proudlyYoruba: I am not tribalistic but your stupid comment will make me. We know how you people will start a shop with 2 frames then move to 20 frames when you go village then the next thing we see are cars and house. Don't tell me you are good at business. And back to Awo, he and Zik are mate. No argument Zik is an intelligent man and good orator. Analyze your political background all you see are muscular men with no brain, and Awo showed even the great general. Gowon the way to go. That intelligence you cannot fathom it so your generation will just keep focusing their resources on hate till you guys expire. Ma salam There is nothing to hold against us We have produced one of the finest politicians in this country. Both men and women. Our sons are doing the country proud in EVERY human endeavour. You don't question us when we produce Kanu Nwankwo, Chioma Ajunwa, Achebe, Emegwali etc but you often question us when we start small and grow big in business. Hypocrisy is bad. We are making waves everywhere. Linda Ikeji lives in Island and Wizy lives in mainland and was blabbing. .....typical of Afonjas. These are sons and daughters of brave men that were given 20 naira after the war. As far as human life is concerned, those our brave soldiers remain better than the Awo who took his life on hearing that his slave masters who jailed him were coming after him for the second time. Nnamdi can was bold enough to call Buhari a mad man even in captivity......its just who we are |

superstar1: take ojukwu and osu prophets serious at your own peril.
They will never see how they can stem the rate of migration from their region, they will never see how they can stop kidnapping, baby factory, armed robbery, prostitution, killings, cultism, money rituals and other crimes that pervade their region.
Ojukwu and Osu Prophets try harder. Our president will not die. We know of your hatred for him, just because he defeated your hero the corruption personified mandela of otuoke, your hero and for jailing your messiah ''Our Dilector'' for committing treasonable felony tha God Almighty did not even condone with Lucifer. Your Awo was an ex convict and as if that wasn't enough, he drank rat poison. How else can you define cowardice? Even Afonjas dey counsel people on stopping rituals. He hehe wonders |

Politics › Re: Buhari Can’t Stop Me From Succeeding Him In 2019 – Sule Lamido by legendte(m): 9:12am On Jan 04, 2017 |
Corrinthians: Now, let me tell these political neophytes sometging they seem not to understand.
Personally, i would love to see a younger candidate take Buhari's place come 2019 BUT there's a political hazard that might arise from having anyone at all replace the old man. For fairness and political stability, our leader (even though we can hardly refer to them as "leaders" had a tacit agreement power would be rotated between the North and South every 8years. Jonathan as we know violated that "agremment" by running for office in 2011.
Now, we all know if someone else takes Buhari's place, we'd be looking at a situation where power is tetained in the North for no less than 12years! Some people might wanna broker some deal with whoever it is that appears most likely to succeed him in 2019 to stay for just a single term, and of course he'd agree, but trust politicians, we'd have the exact same situation we had with jonathan in the run-up to 2011, with all the attendant political upheaval. We dont have a Mandela in this country and we all know we can hardly find someone who'd voluntarilly decline taking a second bite of the forbidden fruit.
So, with or without Buhari's flaws, it appears we are stuck with him- except of course we are willing to give up our right to crying foul over Northern political dominance! Treat yourself of this mental illness. This is another way of blackmailing us into settling for less. Buhari has until the end of next year to prove that he deserves a second chance. If his score card doesn't impress the electorates, then we should voice it through our votes. If another northerner takes over from him come 2019, he has the burden to prove he deserves a second chance as allowed by the constitution. Competence should be the key thing here. Back to your line of argument, South took 13 years out of the 16years of PDP so the argument is flawed on any logic. It is fair and just if they take longer than 8 years PROVIDED COMPETENCE is the selling point. |

Politics › Re: Shekau Surfaces In New Video, Says Boko Haram Not Crushed by legendte(m): 2:30pm On Dec 29, 2016 |
SmartyPants: If i do recall correctly, it was under these two men that:
1. Boko Haram became an issue in Nigeria not so?
2. It was under Goodluck Jonathan that they spiralled out of control.
3. It was under GEJ that hundreds of innocent children were kidnapped in one night from the same location despite there being prior information about an impending attack;
4. It was under GEJ that Nigerian citizens for the first time in two generations, became internally displaced persons.
5. It was under GEJ that for the first time in two generations, 3 whole states of Nigeria were outside government control.
6. It was under GEJ that billions of naira budgeted for arms and soldiers welfare, were diverted, sending hundreds of gallant young man to premature deaths.
7. It was under GEJ that the army was indicted on a massive scale, in the capture, torture and murder of random males both young, old, and underaged. Which till today, as we are speaking, no one has been called to book for.
8. It was under GEJ that for the first time in our nations history, Nigerian troops at war openly mutinied against their commanding officer, a general, out of desperation.
In light of the above, which are well-known to the general public, how can you then, in good conscience, come out with the bolded? Both of us know fully well that non of the two leaders instigated the crime. There's no known human rights abuse or political killings under them. Boko Haram or terrorism was the first to hit the nation. Northern leaders didn't help out. Well equipped countries in the world find it difficult to win war on terror, how much more an ill equipped country with zero coordination of security like Nigeria. Just tell me any role the leaders in the North helped in the fight. Presidency recently claimed that Buhari has not spoken about the kaduna killing because the chief security officer...The governor is on top of the matter. Chibok girls were kidnapped yet the governor who is the chief security officer didn't inform the commander in Chief. Gov Ugwuanyi called Buhari after the Nimbo attack and followed up with a visit 48 hours later. We heard of political killings under OBJ, Odi massacre under OBJ and the killing of IPOB and SHITE under Buhari. |

EdoNation: Nigeria Army and handlers of the war against Terror should be looking more indiscreetly.
I feel Shekau, just like Osama BinLaden, isn't in the Sambisa forest that has the so much focus.
He's somewhere entirely close or far from the ravaged Sambisa.
US made same mistake for years bombing the hell out of Torabora mountains and the Mountainous regions of North Warizstan of Pakistan, until they found him sipping coffee in a Mansion in Pakistan Army town of Abottabad; an equivalent of Nigeria's Zaria.
