Depression is very real. Tho higher percentage of people in this country are passing through alot but it's actually worse for some people than others. I started wrestling suicidal thoughts since last year October, it get worst last month after seeing my dad on sick bed lying helplessly until he died. Life is tough and only the tough minded keep ruggeding it. If not for the thought of my mum, by now my story would've fade away from earth surface. Never blame those who have departed through the fast route of suicide, rather pray to God to give you strength to resist the thoughts and give you beautiful life not to even reason of accomodating suicidal thought. Depression is real but only the strong keep pushing life to see a better moments. |
The ongoing strike of the Academic Staff Union of Universities will complete 6months in two days time (August 14th). Recall that the union embark on the strike on 14th of February and no valid agreement has yet been reached between the parties which has continue to have adverse effects on several students. Amidst this, many Federal Universities (like Bayero University Kano) are yet to round up their first semester for the 2021/2022 academic session while others were at the verge of starting second semester before the strike commenced. It's quite unfortunate that according to many of these universities calendar, take for example Federal University of Technology Minna, the 2021/2022 academic session suppose to have been rounded up last month July and the school identity of each student is to expire this month August but same is not the story as the institution still have a whole semester left be completed for the 2021/2022 session. The question are, will the university be able to afford printing new ID card for her students? What will happen to those that has written post UTME but yet to be admitted? What of those who just wrote JAMB? What's the fate of the final year students who have to sacrifice another months entirely for the program? No thanks to the parties who have jeopardize the future of many Nigerian students through this incessant strike. God ![]() These people made me regret the choice I made 5years ago. I would've just go for HND and please my dad rather than trying to trail after B.Tech. Now am stuck in the middle of no where with just 2 months remaining to crown my efforts and say goodbye to undergraduate. Well, it's not yet over. I just need to move on but the truth is that the beautiful dream has been killed already, am diverting my focus to somewhere else now. |
As far as am concerned, it not yet clear that the strike is ending anytime soon. So sad

God knows that am tired of school already.. |
Nah person wey dn chop belle full go get time to read all this epistles. Abeg make person summarize it. Happy Sunday everyone |
Nigeria has turned to joke finish. Imagine some same set of people in the circle of government, they keep moving round the circle to milk the nation dry totally. From commissioner or other political appointment to state house of assembly to governorship position then to Senate or house of representative and then presidential position if possible. Anyways, I can be your sure plug when it comes to aluminum fabrication or office partitioning. Dm me on 08161509578 |

I understand how you feel, am 29 years old right now. Have been in 500 since 2021, just 2months remaining for me yet it feel like forever. All thanks to ASUU, I doubt if NYSC is sure for me but then have moved on and care less of what the education brings |
Despite how much I tried in the past to try buy Okrika cloth, shame or is it shyness won't allow me to get close to their market. |
I support this 100%. Imagine the effrontery of the so called minister of labor and others. Some days ago El-rufai son convocated from a school abroad, many others like that too. Now tell me if they feel the pains of common Nigerian |
Mavor:Can you please put me through, I need to break away from this stressful hustle wey never yield please |
Mavor:Sounds great, do you have time to put me through this please |
Wow... Congratulations young girl.. |
I can't but just be sober for the kind country i find myself. Just imagine the effrontery that a person could have associating and gallivanting up and down with terrorist yet no single summon of him. Igboho was just there going up and down to enlighten his people on how to stand for there right, he display no weapon nor been violent yet his house was raded and blood stain everywhere yet someone is there walking freely after publicly defending and justifying bandit actions. Nothing dey pain me pass when one is been oppressed and yet no chance of voicing out for him. Most time I envy the dead because they're no more to witness the hell on Earth in naija. Woe unto the evil doers and perpetrators because the evil of there hand will never depart from their family. What a nation |

I can’t but feel relieved that naija failed to qualify. Imagine how much would’ve been budgeted to go for the Qatar2022 which at end of the nah shit them go still play. A lot of money would’ve been siphoned also. Make we all dey here dey watch other better countries together. The soul of Mr Akin and others that lost there soul today sef won’t be happy if naija qualify. We want better country |

Rawhumper:Common, you can do better than this. Not everyone is as bad or wicked as you think. I known this man back then as a very strong man. His days at Dangote Flour Mill was a great one to everyone around him. He was known to be very blunt, sincere and fearless. He always ensure everyone right is been observed. Reason why he was chosen as the TUC chairman kwara state. Mr. Akin was a very good man. Imagine what will be in the mind of his two young boys and the wife. May God almighty safe us from this blood sucking nation. So sad |

I was always a guest on nairaland for like 2years before I decided to be a member back then in 2016. The shining of this beautiful forum was so bright then with meaningful and educative threads all over everywhere. The rule were very effective then that there was no room for tribalism or ethnicity brawl. Member always maintain decorum and you get improving yourself everyday through some inspiring content on the education section and other sections.. It's so sad to see how the forum has become polluted with ethnicity and tribal bigot now. There's no single day that you won't see people calling each other names. As a Yoruba guy, I stay up north for several years, stayed in Nnewi for a year or two, been to Enugu on many occasions and Auchi in Edo is like a second home for me.. One of my best friends now Chinonso is a very hard-working and sincere guy. Have many Hausa guys around and we all relate as one. But it's so sad that here as a public forum with million members and guests daily is now home for calling names and sentiment arena. Sincere youth souls in this nation knows that all is not going well and instead of many to wake up and fight for what is right, they refuse but cowardly fighting themselves on faceless forum.. I believe Seun and others can do better and find a way of returning sanity here rather than enjoying the traffic resulting from tribal conversation here. Mod can do well and push this to the front page. We want nairaland back in his glory. Thanks |
Timzy16:Which pity you dey pity oga. Nah trash you dey talk. Affiliate marketing in naija nah scam as far as I know. I have a guy on my neck pressuring me to come and register this shit even for just 50k. You scam people to get paid, those one dropping their numbers don't even know shit about what you intend to do to them. I wouldn't have issue if you go straight to your point but saying ASUU is a blessing bla bla bla is very annoying.. I'm done talking okay. You can keep your rant to yourself |
Noise... Strike is a blessing to you yen yen yen just because you want to advertise your affliate marketing. Abeg shift one side before vulnerable students yab you here... Nonsense and education minister |
In as much I want new wave in the political sector in Nigeria. I can categorically say this old man is doing what youth should be doing. Technically, South Eastern Nigeria should be the next turn of presidential seat but is as if they are not doing quite alright in gaining momentum around. Preparation is a vital component of any success. If Peter Obi is ready, he should work very well in the campaign segment. I don't want to vote any old man irrespective of tribe. Obi is still quite okay but he should not let me loose my vote. Much is expected abeg |

Imagine talk like shit!!!! Somebody should whisper to my ear how naija wn take better with this kind ideology and opinion. That's why I don't relate with fanatics either Christian or Muslim. God damn it, make I double my hustle jakpa for this country. One keep getting irritated everyday with different opinions of fools being publicize. |
Ok.... Let me build my tent here while waiting for the kiddo-war-analyst to start spewing trash that they have no idea about |
I book the space and later find out I have nothing to say.. Anyway, say no to tribalism on nairaland |
Yawnnnn. Wetin naija court no dey postpone, that's how it roll here until everyone involved in the trial won't have strength again. |
