army is embarking on a medical outreach and injecting civilians with vaccines.

According to a statement released by the Deputy Director of Public Relations Col. Aminu Iliyasu, the Army would never embark on medical outreach in schools.

Though the Nigerian Army plans to undertake such gestures like free medical outreaches, sanitation exercises in host communities and distribution of educational materials as part of our community relations activities during the ongoing Operation CROCODILE SMILE II, these activities are yet to be conducted.

The statement reads

“The attention of Headquarters 6 Division Nigerian Army has been drawn to some rumours making the rounds that some Nigerian Army Personnel are going round schools in Rivers State dressed in Military Camouflage uniforms with the intention of forcefully vaccinating students with an unknown substance. The callous and unpatriotic rumours spread by these enemies of State are, to say the least, despicable, deplorable and highly condemnable by all well meaning Nigerians as they are intended to cause pandemonium among the general public.

“The authorities of 6 Division Nigerian Army wishes to inform the general public that while the Nigerian Army plans to undertake such gestures like free medical outreaches, sanitation exercises in host communities and distribution of educational materials as part of our community relations activities during the ongoing Operation CROCODILE SMILE II, these activities are yet to be conducted and will eventually be conducted with the consent of relevant authorities of designated communities and at venues and dates that will be duly communicated to the general public through future press releases and relevant posters.

“For the purpose of emphasis, the Nigerian Army does not and will never carry out its medical outreaches or vaccination exercises for that matter in Schools. We can therefore categorically inform the public that the ongoing rumours about Nigerian Army Personnel going round schools in military camouflage to forcefully immunize school children are not true and should therefore be discountenanced with. Additionally, members of the public are please requested to call 09072509436-8 to report any case of any impostor(s) that may be seen actually trying to commit such atrocities.

“You are kindly requested to disseminate this information to the general public through your medium. Thank you for your usual cooperation.

bumi10:
Leicester City have sacked manager Craig Shakespeare just four months after he signed a three-year deal to take the job on a permanent basis after Ranieri departed from the club.

The Foxes are third from bottom in the Premier League and have not won any of their past six league matches. Shakespeare, 53, succeeded title winner Claudio Ranieri in February, initially on a temporary basis.

After steering the Foxes away from trouble to finish in 12th place, he was given the job permanently in June. Shakespeare won eight of his 16 games in charge last season, and led the club to the Champions League quarter-finals.

Rumors has it that the 1-1 draw with West Brom on Monday prompted his departure. The last time Leicester went six league matches without a victory, Ranieri was sacked - nine months after leading them to the title.

Former Leicester player Gary Lineker highlights his dissatisfaction with some of the decisions made by the Leicester owners

U have marginalized us and done all sorts of atrocities against us, why dont u allow us rest, they will still be looking for provocations to tag us terrorists.
I have been all over the north apart from Yoba and borno the military presence in the north is very low, very very low. U can hardly see army around.

Police redeploy officers for allegedly ‘selling detained suspects’

Success Nwogu , llorin

The Kwara State Commissioner of Police , Mr. Lawan Ado , on Monday said the command had redeployed policemen at the Adewole Police Division in Ilorin , over an allegation against them.

He said some residents had alleged that some of the policemen in the division had been selling suspects detained at the station to ritual killers for N 80, 000 per person.

Ado said this during a visit of the District Governor, Rotary International , District 9125 , Mr. Mbanefo Nnoka , and his team to the command headquarters .

The CP said although the allegation was false , unfounded and untrue , the command redeployed the policemen to avoid needless rift .

He said the police had investigated the allegation and even asked members of the public with credible information indicting any of the police officers to make such available .

He added that no one had come forward with information and evidence to indict any police officer in the state for selling suspects to ritual killers .

Ado said , “But we have been redeploying the policemen there. More than half of them have now been transferred and soon , the other half will be redeployed so that even if there is anybody who is involved – which no information has established – we will at least remove him from the area . ”

Nnoka who oversees Rotary Clubs in 23 states and the Federal Capital Territory , Abuja , said Rotary had spent about $ 7 . 3 bn globally and N 300 m in Nigeria to fight polio .

He urged parents to continue to immunising their children against polio , saying it was sad that there were still some resistance against polio immunisation in Nigeria .

He urged Nigerians to cooperate with the police to fight crime , adding that policemen were friends of Nigerians.

PS: Every race has at some point been under influence of another. The Bini you know today was also at some point under the influence of the Nri Kingdom at its zenith likewise some parts of the Nri Kingdom being under the influence of the Bini Empire.
Historically, at least when considering documented history of ancient "Nigerian kingdoms" the Nri Kingdom had been noted to be the oldest.
