His house was attacked, besieged and stormed by heavily armed soldiers and his three children killed, wife shot, followers burnt alive and his house demolished in a supposedly democratic country. His worship center was raised to the ground by soldiers and his followers slaughtered cold bloodedly. A bloody sectarian attack and crackdown on Shia Muslims staged by your constituted authority. The Buhari government has just charged Shia leader Ibrahim El-Zakzaky with "murder'! Yes, "murder"! What the heck is going on?

You murder a man's family members and hundreds of his supporters in cold blood for merely blocking a road, you illegally detain him and his wife for more than 2 years, and when his supporters peacefully and persistently protest to demand his release, you charge him with murder! Whom did he kill? A government that should be charged with mass murder at the International Criminal Court is charging the surviving victim of its mass murder with murder!

It's now crystal clear that Buhari is self-consciously goading Shia Muslims to take up arms against the state. He wants to have the dubious honor of being the president who spawned a Shia version of Boko Haram.

I am no Shia and frankly have no familiarity with their theology, but you only need to be human to know that this is straight-up unconscionable!

Buhari went live on national TV, two weeks after the Zaria massacre to defend the atrocities and persecution committed by his army men. He even hinted that had he been a military head of state, he would have given harsher orders.

To this day, no one has been punished and the mass grave of 347 Nigerians, which the Kaduna State confessed to, exists without any excavation or proper burial for the victims, talk less of punishing the perpetrators and rewarding the victims families.

How can any rogue general kill over three hundred people and the president does nothing?

33 people were killed under Jonathan, and Jonathan apologized to zakzaky. And you have guts to compare Jonathan and buhari.

And further along the line, Shiites continue to be targeted by the army and police whenever they set out to commemorate their religious events or embark on religious processions. Saddam Hussein who was a one time close US ally, and who launched war on Iran with US support, was hanged in US administered Iraq after he was found guilty of mass murder in a Shi'a village called Dujail.

Iran being a Shi'a country doesn't necessarily mean all Shi'a are pro-Iranian or sponsored by Iran. Nonetheless, genocide and mass murder and mass graves cannot be justified.

A country where a court ruling can be put aside by the tyrant is in a sorry and lawless state.

The clash yesterday between Shiites and police in maitama, after police forcefully fired at and teargassed Shiite peaceful protesters reveals an ugly turn of events.

If buhari continues his strong head, a day will come (if hes still alive) that he will hate to have ever heard the word "shia". The Shiites, barehanded, used stones and basket to stand their ground and confront buhari's police force and armoured vehicle. Its an eye opener for coward Nigerians who get beaten by the tyrannical security agents and smile or hide. The Shiites gave a 101 lesson to have to stand up for one's rights right in the heart of abuja.

If, god forbid, anything happens to zakzaky in buhari's custody, Nigeria will suffer another catastrophe. Why is buhari a worker of doom. If buhari push these people to get armed, and he has already done enough pushing to provoke them and persecute them, history will not judge buhari well.

Instead of keeping the old injured man and his wife in custody, why not send him into exile to one shia country (Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Azerbaijan)? They say he's ill. Let him go to one of those countries. And if it happens he ends up dying, it won't be in Nigeria. Buhari thinks only him has strong head. His strong head will lead him to doom. Hes already a big failure with his myopic and reta.rded style of rulership. I can't even call it leadership. The old fool is no leader.
