This time around, Marco Rubio is calling it Fulanu ethnic militias mudding Christians in Nigeria.

We all know bandits don’t look at whether a person is Muslim or Christian before mudding people but I kinda like the viability this is gaining.

Trump should put body and send some support for Nigeria government to curb the herdsmen menace once and for all if he truly cares about Nigeria Christian. They should supply Nigeria fully the necessary military tech and intelligence needed to hasten the end to this menace.

Anything contrary to the above, he is just showing fake love to Nigeria Christian.

That guy should've been deleted from your contacts by now. Once I sense you're not getting productive after the initial giving, then you're on your own.

The man got cozy thinking he's got a rich brother (like plenty of our Naija babes). The best move is to stop giving him for a year or two till you see he's got specific plans for the cash, ones you're actually aware of. Then tell him if he flops, it's on him - no blame on you. You could even get your family to witness when you're handing over the money, so he ain't got no excuses.

And if you decide to cut him off, that's your call. Don't let nobody get comfortable with your hard-earned sweat.

BusinessRe: 7 Red Flags When Shopping Online In Nigeria by Lekan239(m): 12:57pm On Oct 29, 2025
Onetechnews:
When we say something is a red flag, it simply means something doesn’t sit right; it gives that uneasy feeling in your chest that says, “Something is off here.” And if you’ve ever been a victim of those tricky online vendors, you already know the kind of heartbreak that comes from ordering something beautiful online and receiving something that looks like it came straight out of a nightmare. That moment of “What I ordered vs What I got” can drain your trust in online shopping.

Let’s face it, online shopping in Nigeria can be both a blessing and a curse. One moment, you’re scrolling through a page filled with beautiful dresses, sneakers, gadgets, or wigs, and the next, you’re regretting why you didn’t just go to the market yourself. To save you from another round of disappointment, here are 7 red flags you should never ignore when shopping online in Nigeria.

1. No Clear Business Page or Website

If a vendor can’t point you to a proper page, website, or at least a verified business profile, that’s already a huge red flag. Many fake vendors hide behind random usernames and use only WhatsApp for sales. Once they collect your money, they disappear into thin air. Always check for a real page with posts, reviews, and consistency before paying.

2. Prices That Look Too Good to Be True

If you see an iPhone 14 going for ₦200,000 or a human hair wig that’s priced like synthetic, just pause. Don’t be carried away by cheap prices — they’re often bait to trap buyers. Real products have real prices. It’s better to pay more for quality than to cry later over rubbish delivered to your doorstep.

3. No Reviews or Only Perfect Reviews

When you check a page and all the reviews sound too polished or look copied, that’s a sign. Real businesses have both good and not-so-good feedback — because nobody can please everyone. If you don’t see any customer feedback, videos, or tagged posts from real people, think twice.

4. Payment Before Delivery with No Option for Pickup

Some vendors will tell you to pay in full before delivery, and once you do, boom — they vanish. If a business insists you must pay before even seeing the product and has no physical pickup option or verified delivery method, don’t send that money. It’s safer to buy from vendors that allow payment on delivery or offer clear proof of legitimacy.

5. Poor Communication or Rude Attitude

A genuine vendor understands that good customer service builds trust. But once a seller starts replying with “Are you buying or not?” or “I don’t have time for plenty questions,” that’s a red flag. If they are rude before you even buy, imagine how they’ll act after you’ve paid and something goes wrong.

6. Stolen or Misleading Pictures

Some online sellers use pictures they downloaded from Pinterest or international websites to attract buyers. You’ll see a product that looks so classy online, but when it arrives, you’ll just sigh. Before you order, ask for real pictures or short videos of the product, not screenshots from the internet.

7. No Return or Refund Policy

Once a vendor tells you, “We don’t accept returns,” or “Once you pay, no refund,” it’s time to run. A legitimate business should be open to returns if the item delivered differs from what you ordered. Don’t let anyone guilt-trip you into buying something that might frustrate you later.

8. Not Seeing the Face of the Vendor

If you want to purchase any goods online and the vendor refuses to do a video call with you, so you can confirm their identity. Abeg run oo. A real vendor will always want to reveal their faces as proof that they are not scammers.

Final Thoughts

Shopping online in Nigeria doesn’t have to be a nightmare. There are genuine vendors out there who truly care about their customers and deliver exactly what you order, sometimes even better. But the internet is also filled with tricksters who are only after your money.

So next time you want to click “send money,” take a few minutes to check those details, read reviews, and trust your gut. If something doesn’t feel right, don’t ignore it. Because in this online shopping game, once your money enters, the story go enter too. What is your online shopping story.
i don't agree about that price. Let's use blood amd vdm saga as context. Assuming VDM did call out the excessive profit, or let's say vdm just release his own xr to 17 and start selling at 280k to blood 450k or other vendors 400k or 440k. U will call the ome from VDM fake or scam right?

Thus is the issue most of us with good business herat face in Nigeria. I'm a business man, I'm into fashion, I sell male wears in wholesale and I sell single too. My set up is very straightforward I have a group where I post all my goods with prices at a very affordable rate, no excessive profit. Most people after check my prices on the telegram channel, they will attribute it to fake bcus of the price. And at the end off the day still end up buying that same item twice the price from a dropshipper or boutique owner that bought from me

‘He Acted Swiftly And Panicky Because Of Coup, Not Insecurity’ – Shehu Condemns Tinubu

A public affairs analyst, Mahdi Shehu, has alleged that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s recent reshuffling of Nigeria’s service chiefs was driven by selfish political interests rather than the worsening insecurity across the country.

In a post on his official 𝕏 handle on Saturday, Shehu claimed the President acted out of fear and survival instincts following speculations of a coup plot.

Less than 2% of folks who left have returned, the remaining 98% who stayed back have their reasons. The government of the day should quit these japa propaganda and focus on making Nigeria work for Nigerians
lol, even inside Nigeria migration, not everybody that left the east or north to lagos, or West to port Harcourt. Goes back to their land even if they are struggling where they migrated to. Then whatt is your point? I'm into property business in general so I know what I'm saying.

So what is your point?
My point is in as much as the claim where a 17year old boy bought a 17,000 hecters is false amd misleading, your own claim that 14,000 hecters is tge whole benin strecth to uromi axis is also false and misleading. Lol. Sorry

Chucks13:
I don't believe all these fake talk. How can someone believe 17 years old will buy 14,000 hectares of land do people understand what hectare mean?

So are you telling me the damn 17 years bought entire Benin city up to uromi lenght and breadth or what?

Is a heatare in Edo 100k? If so then I'm coming to buy 50,000 hectare or more then.
14,000 hecters is very huge, but that 14,000 hecters u will fill in around 50times inside benin up to uromi area.

That 14,000 hecters = 140kmsquare
Benin alone is around = 1,500kmsquare
Benin strecth to uromi is around 7,500kmSquare

The total developed area where there are houses in that benin to uromi axis is around 700kmsquare let's say 1000kmsquare(100,000 hecters) at most. So the rest land are bushes around 6,000kmsquare(600,000hecters).

14,000 hecters is very huge amd the suze of sone LGA and big estate. But u can still get 50 of it around the bushy area of benin to uromi axis.. just get your money and go for the required approval from the government if you need it. U go see am plenty

Problem with wealth and everyone being able to afford cars.

The government should engage in propaganda to make more people use public transport instead of personal cars.

30 people in one big bus is 29 less cars on the same road.

36 lanes and there is still holdup. It's a problem of cancerous growth.
your point is top notch, but owning a car in such environment does not mean wealthy or rich. Cars are cheaper and affordable and there are loan options. Only in Africa they see cars as being wealthy or rich.

My dad bought his first 504 Peugeot car in 1975 brand new at the cost of 3,000 naira. In 1975 2 naira or rather $2 was equivalent to 1 naira. This means my father bought his car for $7,000. If you go to the United States today you can still buy a brand new car for between $7,000 to $8,000.

Politicians are Nigerias' decay constant
hmm.. 1975 so u think ur dad got that 3k naira without working hus ass off abi. U think its easy to get that 3k naira in 1975, bcus u where busy eating mama dash me then and not working. Judging from ur dad 1975 and all, it means you are way way older than I am, but realistically having knowledge does not lies on age alone. Age does not define who is knowledgeable. About ur claims that. U can get a brand new car for 7k to 8k in the USA. That is also completely false. The cheapest brand new car in the USA goes for around 18k dolls, i mean the cheapest, not something fancy.. and before u get that 18k in the usa, u will also work well for it. At ur age u still think people are picking free money anywhere in the world... Nigeria is very corrupt and no opportunities yes we know that, but that does not mean I should not use my brain, and be dishing out wrong and misleading info up and down just to exaggerating my point, or be mislead by people posting rubbish online

Chelsea is paying for their sins.
Their penchant to prioritise wingers (they don't need) over world class central defenders (they really needed) is telling on their performance.
Italian coach without water tight defence na coach? angry

The major problem with Chelsea is that they have no imposing central defensive pairing like John Terry/Carvalho or Paulo Maldini /Alexandro Nesta in their prime.

It also seems that Enzo Maresca is learning on the job.
He has to turn things around in the next 5 games or face immense pressure to keep his job.

but seriously the coach is the problem why chelsea does notvhave good CB pair. He kept ob changing them each match. Today u will see losing and chalobah, next match chalobah and corona, another match chalobah and badashile. When will two CB paired well and integrate if he kept changing them every match. Look at this match yesterday. Before the red card, Hato was playing well amd very compose, and the defend was solid. A good coach would have seen all this in training and kept on using hato with another defender fully as center back. And only makes sub in the second half if any of them is weak. Look at Liverpool CB PAIR. Look at Arsenal. Maresca is a very bad and inexperienced coach who is learning on the job and he will never learned

How's buying things in installments "fake life"? Even wealthy people do it.
Buying things on installments isn’t fake life. What people often call fake life is when a young person, maybe 25, who hasn’t yet defined his path or faced the bigger responsibilities of life, takes a heavy loan just to drive a 2012 RX 350.

Wealthy people do buy on installments, but not liabilities that will weigh them down. If the rich weren’t disciplined, planned well, and understood delay of gratification, they wouldn’t stay rich.

If you have 7m, you can go for a car worth 7m, or at most stretch to 10m, pay 7m upfront and spread the balance of 3m on loan. That still makes sense. But tying yourself to a big loan just to look good isn’t wise that’s where fake life comes in.. hope you understand
