Your postulation above only confirm lack of trust regarding your own health. It really does expose how unhealthy you feel, I mean, thinking you might die before a 73yr old geriatric exposes your lifestyle.

Politics › Re: Why Buhari Has No Certificate - Col Ben Gbulie (rtd) by Leez(m): 1:07am On Jan 31, 2015
[quote author=APContherun post=30043687]More light have been thrown on the controversy surrounding the APC presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari and his release of a Toronto certificate to online media instead of INEC by Col. Ben Gbulie (rtd)'s scholastic narrative.
The situation in Nigeria pre and post Independent where unqualified people are favoured against the qualified, made it impossible for due process to be followed by Northerners who wanted to join the army or high institutions.
Buhari joined the army in 1962 and less than 2 months to this date, he has a letter claiming to be a student. He was six months in Military training school and went to UK and stayed six months for 3 years course, there was no time in record that Buhari went back to college to complete his secondary school.
According to Col. Ben Gbulie (rtd) writing, "By 1960, shortly after Nigeria's independence, the Prime Minister, Alhaji Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, had directed the Principal of King's College, Lagos, Mr. P.H. Davies, to provide places, annually, for at least 15 boys from the North, whether or not they passed the requisite regular entrance examination."
--- Col. Ben Gbulie (rtd) in "Nigeria's Five Majors" p. 36, published first in 1981.
"In an attempt to catch up militarily with the South, the Northern politicians had thrown out all discretion. They had lowered standards of admission drastically, settling for the minimum. For as I recalled, all the Northerners in my intake had been trained at the Mons Officer Cadet School in Aldershot. And they had become officers after barely six months of military training, whereas those of us who had been sent to Sandhurst had had to do two long years to earn the Queen's Commission. The implications were quite clear - and most disturbing. Not only had these Northerners become commissioned officers before we were half-way...
through our first year at Sandhurst, they had all risen to the enviable rank of Captain before we could even appear at the sovereign's parade which served essentially as a prerequisite for our passing out as Second Lieutenants."
--- Col. Ben Gbulie (rtd) in "Nigeria's Five Majors, pages 12 - 13, Published 1981.
"By 1964 a group of young Nigerian officer-cadets, mostly Northerners, had been declared academically unfit and hence repatriated by the Canadian military authorities. These cadets were however pronounced commissioned by the Nigerian Federal Government no sooner than they had arrived at the Ikeja Airport. Consequently they had had to be absorbed into the Nigerian Army as commissioned officers, even though they had received no requisite military training."
----- Col Ben Gbulie (rtd) in "Nigeria's Five Majors" page 13, published 1981.
"Zak (Maimalari) had held the rank of Captain in 1960. But before my return from the United Kingdom in 1963, he had soared to the top rank of Brigadier. In other words, he had risen from Captain to Temporary/Major, to Substantive/Major, to Temporary/Lieutenant-Colonel, to Substantive/Colonel and then to Brigadier, all within that short span of time. It was just scandalous".

Source? Don't ask, read Col. Gbulie's book.[/quo

Family › Re: Some Sweet USUALS Every Husband Is Supposed To Be Giving To His Wife by Leez(m): 9:53pm On Jan 26, 2015
emusmith:
Every Lady, I mean ALL are emotional and thus likes to be appreciated and loved, even the ones with seemingly loud mouth.

These things I'm about to mention are SUPPOSED to be usual but as time flies, men throw away their first love outa thin air. How pathetic!

I'm Single but I do believe (without apology or contrary opinions) that my future home will be Heaven on Earth because I'll make it work wink

I believe in love. I believe men ought to love their wives first, then upon her will come the inner strength to respect him unreservedly (some ladies be like, Now You're Talking smiley )- okay grin

I have a vision of still being romantic to my wife at 80 and beyond.

It's easy only if a guy and a girl can settle down to plan at courtship how their home should look like. I have seen a few homes like that and that made me feel like getting married almost immediately grin

I'm not a Woman Wrapper... But even if I am to one Lucky woman, it's worth it.

What Are Some Sweet Usuals Every Man Is Supposed To Be Giving To Her Wife?

1. Pillow fight

Many marriages lack this game. Pillow fights lessens Real fights. It unites two people together. Have you ever played a video game with a crush before? If you have, you'll understand what I'm saying. Guys, hit her softly sha o...wink...

2. Hold her hand in the street.

You may wonder why this is included... Except for some new couples and a few elderly ones, some men have gotten too familiar with their wives that they feel so " I dunno" to hold their wives hands on the street. As a matter of fact, this means a lot to her. It tells her your love for hasn't diminished a bit.

3. Be initiative enough to always take her out on special days.

Perhaps, you have grown up kids, take your wife out alone... The wife of your youth wink... It's Valentine's Day, go on a date with her to re-enact your love for her. Your company's party? Take her along even if she's pregnant unless she refuses...

4. Open the car door for her.

This isn't ancient. Doing it makes her feel really special. You treat her like a Queen, She treats you like a King, remember?
Do all you can to keep her smiling all the time- She is your wife o wink
Who says it's wrong to buy her flowers...?

5. Wash her clothes even when she didn't ask

Some men are like King Kong. They so hold tenaciously the school of thought that doing such things for a Lady you're in relationship with makes her belittle you...That's Low Self Esteem! The Normal Ones respect and love you the more...You're helping her. 90% of women love this... Some will Form they don't but they do. Not when she is pregnant o, when she's okay and even lazily walking around...smiley

6. Buy her little things she adores like her favorite chocolate etc.

Have you witnessed a lady in tears before just because she is trying to convey her feelings for you?
What makes this happen is because you're helping her. Money isn't everything- it's important but not in this context! The gold diggers, will say otherwise. When you buy her those little things, you're telling her how THOUGHTFUL you are. An example is: After many weeks, I called a girlfriend just some hours before her exams and her reply was, "So you still remembered". I sensed something. Small things makes her let out the Big things.

7. Help Her In The Kitchen

Helping your wife in the kitchen does not mean wanting to show your cooking tech... Mba! It's not forming "I can do it better". In fact, hide your cooking skills! Don't get her to feel like the 2nd best...hype her, tease her...that she cooks excellently even if she sucks at it. If she's smart and wise, she'll put more effort to improving her skills if necessary. Your wife owns the kitchen. You own the yard. Help her cut onions, peel the yams and slice the tomatoes. Work as a team! Your mummy visiting you guys shouldn't try to lord it over her in HER kitchen... unless there's an understanding smiley

SUMMARY: This thread is my belief system. Other threads might not totally agree but... I believe strongly this is how ME and every other guy aspiring to be a Father, Husband and the Head of the home some day ought to comport ourselves with our wives. wink

Ladies: You can add more.

Guys: What do y'all think? cheesy
Be like u dy live for yankee
For naija hia all ds talk na long thing ooo
Even the wife go ask is everything all right??
Open car door muahaaahaahahahahaahahahahaa

emusmith:
DISCLAIMER: Forgive me ahead... I'm speaking as it is in my head grin. I AM NOT GENERALIZING...wink

So, I choose to give reasons why you will see a grown up man in his forties still single.

Don't give me the money excuse crap... No matter how broke you are, your size dey market...cheesy

They're very poor couples enjoying life here in PH and other big cities in Nigeria...

So your size exist unless your problem is any of these NINE CRUCIAL points Most Nigerian Men Don't Get Married.

Follow me closely wink. Most Nigerian Men Are...

1. Too Choosy (Highly Selective)

It will amaze you but it's true. He wants a girl with the perfect butt, eyes, nose, teeth etc. Anyone not meeting his expectations, he uses and dumps!

2. Too Promiscuous

Searching for male virgin is like searching for diamonds: they exist though. This is because the average Nigerian man has the "side chick". He feels safer that way wink

3. Too Proud (Egoistic)

Marriage humbles any body! Most men don't want that so they remain single. It takes normal humility to carry your wife's bag or even help her do some chores. An humble man doesn't reply to all his wife says. He takes them with a pinch of salt.

4. Too Indecisive

Today, he says he wants to marry from East, tomorrow from South South. Today he wants to marry this year, tomorrow he postpones it until the girl leaves his life...time dey go smiley

5. Too Over demanding

He wants everything to be done his way- from her looks to how she eats... That's horrible! Feature of a tyrant.

6. Too Mean

They've been dating only for a year and he has hit her 10 times. He talks to her as if they're in a battle! Haba!

7. Too Insensitive ( Not thoughtful)

You forgot her birthday and other days that means a lot to her. She is in pain and you're still demanding for sex. Some men sha...

8. Too busy making money

Many manchellors are so because of this.

Many guys in their 30's are so money driven that they have forgotten they need a wife. They are still after "hookers" and small girls. Hmm!

9. Too stingy

Some one said: You can give without loving but you can't love without giving.

Those guys asking questions about giving to their girls- Hope this helps. No girl will and forever will marry a stingy guy!
I'm not saying you should give to every girl but the one you claim to like. No naa!

This is a counter thread...wink

Guys, take it light enh...cheesy
