Eat will actions do, stop the killings? Instead of them to send us soldiers come face boko haram for forest them dey talk sanctions |
anonimi:u forged a university certification, you used it for employment and u where employed by shell. Bcus shell emoloy you using ur forged certificate, does it mean it's not forged? |
Sonnobax15:really, since u know pdp has done all this before, then why are u supporting the people who where in that pdp before now na. What happen to all the youth supporting a neutral person like VDM, even buying him a nomination form, and vote for him massively, the youth alone can decide the fate of Nigeria. But all of them are busy choosing side with same old politicians |
wellmax:hmm, this is exactly the double standard I'm talking about, it's not only in this case, but it's visible all over Nigeria youth even past years, some people will do something and they will support and hail him, but let people they don't support do that sane thing, they will crucify him online. Nigerians are just like Chelsea fans, just noise makers |
PulaPower:the West love sharing rice, the east love sharing kerosene, what does the north love sharing? |
Obainomilano:I am just laughing because here is what will happen. If your political party or your preferred person gets into power and someone tries to remove them by coup, you will strongly condemn that coup. You will call for the heads of the coup plotters. But the same people who are now calling for the heads of the current coup plotters will then support that future coup. So everyone just changes their mind based on which side they are on. That is Nigeria for you. Everything is just politics and sides. Everyone sees their own side as the messiah, even when both sides are the same group of people who have already held important positions in this country before. And Nigeria remains the same. Funny set of people. There is this activist who has never held any political post in Nigeria. What is his name again? He has been very vocal and has run for president many times, but nobody pays him attention. He is not connected to any old leader or northern cabal. That is the type of person who does not owe anyone anything. If the youth backed someone like that, he would definitely try his best. Not all these past leaders who have nothing new to offer and are just obsessed with power. What are Atiku, El-Rufai, Kwankwaso, David, Obi, Fayemi, Rotimi, Wike, ambode, Fayose, Tinubu coming to do? We have been complaining about bad leadership in Nigeria for the past 30 years. These people were the leaders back then. If they did not transform Nigeria then, how can you magically think they can do it now? Especially now that the whole world is in turmoil and there is a recession everywhere. The world economy is not what it was 15 or 20 years ago. The present leaders in Nigeria are still the same set of people who have one way or the other held leadership positions before, yet things remain the same. This should tell you that doing the same thing over and over will not work. Recycling old leaders will not change anything. I know you will not understand what I am saying because you will hold tightly to the point that I am against what you support. You might even try to counter me with baseless points. That is expected. And I am not trying to convince anyone. I am just stating a point from someone who has not chosen sides and is just watching from afar. Although even a fresh candidate with no political history might still fail. That is because the problem is not just the individual leader. The real problem is the system. Corruption is very deep. Our institutions are weak. Many people working in government from the local level to the federal level are not ready to work for the country. So even if a good person becomes president, the people around him may block him. But still, trying a completely new person who owes nobody anything is better than recycling the same old faces. Because Nigeria cannot keep doing the same thing and expect change. That is just a fact. |

Thus is the reason why VDM no dey praise Tinumbe at all even if he do good, lol. Bcus ge no say our youth for nigeria daft, and most youth no like Tinubu. If he talk good thing about Tinubu like this he go lose many supporters quickly. So he just dey give the youth what dey want and he stays neutral and he call out the govt when necessary. Lol. Wise very dark man |
masterfactor:even with clear evidence they will still have something to say |
esnbrutality:u are still playing politics. If u really want better for Nigeria, u will have realise non of the past and present politicians in Nigeria can make that happen. I dont play politics, I dont know any names. All I hope for is all of them going one by one until we have new sets |
Vision101:make money how, or they stole money |
Leepeak:bcus Herbert na ur guy. Now there is nothing wrong in have 106 highly property outside. The way he acquired the money to get those properties no consign you. But if too say no be ur guy, he for consign u abi |
olaniyilukman:who was the cbn govornor that empower them? Or are u saying federal govt should forget democracy and take over all factions, govornors, judges etc and control them by the President. No more democracy just like China. The center should control all and all |
Kastonkastroll:isn't this what we wanted in Nigeria, all our past leaders should go one by one. Or are u against this bcus it's been carried out by a party you dont support?. |
koolib:some other people would have started crying which hunt, why did they not probe so and so, why did they probe only him. |
The tanker driver parked at the middle of the road, I mean the fast lane, he parked there to buy bread. Nigerians and her government sha. Same characters |
10 years ban loading for senegal |
Shouldn't she be arrested as an accomplice, since she knew her husband is a bandit. She kept leaving with him, probably cooking for his kidnap victim and she didnt report him to the secolurity agency, isn't that enough evidence to pick her up. She still have the got to post online |
adaxme:he should just sell one of his fancy cars, add it to the 300m he want to use for fixing the basic school, he shoukd do the riad plus the school for them, then make he compt his hand pata pata and put his nans fir the road. |
Its religion USA want to use to enter Nigeria matter. They atr building it up small small, the finsh Venezuela case enter iran own, once them finish iran maybe its Nigeria next |
Brendaniel:who said GEJ should not have balls like Trump and Tinubu. When late buhari wanted to remove subsidy, opposition also oppose him and he didn't. Then came the baba nla, the one with the balls. He removed subsidy even before his inauguration. That is what we call balls. If GEJ really knows what he was doing then and stand his ground just the way Tinubu did, he would have successfully removed subsidy then. All he want was he was only finding good face so he will go for second term that is why he revert. Tinubu no send una, first term or not, Baba remove subsidy sharply |
Mattswaggz:seems u guys dont even read the lines. Trump that has been finding a way to stay in power for ever till aged just like putin, Netanyahu, China leader, North Korea leader. That is exactly what tryo is gunning for deep down in his heart, to stay in power 10- 20 years. Since he got into power this 2nd term, its trouble upon trouble. Though I know bcus ur thought has already been one-sided, and u have chosen sides already, you wont be able to understand or see what others sees. Anyways this is for educational purposes only. Not an attack |
QuinQ:yes we can say many things came up and its not nairaland's fault, but we shouldn't forget then, it was twitter and nairaland forum that has the most traffic and sometimes compete in Nigeria. I could also remember people have been asking for changes and update long time ago, so the forum could compete. Where is twitter today?. Yet we can categoraly compare twitter with nairaland because they are far apart and they serve different purposes. But nonetheless twitter engages in constant upgrade |
Only 13 page yet for this your post. When nairaland was at its primed, this your post would have definitely reached 40pages by now. There was a time I could never resist the urge to check nairaland every 30min every day for 365 days. But now, I can go days without even login in. |
Richtaiwo:u can just type it on chatgpt na, just a simple prompt, 'why did the CBN mob up dollars in Nigeria to prevent naira futhrr appreciation against the dollars.' I wonder how most Nigeria are graduate with first class or second class upper o. |
ahmedio2017:In Nigeria, this statement sounds nice but it’s not the reality for many students. Plenty of parents only handle the beginning, then leave the child to struggle through the rest of university alone fees, rent, feeding, everything. What makes it worse is the attitude. Many of these same parents disappear when the student is suffering, but once the child succeeds, they quickly come out to claim the glory and say they “trained” the child. If the child fails, they distance themselves and blame the same child. Let’s be honest many Nigerian students succeed because of their own struggle and resilience, not because they were fully supported from start to finish. |
Julibet:someone clearly admit on social media that she takes codien which is illegal and she broke the law, yes she might need mental help, but she will receive the help in jail. If police search you on the way and deybsaw codien in your position, you will explain tire in jail |
energy37:OK. Pls tell this to the people that are still insulting the President that we dont have 24hrs power in Nigeria. What are you even trying to claim from your writeup? Bcus I dont understand how it correlate with what I said |
YesDaddyTill203:Nigeria does not have the money to achieve 24hrs electricity yet even if they want to. Using the current Nigeria national budget, that is if you are to divert all the budget to electricity, it will still take about 8 to 10 years accumulation to get the amount that might give us 24hrs electricity |

. Hasn't it gone into oblivion?
