Lemonadewifey: Good evening mama. I'm currently using molfix pant for my daughter and I usually see lines on her waist as a result of the band does it mean she has passed that size ( we use size 2 and she's just 5weeks and some days old) 2, Her poo leaks out and stains her dress especially if she's either laying down or if carried. Do you experience this with your son? I want to know if I got the fake please. 1. If your baby is on a big side, maybe the size two is small for her. My baby uses size 3 and he os almost 6 months. 2. I experience this only when i didn't notice on time that he has pooed and if the poo is much. It happens mostly when he is sitting down or carried in the sitting position |

Giddyperson: Don't pressure yourself, if you can't sleep at night, find something useful to do with the time, if you feel less pressure to fall asleep, sleep would come.
For your second question, why haven't you asked your school if they would let you bring the baby. You're the only one that knows how your work environment is and if they would let you carry your baby. Or you can get a post-secondary school age help to come to school with you and watch the baby.
As for creche, I don't know how much the school pays and if it's worth spending money on a creche. My cousin who teaches in a secondary school put her baby in a creche close to her school where she paid N500 per day. She said their services were decent and i thought the price was fair enough considering her salary and the fact that there were days she could take the baby with her to school. So if you find a service like this too, you could consider creche. Thanks mama will ask my colleagues at work. |

Please mamas i need advice, DS will be 3 months next month and i am going to be resuming work soon too. I dunno if its okay to put him in creche though I teach in a govt secondary school and i don't know if its allowed to take him to work with me. Please don't jump and pass |

greatp80: Have you tried taking a glass of warm milo and milk before bedtime. Dim or off your light.
Also check if you are under pressure and try to unburden your heart. After all these, close your eyes and meditate on positive things, before you know it, you are off to lalaland. Thanks mama, will try that. |

babythug: Read up on colic in babies
Let baby sleep more on his/her tummy
Avoid eating foods prone to build up of gas in your system- beans, dairy products, soft drinks etc etc
Massage baby’s tummy with a warm Towel - this one is probably a placebo sha
Lay baby on the back and move the legs in a bicycle motion
Good luck Thanks for your response. Really appreciate |

SlimBrawnie: I suspect it is Colic. For my baby, I got infacol for him and sometimes, I position him on his back and move his legs in a bicycling motion, then put a little pressure on his stomach to move the gas through. It was quite relieving for him. Other sabi mamas will put mouth and you could search for other colic remedies using the search button. Thanks for your response. Will try that, really really appreciate |

Toopee: Sabi mamas pls come o, my baby grunts and stretches a lot at night that it’s difficult for her to sleep and when she does that, her stomach tightens with each distressed sound she makes. It has stopped for few days and now she has it last night and it’s worse this time around that nobody could sleep. We are at MIL’s and she already got several herbs for her when the thing wasn’t much because she believed it’s her navel giving her discomfort. She gave her twice which there was no result and instructed me to be giving her ( she handed the herbs to me) I never for once gave her those because I’m not comfortable with those concoction on a baby that’s still developing her organs.
I could have gone to the hospital but the private hospital I went to when I wasn’t feeling well gave me 18injections in 3days with several drugs and I’m still here battling with same symptoms so I don’t want my baby to be experimented on. I’ve been to general hospital trice and I was unable to see the doctor. Please mamas, who has experienced this issue before should come to my aid pls. My baby does the same too. Please sabi mamas should answer abeg. We go appreciate |

irene670: Good evening sabi mamas. please whats the difference between ring circumcision and ordinary circumcision? Someone advised me to go for the ring one but the hospital i checked out for that said they don't do ring one but ordinary one. Pls any idea on this issue will be helpful to me Go to a general hospital. For my DS i did the ring and i really liked it cos it didn't take long b4 it healed up not even upto a week sef so i will advice you go for the ring and ut doesn't have so much stress like the conventional one. I paid 5k for it. That's the amount it is done in Lagos here i guess |
