Lionel Messi has reportedly been advised to continue attending Barcelona training for the foreseeable future.

Earlier this week, Messi informed club officials that he wishes to leave Camp Nou this summer, allegedly citing a free transfer clause in his contract.

However, with that option having expired on June 10, Barcelona will rebuff any attempts from the 33-year-old to depart the club without a fee being involved.

Although negotiations regarding an exit are likely to be prolonged, TyC Sports suggests that Messi has been told to continue with business as normal.

The Argentine's legal representatives are said to be wanting the forward to turn up at training on Monday in a bid to avoid handing Barcelona any leverage behind the scenes.

Messi, who has less than 12 months on his contract, is reportedly attracting attention from Manchester City, Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United.

In as much I concord with what you posted but the acts being committed in the norths are always underreported unlike in the south where they exposed the perpetrators of the act.
Mind you I base in Kano and was born and raised there. I am currently working with an NGO so I know what am ventilating.
But the tribe shouldn't be attacked but the acts. All perpetrators of this acts need to be punished under the law but is unfortunate that at the end it will just be swept under the carpet.

Leeds United have signed Spain forward Rodrigo from Valencia for a club record 29m euro (£26m) fee.

In the post, it was stated that the IPOB guys were armed with charms and were attacking the DSS officials that came earlier on with stones, bottles, etc. In fact, an operative was apprehended
(who knows his or her fate in the hands of IPOB boys ).

Also stated was that a bystander may have been killed by the boys for not handing over the phone he was using to capture the event.

It's clear that it was the second coming (reinforcement) that overpowered the IPOB boys and got many IPOB members killed - mainly those who awaited the second coming of the security operatives, and as at then were already setting up bonfires and obstructing public way.

I do not support extrajudicial killings whatsoever. I believe in the rule of law. I see this as excessive use of force, I even question the legality of the ban on IPOB organization neither do I support unlawful acts.

However, as it is legally, IPOB is a proscribed body. Their meetings are deemed illegal which would be unallowed by the police and other security agencies.

If IPOB and their activists feel displeased about the proscription, they should approach the courts. Get the proscription removed, then can they resume their meetings or other lawful activities.

This to me will go a long way to avert this senseless and unwarranted loss of lives. #WeAreImportant

The National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control, NAFDAC, on Tuesday, said chloroquine is effective in the early stages of COVID-19 infection.

The Director-General of NAFDAC, Professor Mojisola Adeyeye, said this during an online news conference, where she also confirmed that the agency received about 40 applications for the approval of herbal formulations for the treatment of COVID-19 from researchers in the country.

Adeyeye emphasised that there was no cure for COVID-19 yet and warned that any claim of cure must be subjected to clinical trials following an approved clinical trial protocol.

“Until a clinical trial is done in a scientific manner, no herbal medicine manufacturer can claim cure or effectiveness to treat COVID-19 associated symptoms.

“I believe that Nigeria’s herbal medicines may be able to cure COVID-19. They have a lot of potentials and it is time to translate the research of herbs into products of proven safety and efficacy, for the benefit of our people.”

Further, giving update on the use of chloroquine for treatment of COVID-19, Adeyeye said that the drug is working but only at the early stage.

“We have realised that chloroquine is effective at the early stage. I was watching CNN about four days ago and heard Sanjay Gupta, the medical doctor, and correspondent mention for the first time that chloroquine can be used prophylactically.

“This was in the US, and to come from him was significant because all the while he had been saying that it was not effective, but this was proving it. If something is working prophylactically, it means that the illness will not progress.”

In her argument, Adeyeye stated that science does not lie but had been mixed with politics.
