In our country for instance, when someone is sick and they have no money to afford health care in our quack hospitals, they resort to prayers. But in Europe, health care is completely free and you don't have to pay a penny. They also know that "only" proper medication can ameliorate an ailment and not some supernatural powers. An unemployed graduate rely on prayer to secure a job when it shouldn't be so. Whereas in the West, jobs are readily available provided you have the required skills. And even if you're not working government pays you weekly benefits to sustain you and provide an apartment till you get back to work.

A lot of responsibilities that should rest on the shoulders of the government has now been shifted to God in Nigeria. That's why they find non-believers strange and devilish. Westerners (atheist) believes that life is what we make of it, and why we (Nigerians) believe that life is what God makes of us.

Yep, we have also provided Prosthetic legs for amputees because God seems to not want to heal them.
