Hmm!brainwashed. Tithe and what do u call it is based on Judaism, isrealites pay 10% of their proceeds to d priests in d temple and monasteries because priests are not to do bis,farm or rear. They use d money to run d temple. Christianity which is d offshoot of Judaism cancelled this practice and believe in free will donations(when paul ask people to give to d church, pple brought things based on freewill donations not one kind of programmed method donation(tithes). Basically it is a natural law that if u give u receive more(karma) no matter who u give it to. That's why u see pple from every religions are poor and rich, it doesn't matter u are christian,muslim,pagan,eckankar,hindu or bud ha.
