writerights: Statsocial, I still feel school with below 150 shouldn't even run the programme. They make life miserable for their students by dishing them extremely poor grades. Unfortunately, their gullible students still believe the poorer their grades are, the better product they become after graduation. Tha is not true, how does number of accredited correlates with performance? Take for example Adekunle Ajasin University in Ondo state. The faculty has just 70 students quota for admission into law school and admits around that range too. Except for few faculties in thr country we have one of the best in the country coupled with being the cheapest state university. You can correlate this by checking our performance in law school, we have produced at least one first class student in law school in the last four years and only 2 people have achieved that here. Most of the universities thrive on big name sir. |

How would you know that the unscrupulous ones hide billions of dollars on farms, grave hards, suckaway pits, tanks etc.? How would you know that Deziani bribed INEC officials with N23b in the last 2015 elections to achieve victory for Jonathan and his cronies. How would you know that Femi Aluko (Deziani's boy boy) bought a Yatch (Boat) worth N32b. Hmmm, how would you know, how would you know...? if not for the Best President of our time. .

We all know that the House of Assembly/House of Legislatives are part of the rots in our country and we are eagerly waiting for them comes 2019. We also know that their end is near because the lives of innocent people that died as a result of their callous ways will hunt them down. . PMB, God bless and guide you for us. . Sterope: Actually no. Law school grading is very unusual. You are graded with you lowest grade, so;
5As-first class; 4As and 1B+ is a 2:1; 4As and 1B is a 2:2 and 4As and 1C is a pass.
Basically a 2:2 could be 5Bs and a pass could be 4As and 1C or 3As, 1B+ and 1C. Please which one is B+ |

But Nigerian Christians u know, they are.... . Do you need religion to tell you what's reasonable? Or you expect your "holy book " to contain everything before you do it. I don't know about your religion but I know that it a wise thing to do... No wonder despite the long years of Northerners in power they are still the poorest. We attach religion to a lot of unnecessary things in this country and your leaders will keep appealing to your religion. It is Unislamic to do family planning but it is Islamic to do 2-some and even demand for sex from prostitutes. Well done Northerners! |

Politics › Re: INEC Serves Dino Melaye Recall Notice At The Senate (Photos) by LegitBoy(m): 3:58pm On Sep 28, 2017 |
bkool7: Let me show you how stupid this ur imaginary lacuna is.
What if its the Senate President thats being recall?
https://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/07/10-steps-recall-senator-nigeria/
The steps are: 1 More than half of the registered voters in the Senator’s senatorial district write, sign and send a petition to the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC alleging their loss of confidence in the senatorial
2 The petition must be signed, and arranged according to polling units, wards, Local Government Areas, and constituency.
3 INEC notifies the Senator sought to be recalled, stating that it has received a petition for his or her recall, if the petition is valid
4 INEC issues a public notice or announcement stating the date, time and location of the verification of signatures to the petition
5 INEC verifies the signatures to the petition at the designation. The signatories must be individuals who appear on the voters’ register.
6 INEC conducts a referendum if more than one half (50% + 1) of the signatories are verified
7 INEC writes to the petitioners stating that the minimum requirements for a referendum were not met, if the number verified is less than one half of the registered voters in that constituency. The petition will therefore be dismissed.
8 INEC conducts a referendum within 90 days of receipt of the petition if the minimum requirements for a referendum are met. The referendum will be a simple yes or no vote on whether the Senator should be recalled, and will be decided by simple majority of the votes of the persons registered to vote in that Senator’s constituency.
9 If majority of the voters in the constituency vote ‘yes’ the Chairman of the INEC will send a Certificate of Recall to the Senate President to effect the recall.
10 The Senate President will show affected senator the way out of the Senate. Ordinarily, I'm not supposed to dignify your quote with a response on here since you can't air your view without tantrums throwing, it is called an opinion for a reason since there is no settles law on it yet. Section 69 of the constitution provides that: (1) A member of the Senate or of the House Representatives may be recalled as such a member if- (a)… (b) the petition is thereafter, in a referendum conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission WITHIN NINETY DAYS OF THE DATE OF RECEIPT OF THE PETITION, approved by a simple majority of the votes of the persons registered to vote in that member’s constituency. On the strength of this Dino’s recall is dead by effluxion of time because the 90 days within which he was to be recalled expired on the 23rd of September, 2017. Even the Court of law has no power to extend the time. In the light of the foregoing, the only option left for Kogi electorates is to start the recall process all over again. Please do ensure you have perused relevant laws before you recognized a "stupid" view next time. Shalom. |
Politics › Re: INEC Serves Dino Melaye Recall Notice At The Senate (Photos) by LegitBoy(m): 5:41pm On Sep 26, 2017 |
INEC cannot successfully recall Dino unless the leadership of the Senate really wants it. There is a big lacuna on the part of our law. For example the law stipulates that the process will be conclusive if the Senate president believes "in his opinion" that there are legitimate petitions.. .. This is the end of it because the law has already put it at the discretion of the leadership of the house. Believe me this is leading nowhere. |

FortifiedCity: Atiku should just go and sit down
Meanwhile I need to pour out my heart: The most hypocritical President in the world, Buhari illegally sent his Fulani army to shoot and maim innocent and unarmed civilians in the SE just because they are demanding for self independence.
He has always shown his hatred just because he is low in thinking and can't stand on his own. You do not expect so much from a man with no conscience and human wisdom. So I will let that pass.
My issue is with those ones who are rejoicing that some people's right were trampled in broad daylight. The hausas, I really Pity them because the fulani has subdued them to the point where they have no power of their own. They are simply used to fulfill the wishes of the fulanis who originally are not Nigerians but are wanderers who settled here and somehow established themselves here. I pity them really. I think they are basically doing the bidding of their masters.
As for the Yorubas who rejoice at the army invasion, I will call them my second brothers because truly they are; brothers who rejoice at the pain of a brother, brothers who prefer alliance with the common enemy to defeat his brother, brothers who is in an imaginary battle for wealth with his brother, therefore he sees every oppression against his brother as an advantage for him to surpass him in wealth acquisition, brothers who would want to do something but are too timid to set the pace but when his brother intitates it,he sees it as an affront to him, therefore he wants his brother's idea subdued. What a brother.
As for the few Igbos who are rejoicing, they are simply wayward sons, prodigal sons whose father calls and prays that he gets wisdom. They are the judas but I Pray they do not commit suicide.
What goes around comes around. If you are happy that a blood sucker invaded your region and killed, raped and destroyed properties all in the name of silencing cries for self determination, remember that tomorrow, you may cry but there will be non to hear your cry because all those who would have stood for you, you watched them killed without speaking against it.
Karma is a ...... This is my problem with humans, we are so quick to blame our adversaries on every other person other than ourselves. Why the hasty generalization that some people hate you? Isntvit funny that you think your tantrums throwing Nnamdi Kanu shouldn't be blame? It goes long way to show the kind of person you really are... ..almost everyone in this country knows how failed this country and the present government is but common somethings are way of it. What reaction were you expecting from the Federal government when Kanu started displaying "Secret Service and National Guards" ? Of course that is there opportunity to clamp down on him. A fool will always shoot himself, please go read up about pro-independence agitators and see how learned they are in thoughts and actions not someone saying " I'm going to Abuja to bring Buhari's head" among other beer parlour talks, I wonder what sense is in that. With what I have seen recently there is really no difference between those blindly defending Buhari on here and kanu's apologists.. .both groups are morons. |

attackgat: Hiw where they a menace? Dud they touch anyone? Where they armed? How exactly did they create this fear with no arms? Boss let's be sincere to ourselves for once, I stay here and I can confidently say the fear has gone for away for now. In Anambra people in my area have been scared of coming out to participate in the forthcoming election not because of respect for IPOB but the fear. We all know this present government is a disaster and has failed irretrievably but I don't agree with Kanu's ways too. We were all living in fear and I'm partly grateful that is gone now, before you label us cowards please do ask yourself if war breaks out what will Kanu do to help the Igbo nation? With which Army will Biafra defend her land? Ojukwu lasted that long because he was a military governor with standing Army. Nobody should drag the Igbo nation to another genocide while we will continue to call for restructuring of the country or secession through referendum not some empty threats. |
